Chapter 175 - Fu Lei's Threat
The next day while grandfather Fu was still working on the promise he made for his family after breakfast, Fu Lei co ho, surprising everybody.
His sudden visit surprised Grandfather Fu who didn't get a ssage from him.
Straight from the entrance, Fu Lei walked straight to his bedroom to find Fu Hee.
Fu Hee was sitting in front of the mirror and applying a red lipstick ???? on her lips when soone opened the door and walked in.
Glancing up and seeing her husband who had disappeared for quite a long ti, she looked surprised.
She smiled and got up to get him. "You're back? How co you didn't say anything before coming back?." She asked as she gazed at him.
"Do I now need your permission to co back to my house?." Fu Lei asked angrily.
Fu Hee was surprised by his outburst and took so steps back. "Why are you getting angry when you have only co back? I was only concerned that you didn't say anything to ."
"Do you still have the heart to be concerned about anybody apart from yourself?." Fu Lei asked while pointing fingers at her.
"Fu Lei, did I offend you or sothing? Why are you so angry with ?." Fu Hee asked with a frown, as she didn't understand the reason her husband who had been away for a long ti, just ca back and started to pour aggression on her.
"Why are you so good at pretending? I heard you tried to harm a child of the Fu family, you really have guts now." Fu Lei said furiously while pointing to her face. He felt like hitting her, but he couldn't bring himself to do that.
Fu Hee was so scared when she heard him ntion killing a child of the Fu family, and he looked as if he was about to hit her.
"I didn't do anything! Did father call you because of it? You know father is so biased when it cos to matter concerning Jia Li. It was a mistake, I put radish on Jia Li's plate without knowing it wasn't healthy for her in her current condition. I didn't an any harm." Fu Hee lied with a pleading gaze.
She was very scared of her husband whenever he was angry.
"Are you trying to lie to ? Do you think Hua will call to accuse you of what you did not do? Do you take for a fool? How can you not be aware of what food a pregnant woman should avoid?." Fu Lei asked as he took few steps towards her.
Fu Hee was alard and imdiately took several steps back till her back hit the mirror stand. "Fu Lei can you not be so scary? Do you want to hit ?."
"Are you still worried about yourself? You can not even show remorse for your actions! So you actually dared to harm a child of the Fu family, your son's child, and our grandchild?." Fu Lei question as he stopped in his steps.
Fu Hee knew that there was no point in lying anymore because Fu Lei was ready to hit her if she continued lying.
Since they have been married, he has never laid his hands on her because he promised not to. But with the way things were going, it was very possible that he had forgotten about that promise, and will end up hitting her.
Since things had co to this, Fu Hee decided to co out clean and apologize. She knelt and pleaded with Fu Lei.
"Fu Lei, I'm so sorry about what happened, I don't know what ca over , I promise it wouldn't happen again!."
"It wouldn't happen again? Of course, you shouldn't dare to think about harming Jia Li or the child she is carrying if you don't want to go back to your family to stay forever." Fu Lei said to her.
He was ready to divorce her and send her back to her family if she tries to commit any atrocity. He was tired of her madness. Since he couldn't hit her, he would find a better way to give her heavy punishnt.
Hearing his threat, Fu Hee beca more frightened. "Fu Lei, things haven't co to this. How can you think of sending back to my family, do you eat to be laughed at and made fun of by my family?." Fu Hee asked as tears threatened to drop from her eyes.
"If you have truly repented, you shouldn't be worried about the punishnt, but it looks like I have said so much to you and you failed to understand so things. Tomorrow, pack your things and go back to your Fang family." Fu Lei said to her in rage and then turned to leave, but Fu Hee imdiately clutched his legs.
"Fu Lei, you can't do this to , I was only asking a question, please don't send back to my father's house!." Fu Hee cried as she hugged Fu Lei's leg.
"What are you doing? Let go of my leg!." Fu Lei said as he tried to release his leg from her grasp, but Fu Hee was holding unto it tightly. She was determined not to let go.
"No!, Fu Lei, I'm sorry, I promise to change, please don't do this to ! I... I promise to be good to Jia Li, I will not try to harm her child again!" Fu Hee pleaded as tears fell from the corner of her eyes.
She knew her husband always ant his words. How can you go back to the Fang family after being married for such a long ti? She will be a joke if she was sent packing.
There was a lot of competition in the Fang family, and she was lucky that she managed to marry into the wealthiest family in the country, which was among the Top 15 in the world.
Since she married into the Fu family and got the mistress position after her mother-in-law died, she has been accorded a lot of respect...
