Chapter 616 – Approval Of The FJ Board Of Directors
"Your daddy took you to FJ?" Jia Li asked in surprise as she didn’t expect Fu Hua to take her there.
"Yes," Jasmine replied with a big smile. The little girl seems to recall her first experiences in FJ.
Jia Li smiled and spoke more with her, even asking if she was given any howork. Jasmine nodded and said she has already done it.
Towards the end of the conversation, Jasmine asked when she would co back and she replied, "On Monday. I will co to pick you up from school."
August was a month for long Vacation for pupils students of Junior and Senior High school, but Jasmine’s school was different. They made a provision so that busy parents could have sowhere to keep their children, and that was optional.
The only difference was that the school starts at 9 am and ends by 12 pm – 1 pm.
During the weekend, Fu Hua took care of his daughter and spent a lot of ti with her since her mother was absent. He also didn’t forget to finish Jia Li’s proposal, and now had to edit for Monday to reach, so he could present it to the board of directors and get their approval.
Not only was Fu Hua doing these two tasks, but there was also another major task he was handling, and that was the investigation on Feng Alix and her lawyer lover, Carlos.
The deeper the investigation went, the more secrets he found out, and the more he had to continue because he was after closing her chapter and frustrating her plans.
On Sunday evening, Fu Hua ca to find out about Alix being the owner of LIXX that would officially launch their costic products in a week.
He also ca to know from the investigations that Alix was hiding her identity and didn’t want anybody to know her relationship with the new company and for reason, Fu Hua was well aware of that.
The first secret he found out about Alix was that she dated Carlos before, she t her husband, and that Carlos was still working for the Suarez family.
With the kind of relationship they (Alix and Carlos) had in the past, and knowing fully well what LIXX was capable of doing with her current lifestyle, Fu Hua refused to believe that she didn’t have any absurd relationship going with Carlos, and he decided to continue investigating it.
The result for that may take ti, but he didn’t have to wait for it when he could start frustrating her with the little ones he had of her.
Now that Fu Hua had gotten a hold of the evidence of Alix being the owner of LIXX, he was going to give her a good surprise at the right ti.
The next day being Monday, Fu Hua personally got his little princess ready for school. He fed her during breakfast before dropping her off at school.
Fu Hua kissed the little girl’s cheeks before handing her over to her teacher and leaving. Jasmine waved to her father will he was out of sight.
The board of directors eting being held at FJ by 10 AM, was organized by Fu Hua to talk about so important matters of the company, and also Jia Li’s proposal.
No board of directors did not know Jia Li, because before they knew her as Fu Hua’s wife, she was a promising designer to them, who they had wanted to scout imdiately after her graduation.
With a lot of things being considered now, including her popularity, creativity, and stronghold, she was being considered. But there was a male director who posed one question.
"Can her brand survive the turbulent period?"
Fu Hua faced the director and replied as FJ’s Boss and not as Jia Li’s husband, "It will depend on her capabilities and FJ’s support system."
Fu Hua’s reply really surprised them all, because he was not being emotional, but was taking decisions in the rational sense.
He didn’t try to pet her, as he understood the principles of the business world, and this was the reason they trusted him.
"Any more questions?" Fu Hua asked as he glanced at each of the directors with a calm gaze. He didn’t look offended in any way.
There were no more questions poised concerning Jia Li having her own brand and collaborating with FJ, so the deal was signed.
After the eting with the board of directors, Fu Hua t with the heads of departnts and briefed them about Jia Li’s new plans, so thru could get ready to support her when she cos back.
Sunny was surprised that Jia Li would start her brand soon, even though she has always known that she was capable of that task. What she was surprised about that, was the ti she wanted to launch. She didn’t think it was advisable if she was not ready.
But sowhere in her heart, a part of her told her that She could do it, and if she was Jia Li’s big boss, she would make sure she achieves the goal set for her.
Now that the leaders of FJ were aware and approved of Jia Li’s new brand and were out to support her, what remains was for Jia Li to co back and comnce with her plans and work.
Like Jia Li said to her little daughter, she would be back on Monday, and she made sure to co back on ti today, so she could make it to pick her up from school.
When Jia Li ca back and imdiately wanted to go and pick the little girl up from school, Fu Hee was worried and asked her to rest after the long flight, while another person goes to pick her up, but Jia Li refuted her words.
"Mum, I promised Jasmine to pick her up from school today, so I can’t go back on my words. That will make a liar if I don’t go, and I can’t teach her that."
Since Jia Li has said it this way, how could Fu Hee stop her? Fu Hee could only pat her back and ask her to go.
"Thank you, Mum!" Jia Li said with a smile before turning to leave.
