Chapter 404 - Out For A Cup Of Coffee
"You never asked, and out of my benevolence, I wanted to tell you about it, but you ran to get dressed, so who am I to stop you with just a few words? I didn't want to disrupt your peace." Fangsu said with her eyes on the road. She was really having fun seeing Fu ixu's ugly facial expression.
"Really?." Fu ixu asked with an unbelievable gaze on her. She was so angry right now that Fangsu deceived her.
"I'm serious. Don't worry, no harm will co to you. I just want to et my brother to apologize to him, that's all." FangSu said while sparing her a glance.
"No harm will co to ? Are you for real, don't you know how scary your brother is? I really admire your confidence. You are not sure of your safety, and you are already assuring of mine." Fu ixu said as she looked away angrily.
"Heh! don't scare , or we will both get into trouble," FangSu said in a nervous tone after being reminded of how scary her brother could be when he was angry.
"Minutes later, FangSu and Fu ixu arrived at FJ's underground parking lot. After turning off the car's engine, Fangsu sighed while glancing at her surroundings.
Fu ixu opened the car door and stepped out, but when she turned around, FangSu was not making any move, so she asked with a frown, " Work hours just ended, are you waiting for your brother Hua to arrive before you step out if the car like a proud little princess that you are?."
Being reminded of what she ca to do, FangSu took a deep breath before stepping out of the car.
15 minutes into waiting, FangSu saw Jia Li coming out of the elevator, abd it was obvious that she was about to leave work.
"Jia Li is out, let's go and say 'hello' to her." Fu ixu said with an excited gaze as she watched Jia Li walk towards their side, but it was obvious that the latter had not seen them yet.
"I didn't co here for her," FangSu said with a frown. What she felt towards Jia Li was imnse guilt, while she felt fear for her brother, given all the evil she had done to them.
"You want to apologize to your brother? Then you have to do it through his wife. It is easier to get through your sister-in-law's heart, than your brother's heart. Go and apologize to her, then the road leading to your brother's heart will open up a little." Fu ixu advised.
"But I'm also afraid of her," FangSu revealed.
Fu ixu rolled her eyes at her and said, "I never knew there were people you feared. Let's go and greet her before you miss this opportunity."
Before FangSu could protest a little, Fu ixu had already called out to Jia Li, while pushing her to the front.
'This girl!' FangSu exclaid in her mind.
Jia Li heard her na being called, so she glanced around to see who it was. Jia Li was surprised to see Fu ixu and FangSu standing together. Last she rembered, those two were enemies. But that's not the point, the point, is what were they doing in FJ's underground parking lot?
"Jia Li, how are you?." Fu ixu greeted in excitent as she dragged FangSu to et her close to her car.
"I'm fine and you, sister ixu?." Jia Li asked with a smile.
"I'm fine." Fu ixu replied as she secretly pinched FangSu as a reminder for her to greet Jia Li.
"Hello, Jia... Sis... sister-in-law." FangSu greeted in a small tone.
Jia Li glanced at her in surprise. She was really taken aback that she took the initiative to speak to her, and it started with a greeting.
"Hello!." Jia Li replied.
FangSu found the scenario awkward, and she didn't know how to continue until she received another pinch from Fu ixu who was smiling harmlessly, and only then did she speak out.
"Sister-in-law, I'm sorry for everything I have done to you, please forgive ," FangSu said with her head down.
Jia Li released a deep breath and said to her in a low tone, while being surprised that she was apologizing to her, "It's okay."
After saying that, Jia Li walked forward to open her car, but Fu ixu caught her arms and smiled sheepishly.
"Jia Li, can I invite you for a quick cup of coffee?." Fu ixu requested with a smile.
Fu ixu knew that Jia Li had not really forgiven FangSu, and just said that because she had to. FangSu dropped her pride to apologize, and knowing Jia Li, she would accept the apology, but won't try to get close to the person, so Fu ixu knew that she had to but so of her ti.
Even FangSu could tell that Jia Li had not forgiven her, and as she didn't know what next to do, she could only watch her walk away.
Jia Li was in a dilemma at Fu ixu's request. "I need to get back ho on ti, Mum has been taking care of Jasmine since I left in the morning."
"Actually we ca to see you. Don't worry, you just have to sit with us to have a cup of coffee, and then we will bring you back here." Fu ixu assured her with a smile.
Seeing that Fu ixu was putting in a lot of effort for her, FangSu quickly chipped in, "We promise not to waste your ti."
Jia Li glanced at the two young ladies of the Fu family, before agreeing to follow them out.
"Thank you!." Fu ixu and FangSu chorused happily.
Fu ixu quickly pulled Jia Li towards FangSu's car, while the latter walked ahead to unlock the car door for them.
When Fu Hua ca out to leave in his car, he was surprised to see Jia Li's car still parked in the underground parking lot.
'Is she still working?.' Fu Hua thought as he picked up his phone to call Zimo so he could check on Jia Li.
When Zimo confird from Sunny that Jia Li had already left work so minutes ago, and reported it to Fu Hua, Fu Hua beca worried and dialed Jia Li's number.
Jia Li was already at the cafe with FangSu and Fu ixu when Fu Hua called, so she excused herself to answer the call.
"Are you okay? where are you?." Fu Hua asked in a worried tone.
"I'm fine, I went out with soone. I will be back soon." Jia Li replied after sensing the worry in his tone.
"I will wait for you in the underground parking lot.." Fu Hua said to her.
