"You know, I miss walking." Amaya was enjoying walking to their destination. It had been a while since they all did sothing like this, and it brought back mories.

"I agree. However, I miss riding in the carriage." Gwen recalled the carriage Kai used to have and missed those tis.

"Want to ride in it?" He asked.

"Hell yeah."

"Yup."

"That would be nice."

"Please."

"Yes."

So, Kai summoned his carriage and had all of them hop inside.

"Ahhh, I missed this. Did you miss ? I know you did. I know you missed ." While Gwen was talking to the carriage, Kai suddenly got a telepathic call from his daughter.

"Daddy! Daddy!"

"Hmm? Karyah? What’s wrong?" Karyah was his daughter with Karumi, and she was just like her mother, wild. She ca ho with a dead manticore one day after being gone for hours on end.

Kai could sense where she was, and she was stronger than ninety-nine percent of the population, so he wasn’t worried about her safety. She also had protection spells on her, Kai’s doing, so even if anything happened, she would be fine.

Leo was also watching her anyway.

"Mommy is mad! I don’t wanna go to the spirit world! I want to be with my sisters."

’So cute!’ Kai was okay with dying from the cuteness of his daughters.

"Just tell her no."

"She said I can’t say no because I’m only two-years old."

Karyah was indeed only two, but because of her godly genes, she was way smarter than normal kids. Combined with her spirit genes, she developed faster than her siblings, excluding the child Kai had with Fiji, since she was born fully divine.

"Do you not want to see your grandmother? Kurami is a nice woman."

"Grandma is fun, but Grandma has to work, so she can’t co here. Mommy wants to help Grandma and is going to take ."

"Want to hang with ?" Kai asked

"Yes!"

"Okay." Kai teleported his daughter to him, and she appeared on his lap.

"Daddy!" She hugged him extrely tight, excited to see her father, her single tail wagging with happiness.

"Haha, hey, my beautiful daughter."

"Oh my gosh! Karyah! What are you doing here?!" Gwen took her from Kai’s lap and gave her a hug.

"Hello, other mommies. Mommy wanted to go to the spirit world, but I don’t wanna."

"You don’t have to go anywhere! You can stay with us."

"Yay!"

As they all were welcod by the presence of Karyah, the carriage suddenly ca to a stop.

"Hmm? What’s going on?" Kai looked outside and saw a whole group of won with weapons in their hands standing in front of the carriage.

"Why don’t you all step outside and have a little chat with us?" A woman shouted.

"Ugh, bandits. So annoying. I’ll handle this." Right as Kyana was about to step out, Kai stopped her.

"Wait. I have a better idea." He turned his attention to Karyah.

"Hello, all of you. How is your day coming along?" Kai greeted them nicely with his daughter in his arms.

"Oh, a man, huh?"

"Boss, he’s sexy. Let’s have fun with him."

"Calm down, we’ll take him with us, but it’s clear that the won in the carriage sent him out here as bait. Be on guard."

"Daddy, those won look an."

"That’s because they are an, sweetie."

"Are they really an?"

"They are really, really an. So an that they don’t want around anymore."

"But I want you around, daddy."

"I want to be around as well. So, what do we do to really an people?"

"We beat them up!" Her eyes started to glow red, and she grew claws and fangs.

"That’s right, sweetie, we beat them up! Go!"

"Kyahahahahahaha!" Karyah ran on all fours and lunged at the boss woman, clawing her legs and uppercutting the woman in the face.

She then spun around, kicking another woman in the belly, then leaped off that woman to headbutt another one.

"S-Shit! She’s fucking strong!"

"Get her!"

Karyah jumped up, split-kicking two won in the face, used her tail to fire a beam into another woman’s chest, then jumped on the final woman and started clawing at her face.

"Don’t take my daddy away!"

"Yeahh! That’s what I’m talking about!" Kai made sure she didn’t kill anyone and just incapacitated them.

He cleaned her up, congratulated her on doing a good job, and then told her to go back inside the carriage.

"You guys go on, I’ll catch up real quick."

"Okay." Gwen started the carriage again and had it fly this ti.

Once they were out of sight, Kai’s expression changed.

"You know, being a father ans that I have to protect my little ones, so I don’t appreciate you attacking while I was hanging out with my daughter." He cracked his knuckles and lifted every woman in the air.

"W-We’re sorry!"

"P-Please forgive us!"

"When your life is on the line, you beg for forgiveness, but if my life were on the line, what would you have done?"

He got no response.

"Exactly." Kai killed them all, brutally.

---

"Whoa, so that’s the temple, huh? They really went all out with this."

After a few hours, they all made it to the temple and were so close to entering the town that was trapped in ti. Behind the temple, where the town was located, was nothing. At least that’s what it looked like.

Kai could see a large do that was going crazy with temporal energy. The place was so unstable that he wondered how it lasted for one thousand years.

"Can we go inside now?" Amaya asked

"Yeah, let’s go."

"Daddy, mommy is coming," Karyah warned him.

"Huh? Rorreal? How do you know?"

"She just told ."

"Dammit." Kai’s fieldtrip with his daughter was now over, unfortunately.

"Don’t worry, just be on your best behavior, and when I go back ho, we’ll go on a super adventure, okay?"

"Okay!" She higged Kai, then leaped into the air, where Karumi suddenly appeared.

"Karyah—Huh? Oh, I see that you’re listening to now?" Karumi tapped her forehead.

"Yes, mommy. I’m sorry."

"It’s okay, sweetie. Let’s go, Grandma misses you." Karumi winked at Kai and then teleported away.

"Okay, Temple, here we co."
