Chapter 201 - Mrs. Li's Worries
As Jia Li's graduation was fast approaching, she didn't have to worry because she had already submitted her project.
Jia Li was eating and sleeping peacefully but so people couldn't.

He has been thinking a lot lately that he didn't bother to tell his mother about his promotion for days until her call ca in.
"You have been promoted? That's a relief. You have to co back, mum will cook a lot of food to celebrate and I'm sure you haven't been eating properly." Mrs. Li said to him happily over the phone.
"Mum, I'm very busy, it won't be easy to make it." Li Huan replied.
"Even if you have other people under you now, your weekends should still be free. Co ho next weekend and celebrate with your lonely mother." Mrs. Li said as she tried to persuade him.
"Okay, I will co back next weekend." Li Huan replied tiredly.
"When last did you speak to Jia Li? Have you told her about your promotion?" Mrs. Li asked in a curious tone.
She was very happy that her son was promoted at his workplace, now she was thinking it was ti for him to settle down and she found Jia Li to be the perfect wife for her son, and the perfect daughter-in-law for her.
"I spoke to Jia Li a few days ago and she knows about my promotion." Li Huan replied.
"Good! Ask her to co with you to visit , you can tell her that I missed her and want to see her. You are not getting younger, you need to start making plans about settling down and Jia Li is the right person to settle down with." Mrs. Li pointed out with an excited tone.
Being reminded of his relationship with Jia Li, Li Huan felt pain in his chest. He had just learned that the woman he has always had his eyes on was already married and pregnant with soone else's baby. This was sothing demoralizing.
Li Huan felt so angry but he couldn't bla his mother for ntioning it because she was still in the dark about Jia Li's marriage.
"Mum, I can't invite Jia Li back ho and I can't marry her." Li Huan said to his mother.
The smile on Mrs. Li's face disappeared and she began to lecture him.
"Li Huan, what do you by you can't invite Jia Li back ho and it's not possible to marry her? Did you find another one at that place you went to work? Let tell you, I will not accept any other daughter-in-law if it's not Jia Li. You have known Jia Li for such a long ti and I know you liked her, so what happened now?"
Li Huan heaved a sigh as he thought that he should tell his mother the truth, so she would stop blaming and lecturing him.
"Mum, things are not the way you are thinking. I don't have a girlfriend here. The reason I can't ask Jia Li to co ho with or marry her is that she is already married." Li Huan revealed.
Mrs. Li was so shocked by the revelation that she blurted out almost imdiately, "What did you say?!"
"Mum, it's true, Jia Li is already married. We t so days ago when I asked for us to et, as she told about it." Li Huan revealed.
"How did this happen? When did she get married? Which family did she get married to?" Mrs. Li asked a series of questions because she was still in disbelief.
"She told she got married around September. She married into the Fu family." Li Huan said in a sad tone.
The more he rembered and talked about the reality between him and Jia Li, the more pain he felt.
"How co she got married and she didn't let anyone know. Was she forced to get married? Where is the Fu family located, we have to go and confront them in case Jia Li was forced into getting married, at least you have so power now." Mrs. Li said with a frown, while she hoped in her son.
She believed that now her son has been promoted, he would have a bit of power and authority to confront so people.
Li Huan smiled bitterly. He has just made a little investigation on the Fu family two days after eting with Jia Li and discovered that it wasn't a family to be trifled with.
He wasn't qualified to be near any mber of the Fu family because he can never be equal to them or co close to them in the present life
They were so wealthy and powerful than any of them could crush him easily. He couldn't fight for his love because Jia Li was married to that kind of family, and she was already pregnant with the defendant of that kind of family.
Li Huan knew that his fantasies had co to an end after reading the little information he saw about the Fu family.
What right did he have to confront any of them? His life will imdiately be over if he dared to do that. He still had a long road ahead of him and he still had his mother, so he couldn't try his luck.
When his mother ntioned confronting the Fu family, he knew that she was unaware of how powerful the Fu family was, so he had to explain things to her.
Mrs. Li was shocked when she heard about the little details of the Fu family from her son. She has no idea that the old man she saw in Jia Li's house during her parents' funeral, was such a big shot.
She felt stupid to have brought up that kind of suggestion. Her little life span will imdiately be crushed and sent out of her, but still, she couldn't help but be worried about Jia Li.
"Li Huan, how can we leave Jia Li like that? It's obvious that she was forced to get married to one of the sons of the Fu family and I know none of the children of these rich families are of good behavior." Mrs.. Li said worriedly.
