The knights stationed to guard the manor recognized Gavin as the Commander of Master of Arms so they allowed him to enter the Stormholt estate.
He told the guards that he ca personally to relay a ssage to Princess Eve. The guards inford him that Eve was in the practice ground of the manor.
Gavin leisurely walked in as he watched Eve practice archery. Surprisingly, she hit the bullseye. That was when he made his presence known to her.
Clap! Clap!
"Whoa, you are now prepared for the upcoming Royal Hunt, Princess Eve." Gavin praised her while looking at her with his lustful eyes.
Eve couldn’t hide her displeasure upon seeing Gavin. She knew this person spells trouble for her.
anwhile, Gideon shot Gavin a deathly glare. He folded his fingers into fists. He almost lost his control, planning to attack Gavin.
But Eve imdiately grabbed Gideon’s elbow, thus stopping him from making a reckless move.
’I want to kill this pervert,’ Gideon thought as he glanced at Eve.
But Eve just shook her head, gently squeezing his hand. Her erald eyes warned Gideon not to make a haste move against Gavin.
Taking a deep sigh, Gideon managed to suppress his anger.
"Can I have a mont alone with Princess Eve? I have sothing to tell her." Gavin darted his gaze to the bystanders. His words aid to dismiss everyone so that he could have private ti with Eve.
Gideon’s face grimaced in disdain upon hearing that. He gritted his teeth. ’What a shaless guy! I want to punch his face.’
On the other hand, Sera, the female servants, and the knights didn’t move as they waited for Eve’s instructions. They would listen to her, not to Gavin’s command.
Eve nodded and waved her hand, finally dismissing everyone.
Hearing about Gavin’s rotten character, Gideon was reluctant to leave her alone with that pervert. But Eve just gave him a reassuring smile.
’Gavin cares about his image and his title so he won’t do anything to harm in this territory where everyone can beco a witness.’
When everyone left, Eve started to confront Gavin.

He moved a little closer to Eve, extending his hand to touch her hair.
Eve stepped back, narrowing her eyes on him.
Gavin just chuckled at her reactions. He picked up sothing inside his pocket and handed it over to Eve.
"That’s the palace invitation for the Grand Banquet to welco the Crown Prince of Kingdom Eldara. This is for your husband."
Eve frowned when she only got one invitation. And the other one contained a ti and a place.
"The second invitation is from . It’s ti for you to fulfill the end of our deal. et at that place. I will be waiting for you, my Princess," He said, licking his lips while his lustful eyes raked her body from head to toe.
He was already drooling over her. He couldn’t wait to have his way with her– claiming and devouring her body.
Eve’s stomach churned upon hearing that. She wanted to puke on his face at this mont. She struggled to keep her calm deanor.

As soon as Gavin disappeared, Gideon ca back to check on her. Grabbing her shoulders, he asked her, "Are you okay? What does he want from you?" His voice was laced with concern.
Eve nodded before roaming her eyes in their surroundings. When she saw no one, Eve slipped the note in Gideon’s hand.
Gideon frowned deeply upon seeing the notes. Then he spat a series of curses.
"Let’s teach that guy a lesson. I will make him regret everything he has done to you," Gideon swore.
Eve smiled at him, feeling grateful to have Gideon’s support. She wasn’t afraid because she was not alone in this fight.
"Shall we prepare for tonight’s plan?" Gideon whispered to her.
Eve nodded in response.
Gideon and Eve headed back to the house.
But little did they know, Sera had also witnessed the exchanges between Eve and Gavin in the practice ground earlier. Alaric gave her a task to keep an eye on Eve, that’s why she was secretly monitoring her.
