Chapter 343 - He Took In All Of Her Reactions
Fu Hua couldn't guess why she wasn't saying anything, nevertheless, he continued...
"About the competition, you can join if you want to."
After saying that, Fu Hua glanced back at the little bun who has been babbling continuously. He smiled at her and held her small hand for a while, before letting go and turning to leave, but Jasmine started wailing. She wanted him to hold her.
Jia Li was still surprised that Fu Hua agreed to let her join the competition after apologizing. At first, she thought he may want to go on to talk things out with her or maybe try and convince her not to join, but he surprised her.
"I will take her with ." Fu Hua said to Jia Li as he stretched his hand to carry the little bun from her.
Jia Li ca back to her senses and whispered in a soft tone, "Thank you!."
"It doesn't matter. You can get so rest, I will spend so ti with her." Fu Hua replied before walking away.
'Are things not a little bit awkward between us?.' Jia Li said in a frown as she thought about the first ti she was getting to know Fu Hua after they got married. She felt their relationship has returned to the Origins.
Fu Hua carried his daughter to his bedroom and placed her on the bed and took off his cufflinks and shirt, while the little girl watched him in excitent.
Jasmine was really happy to see her father, as she babbled on with her fingers in her mouth.
"Princess, were you obedient to your mother while I was away?." Fu Hua asked with a gentle gaze.
The little girl smiled and continued to play with her fingers.
Fu Hua wanted to change out of his trousers, and there was no way he would leave her alone in the bedroom, so he planned to carry her into the inner room to bring a change of clothes, but Jia Li ca to his rescue.
Jia Li knocked and walked into his bedroom, "I figured you would have trouble changing your clothes, so..."
"Thank you, that's exactly what I needed." Fu Hua said with a smile before glancing at the little girl and leaning over to say to her, "Princess, I'm going to have a quick shower, stay with your mum for the ti being."
Jasmine had a confused gaze as she watched her father walk away, and her mother co to her side.
Jia Li sat on the bed but didn't attempt to lift the little bun. Jasmine stared into her eyes for a while before stretching her arms towards her and kicking her legs.
"Now you want to hold you? Naughty girl." Jia Li said with a smile as she touched her nose.
At last, Jia Li lifted the little girl in her arms. The little bun was so obedient in her mother's embrace. Even when her father ca over, she didn't cry like before.
Fu Hua smiled as he carried the little girl. He planted kisses on her face before turning to Jia Li say, "I bought a new ride for you. You will need a car since you will be working in FJ."
"What! You bought a car for ?." Jia Li asked in surprise.
"Yes." Fu Hua answered.
"Thank you, but I don't know how to drive." Jia Li said in a dejected tone. She couldn't believe he bought a car for her, but she was happy. Right now, she seed to be a little disappointed as she didn't know how to drive.
"That is not a problem. You will start your driving classes next weekend. Every day, you will have 1 hour of practice for a week till the second week where you will have to practice for 3 hours daily." Fu Hua inford.
"Oh! Thank you!." Jia Li said with her head lowered.
"Co and check the car out and see if you like it." Fu Hua said with a smile as he led the way.
Jia Li quickly followed him, she was also curious to see the car he bought for her.
Seeing the black Range Rover Jeep with a big red ribbon ???? attached to it, Jia Li was amazed.
"This is for ?." Jia Li asked as she stared at Fu Hua in disbelief.
"Yes. " Fu Hua replied as he took out the car key and pressed a button to unlock the car before giving the key to her.
Jia Li took the car key from him and stared at it.
As she was not making a move, Fu Hua thought she didn't like the car and asked, "Don't you like the car? If you don't like it, I will..."
"I will check it out." Jia Li said in excitent as she ran towards the car. She circled it first, before going to the driver's side to open the door.
Jia Li looked wowed when she saw the exquisite interior decor. She almost scread in her head as she could guess how expensive the jeep was.
Fu Hua stood with the little bun in his arms as he took in all of Jia Li's reactions, and slowly, a smile ford on his lips.
Jia Li couldn't get over her excitent with her new car. She shocked Fu Hua when she ignited the engine.
Fu Hua was scared she would move the car and cause an accident, so he said in a raised tone so she could hear him, "Jia Li that's enough for the day, turn off the engine."
"Oh! Okay." Jia Li replied and turned off the car's engine before jumping off the car. She took quick steps towards Fu Hua and glanced at him with an appreciative gaze.
"Thank you for the car, I love it!." Jia Li said in a happy tone.
"That's fine. This is not the latest, so you shouldn't be worried anyone would confront you about it. At least they should be aware you made so good money working with FJ these few tis." Fu Hua whispered to her.
Jia Li smiled and didn't say anything. She was very happy about her new ride, and she couldn't wait to send a picture of it to her friends.
Slowly, things were no longer awkward between Jia Li and Fu Hua, after the forr apologized. They were back to their little happy family.
A few days later, FJ announced their idea for a competition for creative young fashion designers from any part of the world.
