"Congratulations, Kai, you’re now a hunter." Martha smiled and gave him his very own hunter’s license.
His own looked identical to George’s. The only way to tell the difference was by looking at the na on it, which each license had.
"Yes! Thank you, Martha." Kai didn’t waste any ti and pulled her in close, kissing her on the lips.
She was clearly stunned, not expecting a kiss, but she didn’t decline or fight back. She accepted it, leaning in and kissing Kai back.
Their tongues invaded each other’s mouths and swirled around one another. Kai grabbed her ass, lifting her up as her legs wrapped around his back and he pressed her up against a wall where they continued to make out for the next five minutes.
"W-Wait." Martha blushed, turning her head away slightly. "I can’t be gone for too long. I-I have to get back to work."
Kai kissed her one last ti and put her down. As she collected her things, Kai gave her a nice slap on the ass.
*SLAP*
"Eek! W-What was that for?!" She asked with a red face.
"Nothing, just like the way your ass feels."
"T-Thanks." She blushed even harder
Once they left the room, they bumped into a tall man, not as tall as Kai, but still tall and muscular enough to be imposing. He was bald and had a scar on his scalp. His face was rough-looking, and he radiated a serious aura.
"Who the fuck are you? And why were you in that room alone with Martha?" The man asked with a serious tone.
’Fuck off old man, I don’t have to tell you shit.’ He activated his red eyes, and what greeted him was a red aura that instantly made Kai sweat profusely.
"Father! Stop scaring him! He’s new!" Martha begged.
"Oh, my sweet pea! Did he hurt you? Are you okay? You know better than to be in a room alone with a man." He turned to Kai. "You bastard! What did you do to my daughter?!"
"Wait! I can explain!" Kai panicked
"Father! He was just taking his hunter exam! Mr. Paul and George introduced us to him today. He even handed in six forest wolves and has space magic. He also passed the exam with flying colors! Don’t be rude. He’ll be a great hunter."
’Martha!’ Kai almost cried after hearing her stick up for him. His heart was beating fast, and he could feel his eyes watering.
"Paul and George? You’re friends with them? Well, why didn’t you say so before? Hahaha! Welco to my Hunter’s Guild! I apologize for my past actions. I’m just looking out for my daughter." The entire energy of the man shifted. He was now a caring, nice, friendly man who shook Kai’s hand.
’What the hell just happened. Bro’s attitude just did a complete 180! Crazy bastard!’
Kai laughed. "No worries. I understand that you were only looking out for your daughter. I won’t hold anything against you. In fact, that makes respect you even more."
"Hahaha! Great, great! Martha, you see this man? He’s a good man."
"Father!"
Kai smiled dryly when he noticed the man’s aura change. It went from red to pink.
’Woah! What the fuck just happened? Wait, I rember reading that the colors can change depending on the situation. Since Martha explained what happened and the fact that I respected him and I know Paul and George, he must trust now. I can’t let this opportunity pass!’
"Excuse , sir? May I have the honor of knowing your na?" Kai asked with a bow.
The man rubbed his nose as he liked how Kai was respecting him. "I’m Carl, nice to et you. And welco to my guild, the Wolf Hunters’ Guild."
With a smirk, Kai shook the man’s hand once more and placed his hypnosis on the man.
"By the way, I’ll be staying with you both for the foreseeable future. I hope that doesn’t bother you." Kai smirked
Carl slapped Kai back with his large hand. "Haha! Of course not! Our house is your house. Feel free to stay there for as long as you like. There is one problem, though. We only have two rooms."
"That’s not a problem. I’ll sleep with Martha in her room."
Carl stared at Kai, then looked at his daughter. She didn’t complain, so he didn’t either. Normally, he would never allow a man to sleep his his daughter’s room unless he was their husband. But he knew Kai was a good man and didn’t mind. What he didn’t know was that his mind was altered from the hypnosis, so his clear thinking would never be clear.
"That sounds good. You don’t mind, do you, Martha?"
"N-No, father. I think it’s okay."
"That settles it, then. We close at night, so you can stay here until then or co back after finishing up whatever business you have. We’ll take you ho after."
Kai nodded. "I’ll look forward to it."

For the rest of the day, Kai decided to do three things. Learn as much as he could from Paul and George, buy starter equipnt for his hunting journey, and familiarize himself with Hearthtown.
Paul and George showed Kai around and told him everything he needed to know for a beginner, including ways to train and work out. They even offered to train him, but Kai declined. Not that he didn’t want their help, but he wanted to learn on his own for now.
They accepted this and gave him the na of the village they lived in, telling him that he could co see them any ti he wanted or if he needed sothing.
By the end of the day, Kai had all the information he needed for right now, had all the equipnt he would need for a hunt, so clothes to change into, and headed back to the Hunter’s Guild.
"Kai, over here," Carl yelled out to him.
"Hey Carl. Closing up?" He asked
"Yup. Got to do a few more things back in the office, so I won’t be ho for about another two hours. Martha here will show you the way back ho."
Kai nodded. "Cool. Let’s go, Martha."
