Chapter 415 - Friends? I Don't Need Them
FangSu was scared of getting scolded and imdiately got up with the little bun in her arms.
"Grandfather, I'm sorry, we need to leave now."
Before the old man could react, FangSu had already run away with the little bun. After escaping from her grandfather, FangSu gave the little bun an unwrapped lollipop to play with, in other to placate her.
When Jia Li saw her daughter's red lips and tongue, she pinched the little bun's cheeks and asked her what she has been eating.
"Jasmine, what did you eat?." Jia Li asked with a frown.
"Madam, I think Miss FangSu gave her lollipop." Mrs. Zu said from the side. She shouldn't have trusted FangSu for a bit.
"Lollipop?." Jia Li asked before glancing at the little bun in her arms who was busy licking the unopened lollipop in her hand.
Jia Li decided to snatch it from her while saying, "Day Xia you can't eat that". But the little bun started crying and reached out to snatch the lollipop from her hand before she cald down.
Jia Li tried giving the little bun milk, but she refused as her interest was solely on the lollipop she was playing with.
Jia Li didn't want to let her have it, so she turned on a baby song on the Tv and placed Jasmine on the floor so she could watch it. Slowly, the little bun's interest was divided and later, when she was lost while clapping her hands and babbling along, Jia Li stole her sweet and escaped unnoticed.
When the little bun rembered her sweet and turned around to take it, she didn't find it again. The little bun was surprised for a bit before getting on her hands and knees to crawl around in search of it, but she didn't find it. In the end, she gave up and moved her attention back to the TV.
As hours turned to days, it ca to the day the young people of the social class decided to et up at the club to drink, dance, and have fun. This was FangSu's social circle, and so she participated in the event since she wasn't busy. Zhang Junjie told her beforehand that he would be out of the city for a few days, so he wouldn't be joining them.
When everyone turned that there was no one left, Bai Jun surprised them with her appearance.
"What the hell is she doing here?." Ah Lam asked with a deep frown.
"I think I should be the one asking that question?." FangSu said with her gaze on Bai Jun who was taking her ti to walk up to them.
"We already know that she has a thick face, and would definitely show up, and besides she is still on our group chat," MingXia said with a disgusted look.
"I can't stand her shalessness, I'm going to remove her from the group right now." Another person said and imdiately took out her phone.
At last, Bai Jun appeared before them with a big smile on her face.
"As expected of the shaless one to appear where she is not welcod." mind is said as she looked away.
Bai Jun heard her clearly and smiled, "You are thinking too much. I didn't co here to join in your aningless conversation. I have been here for almost 20 minutes now, having fun without any of you. I just ca to see how you girls have been holding up."
"Shouldn't we be the ones worrying about you? I an getting married to soone you don't even like, is enough to tell that you are living an ugly life." FangSu said to her.
"A life without friends must be a terrible one for you." Ah Lam chipped in.
Bai Jun chuckled and replied, "Friends, I don't need them, especially people of your kind. Anyway, I just ca to inform you all to enjoy tonight."
"You should enjoy your night alone." One of them retorted, and Bai Jun smiled and walked away. She didn't have to explain anymore to them.
"What a bitch, always showing off!." One of the cursed.
"There is no need to mind her, let's make our order," FangSu said with a smile.
Ah Lam called a waiter over, and everyone placed their drink orders and chatted happily while waiting for it.
Bai Jun saw the waiter the called over and followed him slowly after he left their table. Now, Bai Jun had a big bottle of the ladies' favorite drink in her hand as she approached the waiter who was currently placing a drink order and waiting to collect it from the bartender.
Imdiately the waiter received the sa drink Bai Jun had in her hand and put it on the trolley, Baj Jun pretended to miss a step, and the phone in her hand slipped and fell beside the waiter.
The waiter was scared that he had caused an accident because big shots and people from prominent families usually ca to their club, and he was afraid of offending anybody.
Imdiately the waiter finished apologizing to her, and lowered his back to pick up her phone, Bai Jun switched the drink.
"Miss I'm so sorry, your phone didn't crack." The waiter said in a nervous tone as he handed the phone back to Bai Jun.
Bai Jun took it from him and feigned anger. "If it was my drink that fell, I would have closed down this club."
The waiter was frightened by the threat and imdiately apologized again before Bai Jun allowed him to leave.
There was a big smile on Bai Jun's face at her success in switching the drink. "Now, all I need to do is just to sit, wait and watch." Bai Jun said to herself as a smirk turned up on her lips.
When their drink order arrived, the girls imdiately cheered up and watched as the waiter popped open the drink and poured a little quantity into their glasses.
"Cheers!." The girls said as they clinked glances before drinking from it.
In one of the rooms upstairs, Fu ixu was present with her company's director and other big celebrities including Zhi Ruo.
The director decided to take them out for drinks and to thank them for their hard work.
"...thank you for your hard work, and hope you will continue to put in more effort." The director said with a proud smile.
"Director, you are wrong, there is soone here who doesn't work hard anymore, so I don't think she should be here in the first place.." Fu ixu said with a smiling gaze on Zhi Ruo.
