As we had an essentially unknown amount of ti until the powerhouses of the Shao Universe arrived, the second the capital spaceship of the Spirit Empire descended down onto the Douluo Planet; I imdiately went to work.
Not only but also my wives were going to work, and each of them was taking up a different sector of the defenses.
Grayfia and Venelana were with in checking up on the defenses over the Douluzo Planet because the entire solar system where the Douluo Planet was located was also filled with countless magic formations.
So of them were even inscribed personally by .
Fia and Vena were essentially skilled in the magic theory and runes, which were essential in creating such inscriptions, so they could help with this task; thus, I delegated part of the work to them.
"Vena and Fia, take the inscription around the planet; I will take the ones all around the solar system across the other planets."
I said as we divided into two teams as we went to activate the inscriptions that were inactive and check on the other ones. On my part, I had it done within one hour because I was... what to say... aweso...

I made most of these things, and with my working speed, it took a really short ti to control everything and activate the inactive war formations because those ones needed to be activated manually.
I also made so small adjustnts to the already existing inscriptions to boost up their performance.
Venelana and Grayfia took a bit longer ti to check up on everything while I was together with Hela, who was discussing the option of defense together with the Military Leadership of the Spirit Empire and Grandmaster of the Holy Templar Order of the Spirit Hall.
While the battle would be left for the high-end powerhouses, there was still the possibility of the invasion and even if the invasion was not probable, then the army would still have a role to play, which was service around super weapons stationed across the entirety of the solar system.

anwhile, the Father of All Devils was bolstering the magical defenses over the solar system.
Right now, one of the people who would be ascending as Gods through the "super secret special thod", Lucifer Renxue, was sitting in her quarters and having a call through the network with her fianceé, Lord General of the 9th Army of the Imperialis Militarum, Lord General Feng Xiu.

Due to their nature, they were tasked with protecting the ritual core.
In their fullest battle formation, they could easily fight against peak Tier 11 entities and were especially a pain in the ass to deal with.
anwhile, Renxue was glad that her fianceé was right now stationed in the sa Universe, but because of the fact that she was preparing for the ascension, she was in the Spirit City while Feng Xiu was touring several of the locations where the Pilons were located.
"This is already the last of the Pilons we are checking... after that, we are returning back to the Spirit City to guard the Heart Crystal."
Renxue frowned hearing her fianceé because instead of spending ti with her, he was spending ti looking at those weird, black monoliths and looking at them.
Naturally, this wasn't an activity that she, as Princess of the Chthonian Empire of the Baator, Crown Princess of the Spirit Empire and Holy Daughter of the Spirit Hall, indulged.
"That is soooo boring."
She complained to her finaceé, who just shook his head in amusent because there was nothing else to say about this.

The Pilons were the latest technology that the Chthonian Empire developed and was considered the pinnacle of the Arcanotek of the Empire. They were based on the old models of the Planar Suppression Pillars, which were based on the Dawn Pillars developed by the Dawn Emperor.
"They are big black pieces of tal or whatever... and they are boring..."
She complained about it... from the mbers of her family, she was never one for all techno-talk or whatever... for Renxue it sounded too boring.
"I will be done within one hour or so; there is only one Pilon that needs to be checked."
The Pilons were right now sothing akin to semi-experintal technology because they weren't properly tested in extre environnts yet. In fact, there was not a situation that would require their fullest activation, so their use on the Douluo would be the Trial of Fire.
"Whatever... how long do you think we have until attack?"
She then turned the discussion toward the other topic because she was getting nervous about the ascension to the higher Tiers, especially considering the fact that they would be attacked by all Tier 11 powerhouses of the entire Universe.
"Who knows, it could be every second, but unfortunately, you cannot ascend without the preparations being completed, which would be within a few hours. So, hopefully, your ascension process will be completed by the ti the Universe Will decides to launch the attack."
Feng Xiu answered her truthfully as Renxue nodded in agreent with his statent.
"I am still a bit nervous about that... what if sothing goes wrong?"
In an ascension process like this, everything could happen.
Renxue feared that sothing would go wrong, not to ntion she was aware of the fact that they would be attacked by the top powerhouses of the Shao Universe.
"Nothing will go wrong because everything is within the prediction of the Father of All Devils..."
Feng Xiu answered shortly after because, like the rest, he had absolute faith in the Ancestor that everything would go without any complications.
