The Milky Way Galaxy.
It is one of hundreds of billions of galaxies in the observable universe. Its na is a translation of the Latin term Via Lactea, which in turn is derived from the Greek galaxias, referring to the pale band of light ford by stars in the galactic plane as seen in the night skies of Holy Terra.
The stellar disk of the Milky Way galaxy is approximately 100,000 light-years in diater and is considered to be, on average, about 1,000 light years thick. It is estimated to contain at least 200 billion stars and possibly up to 400 billion stars, with an estimated average of 300 billion, the exact figure depending on the number of very low-mass, or dwarf stars.
This can be compared to the one trillion stars of the larger neighbouring Androda galaxy.
Milky Way Galaxy was a very dangerous place, and it was always a dangerous place, even during the age of the Solar Terran Federation.
Old Ones.
Star Gods.
Necrons.
Aeldari.
Chaos.
And this was just the start of the list of dangers in the Milky Way Galaxy. Now, after the Old Night and the Age of Strife, the dangers of the Milky Way Galaxy reached entirely new heights that had never been seen before.
For , one of the greatest dangers was the Imperium of Man due to the Emperor of Mankind and his theocratic fanatics. Fortunately, the Imperium was significantly weakened, with the Emperor immobilized on the Golden Throne and the Primarchs lost across ti and space.
So things that I planned to do would attract the inevitable attention of the Imperium of Mankind, and I would be for sure their enemy.
Life and death, one to be precise.
The current state of the Milky Way Galaxy was shit.
It seed that after my death, things really started spiraling.
Following the birth of the Chaos God Slaanesh at the end of the Age of Strife in the early 30th Millennium, the Milky Way Galaxy was rent by the implosion of the Aeldari Empire and the fall of the greatest Empire that the Milky Way Galaxy has ever seen.
Where the core worlds of that ancient stellar realm had been in the galactic northwest, a vast new Warp rift spilled out into realspace, the Eye of Terror.
The Eye of Terror, called the Ocularis Terribus in High Gothic, is a massive Warp rift and permanent Warp storm approximately twenty thousand light years across, a nexus of Psychic Energy and physical space-ti where the Immaterium co-exists with realspace.
Fortunately enough, the Fenran Rex IX had so records about the Eye of Terror and its implications from the ti when the planet had contact with the rest of the Imperium, as this place was technically on the list of planets that would soon be added to the Imperial Space.
The sole reason why it wasn't yet was due to the Warp Storm.
It was the largest and most well-known Warp rift in the Milky Way Galaxy and is located at the rimward edge of the galaxy, to the galactic northwest of Terra, in the Segntum Obscurus.
It was ho to the largest concentration of the forces of Chaos in realspace, including the Traitor Legions of Chaos Space Marines that fled from Terra after the end of the Horus Heresy.
Not to ntion, since the creation of the Eye of Terror, the number of Chaos Incursions into the realspace has increased trendously, while at the sa ti, the Daemons of Chaos have found it much easier to enter the realspace.
The barriers between the Immaterium and Materium were much weaker due to the Eye of Terror, which was giving the Daemons more and more freedom than one would have thought or wanted.
This allowed more and more Daemons to descend from the Immaterium and possess Psykers, and even in so places, the Daemons could materialize directly.
"So, when can I undergo the process?"
Not long after I finished the Genetic Surgery and Gene Therapy, Esdeath also wanted to undergo them and beco a Psyker. In the end, she was in for everything that would increase her strength and power.

Esdeath was always very punctual and precise all the ti.
Even though she wasn't fond of these traditions, she was going through every single one, and now, it ca the ti for the presentation of the trophy for the Patriarch and father of the Tribe, and asking for her hand.
