Chapter 302 - Working Softly For Her
When Zimo went back to the office, he was a little lost and had to pull himself together and deliver Fu Hua's ssage to the directors, before he was surrounded by the curious staff who wanted to know if he t their Boss's wife and his child.
Zimo denied eting them and imdiately escaped from their clutches and got questions.
As Zimo went back to his office, he sighed tiredly as he massaged his temples. He still couldn't fathom Fu Hua's thoughts for keeping this huge secret from them. He gave them such a hard ti by hiding the identity of his wife.
As Zimo had a lot of work to do, he imdiately pulled himself together and went back to work. Despite all these feelings sowhere in his heart, he was delighted for being the only outsider to learn of this news.
He was grateful for his Boss's trust.
As Fu Hua has been spending quality ti with his wife and daughter, while taking so ti off to continue with his work in the workshop, sobody sowhere was plotting on how to get her daughter into his company.
Bai Fen was currently on a call with her brother and finding a way out there for Bai Jun.
"... since your friend's wife's relative has such a high rank at FJ, she will be able to help Jun get into FJ, help talk to her, I don't mind the cost, money is not a problem."
"... I will help you ask but I doubt it's possible. You are on good terms with the Fu's and are in a better position to get your daughter into FJ, so why did you turn to ?" Bai Fen's brother asked.
Bai Fen was lost for words for a mont before replying, "Although I am on good terms with the Fu's, I don't want to trouble them. Please brother, help , just this once."
There was silence for a few seconds before her brother spoke. "I will help you then. This is a huge favor you're asking, so it won't be easy on my side."
"Thank you!" Bai Fen said with a smile. After their conversation ended, she sighed and put her phone aside while hoping for the connection to pull through.
Two days later, Bai Fen got good and bad news.
Her brother was able to get in touch with one of the Top designers in FJ through his wife. Unfortunately, FJ wasn't employing anyone and had no plans for that as there was an upcoming Autumn fashion show and everyone in FJ had their attention on the fashion show.
That was the bad news. Now the good news is...
After the Autumn fashion show, there may be an opportunity to take in new people. This good news was enough for Bai Fen who thanked her brother before imdiately going to Bai Jun's bedroom to announce the news to her.
Bai Jun almost cried when she heard the first part of the news but after her mother quickly added the second part, she beca happy as all lost hopes were restored.
"You need to start preparing to get into FJ as you would need to prove your talents to them." Bai Fen reminded her.
"I know. I will have to study hard in order for my works to be acknowledged." Bai Jun replied with a proud smile. As her dreams were gradually coming to reality, she felt so happy.
"Do you need to get a coach for you?" Bai Fen asked with her gaze on her.
"Yes, the earlier the better. Mum, you need to get the best one." Bai Jun instructed. Since she was working to get into FJ, she had to use the best resources.
At least she understood one thing, that a place like FJ wasn't for people like her. Her designs wouldn't be able to catch their attention that way, so she needs to improve on a lot of things.
"Of course, I will. Your grandmother and father will definitely agree to get you a good coach no matter the cost since this has to do with your career." Bai Fen said in agreent.
Bai Jun thought about sothing and asked, "But mum, I am scared of grandmother's reaction when she finds out about my intentions of getting into FJ after she warned to stay away from the Fu family."
Bai Fen wasn't worried at all. She smiled and placed her hand on her shoulder. "We are not going to tell anyone about this until you have already gotten into FJ. If your grandmother, father, aunties, or anyone from our family finds out about this, then everything will be over!"
"Then what about the Fu family, what if they find out about this?" Bai Jun asked in a worried tone. She was scared of anyone ruining her plans and she was hoping her fears won't co true.
"Do you think they have that kind of ti to monitor the recruits or employees at FJ? There are already people who are not mbers of the Fu family to handle that in FJ and you don't need to worry about that, you only need to worry about keeping your lips sealed and improving on yourself." Bai Fen said to her.
"Mum, I will have to rely on you then." Bai Jun said with a satisfied smile.
She felt happy and relaxed at everything was working softly for her. She would really throw a party if she got into FJ sooner.
As for FangSu, her ban was lifted a week later. She was so excited when her phone was returned to her and she was allowed to leave the house.
The first thing she did after she got her phone was to dial Bai Jun's contact but unfortunately, the call didn't go through. She tried the number for almost an hour before she gave up.
She was sitting on her couch and biting her lips frustratedly when she rembered she had Bai Fen's contact and without wasting ti she quickly dialed her number.
It took so ti before Bai Fen answer her call.
"FangSu, you got your phone back?" Bai Fen asked in a lively tone.
"Yes Aunty, my grandfather locked up, he...." FangSu went on to complain about the punishnt she received.
