Chapter 724 The Family eting II
Back at the eting room after Fu Juan left, Grandfather Fu stated the reason for the eting before leaving the floor open for Fu Juan's husband.
The man agreed on only a few of what Fu Juan said about him. He agreed that the part about him having a wife and two children outside was true, but as for other things, they were not true.
"Since I married Juan till today, I have lost my temper a lot of tis, but I have never hit her, but she? She hits despite knowing that I would never retaliate. She insults my family and , she doesn't listen to and does things as it pleases her."
When he was asked if he knew about the adoption Fu Juan carried out, he denied that fact. "I have no idea that she adopted anyone for a child as I haven't been staying with her anymore. I only co back a few tis to stay over."
"I was about to ask how it was possible for her to adopt a child and you wouldn't know anything about it, but you have already given the answer already." Fu Geming said and looked away.
Thrvnan understood that "Even if I stay with her like before, she would never tell anything about it since I rejected that idea long ago. Also, Juan does as she pleases. She has never sought advice from before, and neither has she taken one from either".
Fu Juan's husband confessed that he was tired of the marriage with her and wanted to part ways. He also stated that he was ready to face any punishnts dished out to him by the Fu family.
While speaking, he didn't look like he regretted his cheating actions, and the entire family could understand that as he had already explained to them.
The only thing that made him feel a little guilty was the fact that if the news of him having another family while still married to Fu Juan spreads to the dia, the Fu family would be shad.
Before saying anything to him, Grandfather Fu asked Butler Li to call Fu Juan in. Imdiately Fu Juan sat down, he threw a question at her.
"Do you plan on spending the rest of your life with this man?"
Without sparing her husband a glance, she replied, "Never, I'm done with him."
"If you are done with him, then divorce him. You don't even want to spend the rest of your life with him, so what is all this nonsense?!" Fu Lei asked with a dangerous ga directed at her.
"Indeed, I don't want to spend the rest of my life with him, and it's also true that I don't want to divorce him. We can live apart from each other while still being married. I won't care whatever he does with other won as long as he doesn't bring them into my house." Fu Juan sad stubbornly.
Even Fu Hee and Fu ChuHua were provoked. They really wanted to ask if that form of revenge she wanted to carry out was worth it because, at the end of the day, she would be the one losing, but they optioned to keep quiet.
As for Fu Hua, YingPei, and Ling, they also chose not to interrupt as it was pointless seeing their Aunt's actions and stubbornness.
Grandfather Fu who has been sitting patiently after asking that question, called her attention to what her husband had said about her verbally abusing him and disrespecting him, long before he cheated on her.
"He exaggerated on so of the things he said, also, did he tell you how he kept on insulting our family and saying stuff like I wasn't raised properly? No matter my reaction to him, it still can't compare to him committing adultery and having children outside, his sins are greater!" Fu Juan insisted.
This ti around, Grandfather Fu did not bother to waste his ti on this issue and let the husband and wife exchange words. After getting Fu Juan to shut up, he said with his gaze on everybody present in the eting room...
"Long ago, I agreed with my wife that there would be nothing like divorce in my family. And as every mber of the family know, divorce is not allowed in the family, but for this case, I have lifted the ban."
Fu Juan beca alard and wanted to speak up to defend her rights by saying that nobody would tell her whether to divorce her husband or not because they were not the ones hurt in her stead, but She was threatened by Fu Geming.
"If you are that brainless, I dare you to interrupt father! You are not allowed to say anything unless you are given the right to speak!"
As he cautioned her, the next thing on Fu Juan's mind was to walk away, but Fu Hee stopped her.
"Sister Juan, I know how hurt and betrayed you feel, but if you don't let the family help you to take the right step, you would lose the only backbone you have left."
That thing Fu Hee said, sank deep into Fu Juan's heart. She knew she was right, and sat back in her seat. She had lost her husband already, and if she lost the family she ca from, what other solid rock could she lean on?
It was not enough for her to have a successful career and an adult child. Without a family's support since she didn't have friends, she would be a loose thread easy to defeat, especially when her family was there, but can't help her.
Because of what Fu Hee said to her, Fu Juan sat back down and waited for her old man to finish speaking.
"It is clear that both of you don't love and care about each other. I have also confird from you two that there is no trust and the foundation of your relationship has long been broken, and you two are not willing to spend the rest of your lives with each other." Grandfather said and paused before he continued...
