Chapter 675 Pregnancy confirmation
"The pregnancy test turned out positive." Jia Li revealed with her gaze downwards as she didn't dare to face Fu Hua.
"Since you knew the tests turned out positive, and you slipped and fell in shock, why didn't you want to go to the hospital? Shouldn't your priority be to make sure that everything was alright?" Fu Hua asked.
He didn't see any reasoning in her actions. He didn't get to see the results on the 3 kits, but he was worried that she might have dislocated her arm or broken a bone. But knowing that she was pregnant, didn't care to take precautions, so he was annoyed.
Jia Li remained quiet till they got off the car. She didn't know the reason for Fu Hua's show of anger, and now, she was starting to get annoyed. It would be better for him to talk to her clearly than to speak that way.
If you are angry, speak up instead of going in a roundabout manner, that was what Jia Li wanted.
Fu Hua had driven to the sa hospital he had earlier booked an appointnt with. When the nurses at the reception saw him, they smiled and attended to him imdiately.
Instead of going to see the Obstetrician he booked an appointnt, Fu Hua demanded ergency treatnt for his wife, and all his requests were granted.
First of all, he wanted an X-ray done on his wife. "Is it safe for a pregnant woman to get an X-ray done, I heard it's not healthy?" Fu Hua inquired.
One of the nurses replied, "It's safe, and there is little or no risk."
After getting a confirmation, Fu Hua ordered for the X-ray to be done, before the small bruise on Jia Li's arm was treated.
Within 20 minutes, the X-ray was done, the result was out, and it showed that all of Jia Li's bones were intact. The only thing done to the small bruise on Jia Li's arm was cleaning it and applying 2 different types of ointnt on them, with a cool massage.
"I can't believe I ca here for such a small matter. I'm so embarrassed." Jia Li said in a low tone as she followed Fu Hua out of the room.
"Getting a premium treatnt that was paid for, no matter how small and invalid the injury is, is not sothing to be embarrassed for." Fu Hua said to her.
As they made a turn to another hallway instead of walking straight to and going back to the reception room, Jia Li asked with a confused glance, "Where are we going to?"
"I booked an appointnt with an Obstetrician, and we are going to see her right away." Fu Hua revealed.
Jia Li heard this and stopped working. "You booked an appointnt with an Obstetrician, when did you do that?"
Jia Li was surprised by what was happening. She only told him about the test results turning positive when they were close to the hospital and throughout the ti they spent in the hospital, he was with her, so when did he get the chance to book another appointnt?
Did he already know she might be pregnant, or did he guess the situation she was in? What was his reason for booking that appointnt for her?
"Do all these questions matter when we are here already?" Fu Hua asked as he pulled her arm and continued walking down the hallway.
Since he wouldn't give her an answer to that question, she asked, "Why do we still need to see the obstetrician when the pregnancy test kits were positive?"
"Did I see the results with my eyes? Also, I don't trust that thing. Doing the right test in the hospital is the best." Fu Hua replied.
What more could Jia Li say?
When Jia Li and Fu Hua t the Obstetrician, she was asked to take the sa pregnancy test using a test kit, and a sample of her urine was taken to the laboratory for another pregnancy test.
All the pregnancy tests conducted turned out positive. This is the mont Fu Hua was supposed to be happy, the mont he has been waiting for, but no happiness was seen on his face. A knot was still tied to his heart.
As for Jia Li, she was happy, but when she t Fu Hua's gaze and didn't see any sign of happiness on his face, the smile on her face slowly disappeared.
She wondered what he was unhappy about. She was thinking if he was still angry with her for her actions the previous day, or if he didn't want the child anymore.
Whatever the case might be, she would have to wait till they got ho before asking him.
Before leaving the doctor's office, Fu Hua took the list and the prescription of drugs that Jia Li would have to be taking until she gives birth.
From the doctor's office, they left for the drug store in the sa hospital to get the drugs before going ho.
"Why are you angry with ?" Jia Li asked on their way back ho. She has been disturbed a lot for her to remain quiet until they got ho before throwing questions at him.
Fu Hua glanced over and asked, "Does my face show that I am angry?"
"Of course it does, your actions say a lot as well. Are you unhappy with or the child?" Jia Li questioned.
Fu Hua was quiet for a while before speaking up. He had also wanted to wait till they got ho before questioning her, but since she had brought up the topic now, it would be better to thrash everything out imdiately.
"Did you suspect that you were pregnant yesterday?" Fu Hua asked.
There was a slight delay in the reply. Jia Li was conflicted. If she said the truth, he would scope her doe suffering all by herself. If she lied, and he finds out about it, she would be in more trouble, so she optioned to say the truth.
"If you don't want to answer my questions, then we have to close this case as it is." Fu Hua said that because of her delay in response.
