After finishing breakfast.

Walking on the small countryside road, Itsuki and Sakurai Saki prepared to go to the village flower shop to buy so white chrysanthemums. As the Obon festival was approaching, many houses had altars and butsudan set up at their entrances.

August 13th is the day to welco the spirits; in the evening people must light Obon lanterns, and at the door or entrance burn hemp stalks to guide the ancestral spirits.

"It seems that because it will rain on the 16th, the Obon dance festival has to be moved to tomorrow."

Nakano Itsuki saw many elderly people wearing striking traditional outfits hurriedly walking on the road while carrying things.

"Anyway it lasts for 4 days, choosing tomorrow doesn't seem to be a problem."

"Umu. But since the schedule got disrupted, everyone looks really busy."

"So what about Nakano-san? He's not coming back?"

Sakurai Saki suddenly rembered that man — the relationship between the two of them when they interacted wasn't very good, no, calling it full of gunpowder sll wouldn't be an exaggeration.

"Obon isn't only here, it's the sa on my father's side. On my mother's side, my grandparents passed away a long ti ago, and in recent years it's always been us going to visit. Otherwise, we'd have to travel between two places during the 4 days, which would be very inconvenient." Itsuki explained and then stopped —

"Sakurai-san, we're here."

The two quickly stepped into the flower shop.

The shop owner was a woman with her hair done in a "classic mama-san", a side-ponytail. When she saw Itsuki, a delighted expression appeared on her face: "Itsuki-chan, you're back?"

"Yes." Itsuki nodded.

Sakurai Saki stood in front smiling without saying anything, playing the role of the backdrop.

Because he didn't know what he should say.

"This one is… Ara. Itsuki-chan's boyfriend?" The shop owner put down her scissors, looked at Sakurai Saki for a few seconds, then covered her mouth and giggled.

Nakano Itsuki glanced at Sakurai Saki, mumbling: "That's right."

Anyway, everything that should and shouldn't be done had already been done, there was no turning back, so just leave it at that.

Thinking about it carefully, Miku had worked so hard for so long to "conquer" Sakurai-san, yet in the end she wasn't as fast as her — she totally won.

"Eh? From Tokyo?"

In the shop owner's eyes, only big cities like Tokyo had handso boys like this.

n from the countryside were all extrely rustic.

"My old ho is in Kyoto, I'm currently studying in Tokyo, my na is Sakurai Saki."

"No difference at all. Kyoto and Tokyo combined, that's really sothing." The shop owner's tone gave people a feeling of "truly impressive," exaggerated to an unbearable degree.

"Hana-san, aren't people from Tokyo pretty common?"

"No no no, Itsuki-chan, in Asahiaki village besides your family, no one else has any connection to a big tropolis like Tokyo."

At this mont, Sakurai Saki once again understood Tokyo's charm to country people.

As if in their eyes, Tokyo was full of fashionable beauties, dazzling handso boys, and everyone lived a glamorous and extravagant life.

Prejudice really does kill.

After chatting for a few minutes.

"You two ca today to buy flowers for ancestor offerings? Do you want hemp stalks too? I still have a lot, you two just ca back from Tokyo after all, right right, eggplants and cucumbers—"

"Hana-san, we've prepared most things already, we only need flowers."

Itsuki hurriedly stopped the overly enthusiastic shop owner.

...

A few minutes later, the two headed back.

On the way.

They happened to run into Yotsuba, who had just finished her jog.

Sumr mornings weren't cool at all, and Yotsuba at this mont was drenched in sweat. If she wasn't wearing sportswear, she would definitely look… very seductive. Wearing sportswear and jogging in the sumr felt very unusual, like she was doing endurance training.

"Itsuki? Sakurai-san, you two went to buy flowers?" Yotsuba approached, gasping for breath.

Then she took out a deodorant spray from her pocket and sprayed a bit on her snow-white neck and forehead.

"What's that?"

"Deodorant spray. Lots of girls carry it with them, you don't know?" Itsuki looked at him with a surprised expression.

Sakurai Saki complained: "I'm a boy, why should I know?"

Next to Shuchiin's athletic field there were so many shower rooms, when would deodorant spray ever have a chance to be used?

"Gross."

"Sorry, okay? My sweat doesn't have any weird sll, and it's not dirty."

I think you guys really don't understand the value of an Esper.

The two simultaneously showed unpleasant expressions. Why was this man so narcissistic?

"Normally I don't see Sakurai-san training much."

Itsuki added: "I don't see you at the athletic field either."

"I go jogging around my house every morning. Before, when I had free ti after school, I even planned to go play ball with the people from the sports club, even though student council work wasn't that busy. But ever since I beca your tutor last year, my leisure ti instantly decreased by more than half."

"But this year Sakurai-san, you quit already, didn't you?"

"It's the final year. Have you ever seen a third-year high school student who doesn't study every day and just runs around everywhere?" Sakurai Saki glanced at Yotsuba.

He thought everyone was just like her, overflowing with excess energy with nowhere to use it?

"Ehehe~." Yotsuba let out a silly laugh.

"Yotsuba, where's your howork? Have you finished it?" Sakurai Saki asked.

"... Not yet."

Yesterday afternoon she worked for a while, then stopped and didn't continue.

"Go ho and finish it. I just prepared several sets of practice problems for you all, I hope you can finish them in the next few days."

"Practice problems? Eh… Sakurai-san, you're not our tutor anymore!"

"You don't have to do them."

"Umm… I'll do them, okay? Don't look at with that expression."

After that, the three of them brought their things back ho.

...

In the afternoon, Ichika called, saying that she would co back today.

"Ichika said she's bringing a lot of stuff, does anyone want to go help?" In the room, Nakano Nino looked at her sisters and asked.

Yotsuba lay sprawled on the table, her voice exhausted: "I really want to go, but my head hurts too much."

Studying was truly painful, especially when the practice problems Sakurai Saki gave were all types she wasn't good at.

Sakurai Saki stood up and said: "I'll go."

He was the only boy in the room.

"Want to go with you?" Nino asked.

"It's scorching hot outside, are you sure?"

It was still nearly forty degrees today — staying indoors without air conditioning would be unbearable.

"I'm just asking, who would actually want to go pick her up? It's not like she doesn't have hands or feet. Just go and co back quickly, Ichika should be arriving soon." Nino said as she ran to the drawer in the corner and took out an umbrella to hand to him.

...

Walking under the umbrella to the bus stop where only one bus ca every two hours, Sakurai Saki saw Nakano Ichika wearing sunglasses and a fashionable sun hat. She was carrying two luggage bags, sneakily looking around for soone.

"Sensei-chan~ over here!!"

Seeing Sakurai Saki, Ichika waved at him.

The two gradually approached each other.

"Why did you bring so much stuff with you?"

"After finishing filming the movie, I didn't even get a chance to return to Tokyo, you know? I had no choice but to bring all my luggage along." Nakano Ichika sighed.

"What are Nino and the others doing? I honestly didn't expect you to be the one coming to pick up."

Sakurai Saki took her luggage and replied:

"Lying around enjoying the air conditioner."

"?"

Ichika began to doubt the relationship between herself and her sisters.

Wasn't this supposed to be a harmonious, loving family?

They don't even want to co pick her up? Lazy like pigs?
