Chapter 309 - Sister Zhi Ruo Would Mind
Zhi Ruo was the first to get to the company. She had a furious look on her face as she made her way in. Fu ixu's assistant saw her and quickly texted Fu ixu.
Fu ixu saw her phone screen brighten up and she glanced at the ssage within 2 seconds before smiling back at her director as if nothing happened.
5 minutes later, they had to conclude the eting, since Fu ixu said she had to use the restroom.
"Take care of your health these days and your skin. With the insurance you signed with those people, you're sure to rip a lot of benefits. When next are you going for your skin routine?" The director asked.
"Tomorrow." Fu ixu said with a smile.
A big company wanted her to advertise their products and run ads for them. And in order to get the perfect ambiance, they made a health and skin insurance, while they treated her to lots face massages and skin treatnt.
That company had in mind to make Fu ixu their brand ambassador for their products for 2 years that was a big deal for her.
Fu ixu was the only one that left the office, as the director and her manager had a few things to discuss and that was exactly what she wanted.
By the way, Shi Qiao had just arrived at the company with Fu ixu's bag and he was taken inside by Fu ixu's assistant.
"I hope ixu wouldn't mind that I'm coming to see her directly?" Shi Qiao asked her assistant with a smile.
"No, Sister ixu wouldn't mind at all. But Sister Zhi Ruo might mind." The assistant said grudgingly.
"Why would Zhi Ruo be annoyed, it's not like she is here." Shi Qiao said as they continued walking.
"Huh! Mr. Shi, you don't know? Sister Zhi Ruo walked in 3 minutes ago before you arrived." The assistant revealed with a confused gaze.
Shi Qiao was surprised but he didn't think much of the situation. "It doesn't matter, I will see ixu before going to see my Zhi Ruo."
Along the hallway where a few people would pass from ti to ti, Fu ixu t face to face with Zhi Ruo.
Since they were in the company, she had to feign like an obedient junior. She smiled and acted surprised when she saw Zhi Ruo.
"Senior Ruo, you're back so soon?" She asked as walked towards her with a surprised gaze.
"Why are you surprised? Did you wish that I would never co back so you would snatch my boyfriend?" Zhi Ruo asked in a furious tone.
Her voice was loud enough for any third party to hear her.
Fu ixu glanced around and pretended to be embarrassed after seeing a few people along the hallway.
Fu ixu saw two people raise their phones to record and she smiled inwardly. 'What a good day to cause a commotion!'
Fu ixu pretend to be embarrassed and said to Zhi Ruo in a soft tone. "Senior Ruo, please can you calm down. There is definitely a misunderstanding here."
"What? You can't speak louder anymore? What are you afraid of?" Zhi Ruo asked angrily with her gaze on her. She hated Fu ixu's guts and the fact that she was acting all innocent, provoked her further.
Zhi Ruo's assistant noticed that she was causing a scene and tried to stop but Zhi Ruo pushed her away.
Fu ixu looked as if she was in a dilemma before speaking up. "Sister Ruo, it's not what you think, everything is a misunderstanding! Mr. Shi and I are just friends."
"Just friends?" Zhi Ruo repeated after her and chuckled angrily before she continued, "Do you go on a night date with soone you call your friend and who has a girlfriend already?"
There were whispers from everyone that stood and watched them. They were all pointing fingers at her and a few cursed at her.
Fu ixu enjoyed the reaction but she pretended as if she wasn't seeing them.
"Sister Ruo, you were absent yesterday, so you don't know the full matter. Mr. Shi is just my friend and we only had dinner together, it wasn't a date. And besides, you denied dating him and always told us that he was your friend."
With her revelation, the bystanders glanced at Zhi Ruo with a weird gaze. So of them knew Shi Qiao as they have seen them together a few tis. Zhi Ruo always said he was her very good friend, who knew he was her boyfriend and she denied his existence.
Zhi Ruo's assistant knew that things were about to fall apart but she was more scared of getting hit by Zhi Ruo.
"And so what? Do I have to explain my privacy to anyone?! You are just giving silly excuses to cover up the fact that you tried to snatch my boyfriend!" Zhi Ruo said while pointing fingers at her.
Fu ixu frowned and tried explaining again, "Senior Ruo, I don't like your accusation. When Mr. Shi and I beca friends, I had no idea he was your boyfriend because you denied and hid that fact from everyone. I wouldn't have agreed to receive his help if I knew you two were in a romantic relationship. I only found out from him that you two were dating and that shows that he has nothing against you!"
"How dare you try to act smart with ? Do you think I'm a fool?" Zhi Ruo asked angrily.
Fu ixu sighed tiredly as she replied, "Senior Ruo, I don't know why you are trying to cause a scene here for no reason and everyone is watching. Mr. Shi is faithful and will never cheat on you, you are just worried about nothing important."
Zhi Ruo's eyes widened in shock. She was so angry as she asked, "What?"
Fu ixu saw Shi Qiao and her assistant approaching and smiled to herself. She continued to fan the flas.
"I'm sure you are feeling insecure but that's fine, it's normal when you have a handso and wealthy man as your boyfriend."
After saying this part to the hearing of everyone, Fu ixu lowered her voice and said in a tone that only them would hear...
"So, be careful that I don't take him from you because I can tell that he likes ."
