Chapter 408 - Jia Li Lies To Get Away
"Of course Boss, it's Ma'am that made the arrangent. Without your permission, who dares to do this to your office?." Zimo said with a proud smile. He was very happy that he was part of the surprise.
Fu Hua felt so sweet that Jia Li planned a wonderful surprise for him. Walking up to his desk, he picked up the bouquet and glanced at it before turning to his assistant to ask, "Do won give n flowers? This seems weird."
"Boss, it happens, it's just rare," Zimo replied with a smile.
"You can leave." Fu Hua said to him as he went to sit down????. His gaze couldn't leave the decors and other preparations his wife made for him.
When Zimo left Fu Hua's office, He imdiately texted Jia Li. 'Mission successful'
Soon, everyone heard that the hidden wife of their Cold Boss prepared a surprise to celebrate their Boss's birthday. Most of them were not sure, but the rumors were already spreading all over in FJ.
Imagine what Bai Jun who was just scolded and so points deducted from her, did when sue heard of the rumors. She glanced at Jia Li with a death gaze.
She could tell that Jia Li dressed up so beautifully on purpose because today was Fu Hua's birthday. And letting her hair down, made her look more attractive, so Bai Jun was jealous. She was having a bad morning, while soone was having a good day.
Close to the ti for a lunch break, Jia Li went into Sunny's office to report sothing to her.
"Miss Sunny, the Boss's assistant Mr. Zimo asked to co over to verify a docunt we submitted to the Big Boss yesterday." Jia Li lied with a straight face.
Jia Li couldn't wait to see Fu Hua and hug him while giving him plenty of kisses, so she had to lie just so she could get to see him. She was really becoming very bold.
Sunny who already had a file in her hand, glanced at Jia Li in surprise. She felt that Jia Li looked so different today, but she didn't think too much about it.
Jia Li, on the other hand, thought that Sunny was sensing fishy, and beca tensed. She imdiately took the file from Sunny as she said to her in a polite tone, "Miss Sunny, do you also want to give this to the Boss? Since I'm going to see him, I will help you submit it."
As Jia Li was saying that, she was already taking the file from Sunny, and after that, she turned to leave imdiately, but Sunny who was taken aback, imdiately called out to her.
"When did I say you could leave?." Sunny questioned with her fists on her jaw while gazing at Jia Li.
Her question made Jia Li to think that sothing serious was already up. She thought she had been found out, and so took a deep breath and turned around, before lowering her gaze to apologize first.
"I'm sorry. I was in a hurry to submit the file and co back to continue with my work."
Sunny who had her thoughts on a different matter said to Jia Li, "I know this sounds childish, but can you take a picture of the Boss's office, so I can see how romantic his wife is."
With the rumors spreading regarding the hidden wife and the surprise she made for their Boss, Sunny was equally curious just like every other worker in the matter, and this was weird for her to make that kind of request, but it was rare for her to show interests in the matters related to their Boss's we hidden wife.
Jia Li was truly surprised by Sunny's request. But because of the latter's serious facial expression, Jia Li could not afford to laugh, because her request was weird.
"I will, Miss Sunny." Jia Li assured her with a polite smile, and only then did Sunny allow her to leave.
Jia Li was more proud of herself that she was able to tell such a lie to Sunny and go away safely. But if you ask her if she has any plans about taking this kind of risk again, she wouldn't want to think about it.
Walking into Fu Hua's office with a file in her hand after the door was opened by Zimo who was also coming over to give sothing to Fu Hua.
Fu Hua who had a telephone in his hand, and was about to dial ?? a number, slowly put the telephone down and sighed in relief when he saw Jia Li.
"I was about calling Sunny to send you up here if you didn't appear now." Fu Hua revealed as he opened his arms.
He couldn't allow the fact that his wife who planned all these for him, would not co up once, to at least drink with him or cut his cake with him so he was about calling Sunny to ask Jia Li to co up with one reason on the other before Jia Li appeared before him.
"I'm here now, you don't need to worry too much." Jia Li said with a smile as she looked around his office to admire the decors. She was the one that chose the colors for everything in there, but just was the first ti being opportune to see the designs after they were assembled.
Zimo knew that it was ti to go away, so he smiled and walked away silently.
"I love all of these, when did you have ti to prepare all these?." Fu Hua asked.
"I was my just with the planning during last weekend." Jia Li said with a wink.
"Co here." Fu Hua said as he gestured for her to co over to his side, and so Jia Li obediently went over.
Pulling her to sit on his thighs, Fu Hua kissed her lips and thanked her for the surprise. Jia Li didn't need him to thank her, so she blocked his mouth with her lips and kissed him deeply.
It took a while before they separated, and they were already out of breath by them.
