Chapter 57 - Jia Li Joins The Fu Family For Dinner

At last, Jia Li followed her mind and ate the much she could.

Later, just as her servant said, she ca back to record the foods she liked.

When she ca in, she glanced at the food tray to record the food Jia Li ate the most. When she was done, she handed the book and pen to Jia Li.

"Miss, apart from these foods, which one do you like? Also, put down the food you are allergic to if any."

Jia Li took the book and glanced over it. She was surprised the servant was smart. She was able to record accurately, the food she liked most.

Jia Li didn't need to ask how she knew about it, because her brain was sharp as well.

Jia Li wrote the food she liked eating, and the food she was allergic to, and then gave the book back to her.

When the servant turned to leave, Jia Li stopped her.

"Where is Grandfather Fu, I have sothing to give to him." Jia Li said to her.

She just rembered the tonics her parents gave to her for the old man.

"That? I will ask Butler Gu." The servant said as she rolled the food cart out of the room.

When the servant left, Jia Li felt bored and didn't know what to do again, so she decided to pick her sketchbook to see if she could get inspiration.

She searched her luggage and the walk-in closet, but she didn't find her sketching materials.

She beca apprehensive. That sketchbook was important to her.

"If it's not here, then where is it?!." Jia Li muttered to herself.

As for the servant, after she notified Butler Gu about Jia Li, he gave her the ti for Jia Li to co and see the old man.

The servant returned to the room, to pass the ssage back to Jia Li, only to see the frantic expression on her face.

"Miss, what is it?." The servant asked.

"Did you see my sketch materials?." Jia Li asked hurriedly.

"Yes. I kept them away in the small shelf there." The servant replied as she walked towards the small shelf in the room to retrieve her sketch materials.

Jia Li sighed in relief when her sketch materials were finally in her hands.

"I'm sorry Miss." The servant said. She saw her worried Jia Li was, and how happy she beca when she faces the things with her.

"There's no problem." Jia Li said.

The servant smiled and then inford her of the one to et Grandfather Fu.

"... I will co to get you once it's ti." The servant said to her.

"Alright, thank you!." Jia Li said to her with a smile.

When the servant left, she heaved a sigh of relief and went to the desk with her materials to begin sketching.

Fu Hee was the first to co back ho. She went had to attend. While Fu ChunHua went to the spa.

The two won almost arrived at the sa ti. Since they've been snubbing and staying away from each other, so there was no cause for alarm.

The two won ignored each other. But their attention was grabbed by Butler Gu who walked towards them and bowed in greeting.

"Has Father's distinguished guest co?." Fu ChunHua asked.

"Yes, she arrived so hours ago. She is currently resting in her room." Butler Gu replied.

"I hope Father is not annoyed that I wasn't around to welco her?." Fu Hee asked.

"Old Mr. Fu understands the situation. Excuse , Madams." Butler Gu said to them with a bow, and then he left their sight.

"It looks like Soone will be punished if care is not taken." Fu ChunHua said as she walked away.

Fu Hee scoffed and went her way as well. There was no way she was going to waste her breath on that woman!

Fu Hee went to the kitchen to check on things, as it was nearing the ti for dinner preparation.

There was a guest, so there must not be any room for mistakes.

When the hour reached, Jia Li was called into Grandfather Fu's study.

"Jia Li, co and sit over here." Grandfather Fu said to her with a kind smile.

Jia Li simply glanced at the Study that looked like the office of a Major General. She could sense a strong Aura, gently dissipating in the air.

Jia Li took a seat before the old man, and then passed the paper bag in her hands towards him, and Butler Gu took it from her and passed it to the Old man.

"Grandfather my parents prepared these health tonics for you."

Grandfather Fu took the bag with a gentle smile. He opened it and peeped to see what was inside.

Nodding in satisfaction, Grandfather Fu passed the paper bag back to Butler Gu and asked him to keep it in his bedroom.

"Jia Li, thank your Parents for ! I am very happy and I appreciate their concern about my health" Grandfather Fu said to her.

Jia Li smiled and only then did she start to relax. At first, she was scared that the tonics were cheap for him to accept. But seeing the old man look very happy with the gift, she beca happy as well.

Jia Li may not understand that Old Mr. Fu values gifts, no matter how cheap it is. Most of his family mbers think that he is wealthy enough to get anything he wants for himself, forgetting that he values appreciation and gifts.

Just like the way Fu ChunHua asked about his health but didn't give anything to show her concern.

Old Mr. Fu and Jia Li talked for a while and that conversation, making them bond again.

Jia Li answered all of the Old Man's questions, and they talked things in common, like arts.

At this ti, the rest of the Fu Family mbers were back and had already gone to the dining area for breakfast.

"Sir, dinner is served!." Butler Gu ca in and announced.

"Jia Li, co with , I will introduce you to my family." Old Mr. Fu said as Jia Li took his hand, while Butler Fu led the way to the dining area.

As Jia Li approached the dining area with the Old man, all eyes turned towards their direction.
