DAVINA

"I... I want to see my mother." I stuttered, as I swallowed, a sinking feeling settling in my chest.

"Maria isn’t here. She didn’t tell you?" He raised a brow at in surprise.

The confusion on my face made him shake his head slightly before he threw the blood-stained wipe in his hand straight to the floor.

"Maria isn’t going to be back for the next two weeks. After her arrival, our marriage will take place." A complacent look appeared on his face, which made even more unsettled. Was he that eager to marry my mom?

"Two weeks?" I stuttered, already cussing at my mom inwardly. She never told anything!

"Can I go ho?" My lips shivered, but at that mont, his eyes dimd slightly and the muscles on his arms flexed. "I can’t stay there until she is back...hmmm..."

My mouth was suddenly covered from behind as my body was imdiately locked in a hard embrace and I was dragged straight to the stairs. All I could see was Alpha Diego staring at with a warning glare.

Before I even knew who was taking away, I was already back in the maze-like hallway, thrashing about just to be free. But then I was too weak.

"Let... go—"

My body suddenly banged on the wall and I ca face to face with Uriel who had a smile on his face. His smile was unsettling, after all, one could see the tightness around his eyes.

"I see you don’t know your place, huh? Speaking to the Alpha that way?" Uriel said, with a deep voice that reverberated off the walls in the hallway. He then pressed down on my body, gluing to the wall.

"What are you doing—"

"Shhh..." He put his finger on my lips, shutting up as his breath fanned my face. His lips hovered over my cheek, down my neck and I swallowed nervously. His warmth enveloped , sending a hot sensation down my thighs.

"Your little mouth needs to be put to use..." His finger rubbed my lips gently, making part them even wider. "Else you would go around running your mouth before the Alpha."

"Enough of that, Uriel. Stop scaring her." Shawn’s voice resounded by my side as a door was pushed open. He stepped out of the room, looking at Uriel and with a dark gaze.

Imdiately, I pushed Uriel away so Shawn wouldn’t misunderstand our closeness. But that was futile when Ethan stepped out, shirtless. His chest muscles clenched and his abs glistened with his blood.

It was an unusual and pitiful sight but why was I thirsting over him? I couldn’t get my eyes away from his hard body and slowly, I pushed my gaze down to his pants but he caught .

"Are you done seducing Uriel? And now you want to have too?" Ethan sneered.

"That’s not true." I shook my head and then closed my eyes tightly to get rid of the image in my head. This was not what I should be focused on right now.

I needed to take a step.

I turned to Shawn, the only familiar person I knew, with pleading eyes I said, "I want to go ho. Can you let leave?"

"You can." Shawn pursed his lips, with a serious face. A smile blood on my face imdiately.

"But you wouldn’t be able to make it past the mansion’s gate without a broken leg."

"What?" I gasped, my smile faltering. "What’s going on? Am I going to be locked up here...hidden and abused like you guys?"

"What do you think?" Ethan jumped in with a snicker. His eyes went dark and he looked at in disapproval, "You had to run your mouth so well and we got beaten. If you had just stayed in your room, you wouldn’t have to see that ugly sight."

"What are you saying?" I was angry all of a sudden. "You locked up in that room and you expect not to say anything?"

Ethan pursed his lips, anger flashing in his eyes. His lips twitched as if he wanted to burst on but then, he suddenly cald down.

"I guess you will be thanking for locking you up in that room soon." He sneered before turning away to leave. I swallowed, not knowing what that ant but as he walked away, my breath quickened.

The scars on his back were nurous!

"Is that..." I pointed shakily at Ethan’s back as I stared at Shawn and Uriel. "Is that all your father’s doing? Do you both have those too?"

"What if we do?" Uriel chuckled, still smiling. "What are you going to do about it?"

"This shouldn’t be happening!" I said, with a concerned expression. My heart was breaking for them and I was starting to think of solutions to their current situation.

"Is this why you all have been hidden from the Pack? For goddess’ sake, you all have been nad ugly monsters because—"

"The rumors are true, Davina." Uriel cut off, his gaze brooding. "We are monsters, we have no real place in the Pack. Nothing belongs to us. And that Alpha over there, isn’t our father."
