Chapter 550 - Alix Is Pregnant
Alix is pregnant.
Their family doctor confird it after Alix fainted and was called over.
Why did she faint, how did she faint?
Alix knew her plans like the back of palms. She was expecting to be pregnant, so she bought a pregnancy test ahead of ti while waiting for the right opportunity to make use of it.
It was not yet ti for her period for that month to co but she used the pregnancy test kit on herself after a few weeks and it turned out positive.
She was elated not because of the baby she was carrying but because of what she would use it for.
After confirming that she was pregnant, she didn't announce it and instead kept mute about it while waiting for the opportunity to announce it in an unusual way.
The next day, Mr. Suarez called everyone to talk about his will which would be sent over soon but will only be read out when he dies to avoid fights while he was still alive.
During the eting, Mr. Suarez ntioned the shares. He had said that Alix will not inherit any shares but will not lack money and a place to stay after his death.
Alix who already appeared frail shot u from her seat and started screaming at Mr. Suarez while pointing fingers at him to the anger of the remaining mbers of the family.
Mr. Surez's only daughter could not condole her acts and imdiately slapped her hard on her face.
There was dead silence after the slap was perfectly delivered but sothing happened.
"Did you just slap ?" Alix asked in shock while holding her left cheek. Just now after she was slapped, she felt a little dizzy and staggered a bit, while feeling that head was moving on its own.
"And I will do it again. How dare a greedy bitch like you insult my father, have you gone nuts?" The woman asked.
Alix glanced angrily at her and said, "How dare you hit , have you forgotten that I am your mother by my marriage to your father?"
Another slap was delivered to her face right after she said that. Mr. Suarez who had had enough of what was going on asked them to stop but nobody listened to him.
"You ugly hag, how dare you to hit again?" Alix said as she lounged towards the woman but the woman seed to still be agitated, so she pushed her away.
Alix fell directly on the floor but never got back again. Everyone thought she was pretending including Mr. Suarez who had already gotten to his feet in anger.
"Why did you push her, quickly help her up!" Mr. Suarez instructed in an angry tone.
"Father, why would I help her up, she can help herself up whenever she is done resting." The won said and looked away.
"Don't you want any inheritance anymore?" Mr. Suarez threatened. The woman was forced to go to Alix's side.
She kicked her legs and asked, "Are you not going to get up?" But Alix did move an inch.
"Her drama is getting out of hand." One of Mr. Suarez's grandchildren said.
Mr. Suarez who was impatient from his daughter's sluggish acts ca forward and pushed her away, before calling Alix while shaking her body but there was no response.
Afraid that sothing serious might have happened to her, the old man panicked and imdiately turned her over, only to see that her eyes were shut and there was no movent from her.
The rest of the family were shocked and imdiately got up from their seats.
"What happened to her, is she dead?" One of them asked in horror.
"Hurry up and call the doctor, her breath is faint!" Mr. Suarez roared and his order was imdiately carried out.
The woman who pushed Alix down was very scared of killing soone. Luckily, her daughter helped her to sit back in her seat.
'Anyway, we are rich and can cover up her death if she really dies here' The woman thought, as she can't spend the rest of her life in prison. In the worst case, she could put the bla on a servant.
Their family doctor arrived soon and sent everyone out of Alix's bedroom before doing so checkups and connecting a drip to her, while the Suarez family, actually those that cared about her life, waited outside of her room along with Mr. Suarez.
After what felt like several minutes, the doctor finally stepped out of the room with a frown on his face.
"How is she?" Mr. Suarez asked.
"She is out of danger now. How did she fall?" The doctor asked.
Without wasting ti, Mr. Suarez summarized why happened. "She got into a fight."
"How can a woman in the first stage of pregnancy get into a fight?" The doctor asked to the surprise of everyone.
"Doctor, what do you an?" One of Mr. Suarez's sons asked.
"Ms. Alix is pregnant but right now, the fetus is unstable because of the fight and she needs to at least have a week of bed rest. I will write a list of drugs she would have to be taking and a diet plan she must strictly follow to help with the fetus developnt." The Doctor said.
Mr. Suarez and his family were still in shock with the news of Alix's pregnancy but Mr. Suarez was quick to recover from his shock. He smiled and shook his hands with the doctor before asking one of his sons to take the doctor to sit sowhere, so he could relax and write the list of drugs and the diet Alix would strictly follow.
"Doctor can I see her?" Mr. Suarez asked with a mix of emotions.
"She is in a deep sleep but you can go in and see her. The nurse will be there to look after her till she wakes up."
The doctor had co with a nurse who would stay by Alix's side till she regains consciousness.
Mr. Suarez thanked the doctor again before going into Alix's bedroom.
When Alix woke up, she seed a bit out of it.. There was a huge frown sitting on her face as she tried to sit up.
