Chapter 530 - Introduction
YingPei brought Daiyu to his family's table and introduced her to them.
"Grandfather, this is Daiyu, she is one of Jia Li's good friends and now, we are friends as well." As YingPei said this, there was a big smile on his face.
He didn't want to outrightly say that Daiyu was his girlfriend because she was not. But introducing her that way would give them ideas that were good enough.
As he introduced her, Daiyu bowed in greeting to Grandfather Fu and the rest of the family mbers sitting there.
"Is she your girlfriend?" Fu ChunHua asked with a smile as the other family mbers looked on.
YingPei thought for a short while before replying, "You can say that."
He was going on a date with Daiyu the next day, so it wouldn't be wrong to say she was his girlfriend. And besides, she agreed to date him.
After introducing her to his family, he took her hand and left.
"Why did he choose to date Jia Li's friend, is he trying to play so tricks here?" Fu Lei asked with a frown.
Grandfather Fu who has not said a word since YingPei ca and left, replied, "He doesn't dare to play tricks with his sister-in-law's friend. But if he dares, I will cut off his legs."
"It will be good if he is serious this ti around." Fu Hee said.
Fu Ling who just saw YingPei introduce a woman to the family, turned to glance at his assistant before saying to her, "Today, your role is my girlfriend. I'm going to introduce you to my family now."
"What!" His assistant exclaid in shock. This was a weird role and not just that, he was going to introduce her to his family as his fake girlfriend.
Fu Ling said to her, "I know this is a surprise to you but you just have to do this for and I will give you a raise in your salary this month."
"Sir, this is not about money. I am your assistant and this might affect my work ethic." His assistant said with a slight smile.
"I trust that you are a professional and can handle your work well. Why else do you think I would send you an outfit for today when I haven't done that before? Your job is to be my fake girlfriend in front of my family." Fu Ling said with a serious gaze on her.
His personal assistant was shocked by all of this but she still asked, "Can I say no to this?"
"You can't refuse when you have already worn my dress and co to my cousin's wedding." Fu Ling said to her with raised brows.
Before she could reply to him and tell him that she wouldn't have agreed to be his partner for the wedding if she knew about this matter, he took her hand and dragged her towards his family's table.
"You don't need to speak if you are not given permission to." Fu Ling reminded her. What more could she say? It's not like she could say 'no' to him.
When Fu Ling brought his personal assistant over and introduced her to them, Grandfather Fu asked, "How did you et her?"
Fu Ling glanced at his partner and said replied, "She is my personal assistant."
"She is your employee?" Fu ChunHua asked with raised brows. She was surprised that her son would choose to date his employee.
"Did you choose to date her because it's convenient?" Grandfather Fu asked.
The reason he asked that question was since Fu Ling chose to date his personal assistant, it must be because she was working for him and it was easier to pick her since he didn't have to go the extra mile to choose another lady.
Fu Ling's assistant was nervous about eting the Fu family mbers. She didn't co from a rich family and it was her luck that she beca the personal assistant of her current boss and also thanks to her work performance.
She was already on tenterhooks each day catering for her Boss who was a mber of one of the most influential families in the country. And now standing before the entire Fu family made her nervous and uncomfortable.
Luckily, she had work experience in dealing with important clients, so she just took the Fu family as important clients she must impress.
"Grandfather, you know I'm very busy and don't have the ti to explore, so I just picked what was in front of and it turned out to be good." Ling replied.
Grandfather Fu waved his hands which was a sign to ask them to leave. After they left, Fu Juan asked about his opinion on the ladies that were brought to them.
"Father, what do you think about the ladies YingPei and Ling brought over?"
Grandfather Fu replied with his gaze on her, "That Lady YingPei brought over can't be bullied by him because she has a strong personality and it looks like YingPei would be the one to be bullied instead. As For Ling, he has a similar personality to Hua and the lady he brought over had Jia Li's personality and she would end up being neglected and bullied if she really loves Ling."
"Father, why do you say that about Ling?" Fu Geming asked with curiosity.
"Ling doesn't look like he is interested in dating anyone now, so he might neglect her since he was forced to date. And if she likes him, she will be hurt but she might obediently continue to stay at his side." Grandfather Fu replied.
Grandfather Fu was already aware of what kind of personality his grandsons have and when they brought over the ladies they claid were their girlfriends, he already assessed them.
After they left the table, Fu Ling let go of his partner's hand.
"Boss, I will take my leave now." She said to him.
"Mmm... go ahead." Fu Ling said to her.. He stood there and watched her leave before turning to walk away, only to et YingPei along the way, staring at him with a smile.
