The next morning, at the entrance of No. 1 High School.

Guo Dai arrived early, surrounded by a group of chattering students. Zhao Feng and Huang Qiaoqiao walked over.

Zhao Feng leaned close to Guo Dai and whispered in her ear, recounting how Huang Qiaoqiao had almost been sabotaged by her stepmother, which could have ruined her college entrance exam...

"No way, her mom is that vicious? Trying to ruin Qiaoqiao's future?"

"She's not her real mom."

Guo Dai's expression turned serious, her fair, plump face darkening like storm clouds. Huang Qiaoqiao was her star student, a promising candidate for Tsinghua or Peking University, the kind of student who could cent her reputation as a top college prep teacher. How could such a heinous thing happen to her?

Guo Dai pulled Huang Qiaoqiao aside and comforted her in a low voice, whispering advice to ensure that the unfortunate incident wouldn't affect her performance in the exam.

Zhao Feng scanned the surroundings and noticed Yan Xiaohong rushing over from across the street, crossing the road. He imdiately tugged at Guo Dai and said in a low voice, "The stepmother is here to cause trouble. I'll leave her to you, teacher. I'll take Qiaoqiao into the exam hall early."

Guo Dai's eyes flashed with determination. She nodded and said, "Focus on the exam. I'll handle her."

Zhao Feng grabbed Huang Qiaoqiao's hand and walked briskly toward the school gate, preparing to enter the exam hall ahead of ti.

Yan Xiaohong's sharp eyes locked onto Huang Qiaoqiao like a venomous snake. She shouted at the top of her lungs, "Huang Qiaoqiao, you little brat! How dare you stay out all night? Stop right there!"

Huang Qiaoqiao didn't look back. She followed Zhao Feng into the exam hall and disappeared down the tree-lined path.

Yan Xiaohong flailed her arms wildly, running across the road like a madwoman, causing cars to swerve to avoid her. She chased after them all the way to the school gate, where the guards imdiately stopped her.

"Let through! My daughter isn't taking the exam. Let drag her out!"

"Ma'am, this is a college entrance exam site. If you don't leave now, you're breaking the law. You'll face the consequences."

The guard glared at Yan Xiaohong like a hungry wolf, causing her to step back in fear.

Yan Xiaohong looked around and spotted Guo Dai standing not far away, surrounded by a group of students as she gave them last-minute advice. Yan Xiaohong's eyes darted around, and she charged over in a fit of rage.

Yan Xiaohong grabbed Guo Dai and said urgently, "Sothing's happened at ho. Qiaoqiao's dad has been hospitalized with food poisoning. She needs to go to the hospital to sign so papers."

Guo Dai's face remained expressionless. She shook off Yan Xiaohong's hand and said coldly, "Food poisoning isn't fatal. Why are you here instead of staying at the hospital? Go back and take care of your husband. Don't disrupt Qiaoqiao's exam."

Yan Xiaohong's face turned red with anger. "The hospital needs Qiaoqiao's signature. This is a matter of life and death!"

Guo Dai couldn't help but laugh mockingly. "That's your husband. Can't you sign for him? If you can't write, just use your fingerprint. Hurry back to the hospital before you end up a widow."

Yan Xiaohong was stunned, staring at Guo Dai in disbelief. Her words made sense—if her husband died, she would beco a widow. She realized there was no reasoning with Guo Dai. No wonder she was a teacher.

"If your husband is sick, why aren't you at the hospital? I'm not a doctor. What good will talking to do?" Guo Dai said.

"Teacher Guo, Qiaoqiao's dad is really in trouble. Please let her leave the exam hall," Yan Xiaohong pleaded helplessly.

"The college entrance exam is sacred and fair. If you continue to cause trouble and maliciously disrupt my student's exam, I'll call the police and have you detained for reflection," Guo Dai said sternly.

"What do you an? My family is in trouble, and I need my daughter. How is that malicious disruption?" Yan Xiaohong protested.

"I have nothing more to say to you," Guo Dai said, walking over to the guards and whispering a few words while pointing at Yan Xiaohong.

The two guards exchanged glances, then rushed over and grabbed Yan Xiaohong. Despite her struggles and foul-mouthed curses, they dragged her into a riot control vehicle and drove her away. She would be detained for at least seven days.

Guo Dai's expression remained cold. She hadn't expected Huang Qiaoqiao, such a quiet and diligent student who consistently ranked in the top three in monthly exams, to co from such a complicated family with such a malicious stepmother. No wonder she studied so hard—only by getting into university and leaving this family could she change her fate.

Thanks to Guo Dai's decisive action, Yan Xiaohong was detained, and all her sches were thwarted. Huang Qiaoqiao was able to complete her exams without any interference.

As the sun set in the evening, Zhao Feng and Huang Qiaoqiao walked out of the exam hall side by side. Guo Dai approached and gave Huang Qiaoqiao a hug, asking, "How did it go?"

Huang Qiaoqiao replied softly, "I perford better than usual. My score should be higher than my usual results."

Guo Dai patted Huang Qiaoqiao's shoulder and praised, "Well done! I'm so proud of you. If you perford as usual, you could get into a top-tier university. With this exceptional performance, you might even aim for Tsinghua or Peking University."

Zhao Feng asked, "Teacher, when will the exam results co out?"

Guo Dai replied, "Don't rush. Co back to school in three days to estimate your scores. The correct answers will be released by then, and you can fill out your college applications. The official results will co out later. Go ho and rest for three days. Have so fun."

Zhao Feng asked curiously, "Where did Yan Xiaohong go? She didn't show up to cause trouble all day."

Guo Dai pulled Huang Qiaoqiao aside, ruffled her hair, and said seriously, "Don't bla , but your stepmother was too wicked. I had her detained. She'll probably be in there for a week. Let your dad know."

Huang Qiaoqiao was stunned, her mouth forming an "O." She said weakly, "Teacher, you're amazing!"

Zhao Feng gave a thumbs-up and said, "Teacher, I'm starting to admire you."

Guo Dai said sternly, "Learning isn't just about knowledge; it's also about understanding the law and using it to protect your rights. If Qiaoqiao is ever bullied or faces trouble again, call . I'll have her stepmother detained again. Let's see if she dares to cause more trouble."

Huang Qiaoqiao said excitedly, "Thank you, teacher."

Zhao Feng added, "Qiaoqiao's stepmother isn't easy to deal with. She's a real snake. Teacher, please keep an eye out, especially when Qiaoqiao is filling out her college applications and waiting for her admission letter. We don't want any more trouble."

Guo Dai patted Zhao Feng's shoulder and nodded. "Don't worry. Qiaoqiao is my star student. I'll keep a close eye on everything until she gets into university. Nothing will go wrong."

After saying goodbye to Teacher Guo, Zhao Feng rode his Phoenix bicycle to take Huang Qiaoqiao ho, then returned to his own house.

In the spacious living room, a table full of steaming dishes was already set. His parents were eagerly waiting for Zhao Feng to co ho and share the good news.

Zhao Feng pushed open the door and walked into the living room. Zhou Qingi was so excited she could barely contain herself. "Xiao Feng, how did it go?"

Zhao Feng smiled. "I perford exceptionally well. A top-tier university is guaranteed. We'll know more in three days when we estimate the scores."

Zhao Changhe was overjoyed. He slamd the table and said excitedly, "Qingi, bring out the aged Zhuangyuan Hong wine we've been saving. Tonight, we're celebrating Xiao Feng's success!"

Zhou Qingi bead with joy. "Coming right up!"
