Chapter 656 FangSu shows off her engagent ring
Because of the party, the youngsters of the Fu family were late for dinner. Already, they had eaten sothing at the party, so there was no need to worry about dinner.
By the ti Zhang Junjie dropped FangSu back at the Fu Mansion, it was already past 11 pm, and the oldies has gone to bed.
FangSu so badly wanted to show off her engagent ring, but it looks like she would have to wait till the morning of tomorrow.
Before going to bed that night, FangSu took so photos of the ring on her finger and posted them on all her social dia pages.
She had captioned the posts with, 'Thank you Jie for the surprise engagent party, and I love the ring especially.'
There was a satisfied smile on her face after making the posts. As she put down her phone to go to bed, it rang. Zhang Junjie was on the line.
"I called to say good night." Zhang Junjie said imdiately the call was answered.
"Goodnight, I love you," FangSu said with a blissful smile.
"I love you too." Zhang Junjie replied before ending the conversation.
FangSu was still very excited about the surprise engagent party. She continued to daydream before falling asleep in the early hours of the morning.
It looked like her brain had worked according to her will because by 6 am, FangSu was already up. She brushed her teeth and went for a run to look better when she goes to the dining table.
On her way out, she t Fu Hua, who gave her a weird glance.
"You didn't sleep well?" He asked.
That question was weird for FangSu because her big brother usually didn't ask that question. In fact, he didn't care to look at her that closely, and even if he mistakenly did that, he would never say anything, so she was a bit surprised.
Touching her face, FangSu asked, "What happened to my face?"
"Forget it, you must have drank too much last night out of excitent and didn't get to sleep well. By the way, why did you co out to run, you don't work out here, is sothing bothering you?" Fu Hua asked.
FangSu smiled and gave him the best reply ever, "I was bothered as I haven't shown off my ring to grandfather yet. I wonder how they would all react to seeing the ring on my finger."
Fu Hua shook his head at her childishness. "So, you want to show off? Are you that excited?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I be excited? Were you and Sister-in-law not excited like when you two were getting married?" FangSu asked with a slight frown.
To her, it wasn't a new thing to be excited over one's engagent with a ring, every wannabe bride and groom, do that.
FangSu's question took Fu Hua back to the past. He rembered that he and Jia Li had no choice but to get married back then. They were not happy about it, but none of them ended up fighting against it at last.
"My marriage to your sister-in-law wasn't that exciting in the beginning, but we worked things out, so we are very happy now." Fu Hua replied.
"Oh! I see..." FangSu replied.
"Run along..." Fu Hua said before jogging away.
Thirty minutes later, FangSu returned to her room to wash up and get ready for breakfast. Before going down for breakfast, she spoke with her Fiance on phone. Their conversation lasted for over 15 minutes.
Finally arriving at the dining ready, FangSu found out that she was the last person to arrive. She hurriedly sat on her seat with a big smile.
Picking up a cup of coffee, FangSu raised the mug to her lips and drank from it, while waiting for soone to notice her ring and ask about it.
Of course, soone did notice her ring, and that was her mother.
"FangSu, is that an engagent ring?" Fu Hee asked with a questionable gaze.
As Fu Hee asked that question, the rest of the family mbers looked over in FangSu's direction to see the ring.
FangSu put down her mug of coffee and let everyone see her ring. "Mum, you are right. Zhang Junjie gave this ring to last night and asked to marry him. And before you say anything, my brothers and cousins were present last night."
In case any adult had sothing to say against her accepting the ring without any of her family being present, she would throw them off balance.
"That's right mum, Zhang Junjie threw her a surprise engagent party last night," YingPei said with a smile.
"Last night? I thought it was his birthday yesterday?" Fu Lei asked with a slight frown.
Fu Hua replied, "Yes it was, but he prepared this surprise for FangSu. He also ca to tell about it in FJ."
"This lass is very thoughtful." Fu ChuHua said from the side as a big smile hung on her face.
Grandfather Fu glanced at the ring on FangSu's finger and went back to eating his food with a slight smile, while the rest congratulate FangSu.
FangSu was all smiles as she replied to everyone.
"Aunty, Su, your ring is pretty!" Jasmine said with her eyes glistening. She saw the shiny diamond ring and couldn't help being fascinated by it.
"You like it?" FangSu asked with a big smile as she showed off the ring in front of her, so she could see it properly. Jasmine nodded in response.
"Thank you!" FangSu replied and retracted her finger.
ixu leaned in to say to her, "Are you satisfied now after showing off?"
"Not yet, I can't wait to be done with breakfast to go check my phone, because by now, the news of my engagent would be the talk of the town," FangSu replied in a soft tone.
ixu scoffed and went back to eating her food.
At the police cell where Bai Jun and Mark were locked up, Mark was scratching his arms and shivering a little.
