Chapter 624 – Heartbroken Alix
The servant was afraid to talk but more scared that she would attack with her claws, so she spoke up nervously, "Ma’am, it looks like he is not around."
"What?! What do you an by that?!" Alix asked as she took a few steps closer to her. The servant was scared and imdiately backed away while replying to her question.
"I knocked several tis and called out to him by there was no response."
"Get out!!!" Alix scread angrily, and the servant ran away in fear.
Alix was as confused as anything at the mont. Her heartbeat couldn’t stop palpitating, as she was as afraid that everything she has worked so hard for, was crashing down with speed.
Alix was frustrated that she almost forgot to dial Carlos’s number, but when she did so, it wasn’t reachable. Out of anger, she threw her phone away and imdiately picked up her nightti before leaving the house.
"Carlos where are you?! Are you ignoring now?!!!" Alix scread in tears as she banged on his door, but there was no response.
’Did he run away?’ She thought as she rushed back into her house, after the failed attempts of looking for Carlos.
Alix thought that Carlos was avoiding her after what he earned her about cane to pass. She thought he blocked her from contacting her and went sowhere else to hide from her.
What Alix didn’t know was that Carlos had gone very far! He didn’t just go to hide from her, he had already chosen to live her life.
Alix only found out about Carlos going back to his ho country after she managed to get her husband on phone. When she called him, she didn’t bother explaining anything to him, instead, she said with a hurried tone...
"Please can you help reach Carlos, it’s urgent and he has been avoiding my calls! Tell him to call imdiately."
"Isn’t Carlos on his way back? Did he cancel his flight?" Mr. Suarez asked, a bit confused by her request.
Alix thought she didn’t hear well, because Carlos never ntioned anything about booking a flight. Although they had an argunt and he said he was going to leave, she didn’t believe him.
Well, even if he was serious about it, at least he should have inford her, but he didn’t, he had to shock her by abandoning her, and now, she can’t reach out to him.
Mr. Suarez was able to detect the urgency mixed with worry in Alix’s voice, and so he asked what was going on, only to learn that her company was facing a serious problem just a few hours before their product launched.
"I don’t have much to say to you. I can only give you one piece of advice, cancel LIXX’s product launching and file for bankruptcy because you are already bankrupt. Next, sell your company and use the money to settle the everyone you are owning and co back ho. If you co back within 2 weeks, I can still take care of you." Mr. Suarez instructed.
This would be the last ti he will ever try to help her or advise her based on LIXX’s issue. If she doesn’t listen to him this ti around, then he will leave her fate to her hands and no longer care for her.
How could Alix easily take his advice? This ans that she was surrendering and losing everything she worked so hard for! How could she accept it?
Even when she was already standing inside the hole she dug for herself, Alix still let her pride control her.
After the call with her husband was disconnected, she threw her phone on the floor, and went on a rampage, destroying everything she could lat her hands on.
She scared her little child with her screaming and breaking a lot of things, prompting him to cry. How crazy was Alix that she would go about scolding a baby and even asking his Nanny to get him to shut up or she would throw all of them out of the house.
The Nanny was scared that Alix would do sothing to the child, so she took permission to take him outside for a walk. Alix didn’t care and sent them out.
With what was happening to her at the fastest pace, there was nothing to ponder about. LIXX couldn’t deny the rumors going on on the internet, they also couldn’t release a statent because they would be attacked by the angry people asking for a refund.
Alix was heartbroken while asking her team to post an announcent on their official social dia pages, canceling their event for the day.
’It is unfortunate and it is with regret that we announce that LIXX’s product launching will no longer hold today’
Just as Alix thought, she and her company were imdiately under cyber-attack 5 seconds after the announcent was out up.
Many people were calling her out and asking that she be punished for deceiving them and also using ixu to promote her products.
"This woman is so shaless! How did she have the guts to ss with a mber of the Fu family and think there wouldn’t be a repercussion!!"
"Alix is a trickster! She deliberately hid her identity from us after the insults and embarrassnt she brought to us, now she wants to do business here!!"
"Shouldn’t the authorities do sothing about this woman? She has to refund my money, I am no longer interested in the products!!"
"Alix, refund us all of our money!!!"
All the models and influencers that LIXX paid to influence their products and advertise for them, all took down any post related to them and released an apology to everyone saying that they were sorry for working for LIXX without knowing that Alix was the real owner.
Alix did not have any appetite. She checked her phone to see that it was still working, and then she contacted her workers and asked them to stay out and wait for her instructions. She also asked them to take care of the event they had planned, and cancel so many things as soon as possible, before turning off her phone.
Now all by herself, Alix had one thought going on in her head, and that is, she must deal with Fu Hua because he was the one that exposed this secret of hers.
"Fu Hua, you just wait!"
