Izzy was bleeding from her mouth, nose, and from cuts all over her body. Still, she didn’t back down and put her life on the line.
"Don’t tell that’s all you got, Izzy!" The knight shouted with glee, chasing after her as she flew away to prepare her next spell.
"Dammit!" Izzy drew mana into the air, creating a magic circle with five ’holes’ in them. In each hole, an elent was placed, strengthening the spell. She then used runes to boost the spell even more, adding strength, mana absorption, stun, and more effects to it.
Finally, she used another spell to further boost the existing one. Taking blood from her injuries, she added it to the magic circle, making it turn red as she used blood oath magic.
Blood oath magic was a type of magic that used one’s own blood, the source of life. This simply ant that the spell would be significantly stronger than normal.
"Are you brave enough to take this one?!" Izzy asked, pointing her staff toward the magic circle.
"Give your best shot!" The knight yelled with glee.
Izzy smirked. "Heh! Vortex Storm!" The winds picked up around the knight, moving fast enough to cut people into pieces. The water hit hard like rocks, so even turning into icicles.
Lightning crackled, striking the knight with extre force. The earth morphed, turning into lava that drenched the knight. Fire rained down on him like divine punishnt, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.
Izzy took a mont to breathe, looking at all of the destruction she had caused, hoping the knight was dead. At first, she didn’t see any movents, and a smile crept on her face. But then, a sword flew directly at her head.
She barely had any ti to dodge the attack, creating a barrier at the last minute to block the blade. The barrier still broke instantly, and Izzy was cut on the cheek.
The recoil from not being able to block properly made her disoriented for a few seconds, and that’s all the knight needed to get his kill.
Coating his hand in energy, he aid for her heart, but right as he was about to claim Izzy’s life, sothing or soone caught his hand.
"Whoa there, man, I can’t have you doing that to her. I haven’t even tapped that yet." Kai had arrived on ti while still looking cool.
Honestly, he didn’t even know if he arrived on ti since the third prince’s faction was decimated to a degree. Regardless, he was here, and he saved Izzy.
"Kai! You’re here!" She felt so relieved to see Kai. It was as if weights were lifted from her shoulders.
"Kai, heh, I know you’re powerful, but don’t think that you’re strong enough to—"
Kai blew his body apart with ease, not even caring to listen to what the guy wanted to say.
"I’m so sick and tired of people having Progenitor Decay in their bodies, it’s so old, man! Where did this guy even get the shit? Is there a store around here that sells it? Fuck!" He absorbed the energy and then turned to Izzy.
"So, what’s going on?" He asked, tapping Izzy’s shoulder to heal her.
"Well, Prince Jas attacked." She explained everything from start to finish, leaving nothing out.
"Interesting. So he killed his own father and imprisoned his mother and sister. What a cruel bastard. Bro should have been like Philip and gone on a journey to beco strong. Whatever. Where’s Henry?"
"He’s in the castle."
"Sweet. Amaya, kill everyone who has sided with Prince Jas."
"Got it! Wait, how will I know who’s with that guy?"
"Hmm, that’s a good question. Just ask them, I guess."
"But what if they lie?"
"Damn, that’s also a good question. Well, just kill them anyway, who cares? I don’t."
"Sweet!" She took off.
"W-Who’s that?" Izzy could feel a massive amount of magic power coming from Amaya.
"Ah, that’s Amaya, she’s my wife, well, one of them."
"You’re married?!"
"No, not really. But I still claim that she’s my wife. Anyway, let’s go to save Prince Henry."

Henry was crawling on the floor, trying his best to escape Jas, but with a missing arm and leg, he couldn’t get far.
Pain was the only thing he could feel. He couldn’t even feel his arm or leg, but he knew he was moving them since the door was getting closer, or maybe that was just him imagining things since he had lost a lot of blood.
"That’s right, keep crawling like the worm you are," Jas smirked, watching his little brother cling to life.
"Wow, that’s fucked up," Kai said as he arrived in the throne room.
"Who goes there?!" Jas turned around and saw Kai sitting on the throne.
"Sup."
"K-K-K-Kai!" Jas stumbled back, nearly falling on his ass.
"Actually, it’s just Kai with one K, not four. What are you doing, man? How can you treat your brother in such a way?" Kai stood up, slipped down the throne stairs, rolled, front flipped, then stood back up like a boss.
"T-This isn’t any of your concern! You’re a citizen of MY kingdom, so you will do as I say! Now stand down! I am your King!" It was a long shot, but Jas hoped Kai would comply.
"Right, let just take a knee real quick. SIKE MOTHERFUCKER!" Kai lept over to Jas, spinning like a wheel, then kicked the guy in the face, knocking him through the walls.
"Hey, co back." Kai grabbed his body with mana and dragged him back inside the throne room.
"Arghhh!!"
"Shut up!" He kicked Jas in the mouth.
"Tell , why do you want to beco king anyway? What do you gain by killing all of these people and doing this to your family?"
"I-It’s my birthright!" He spat, blood spilling out of his mouth.
"So that ans you can do whatever you want? You’re not even a demigod to do that shit. You’re just a nobody. I an, if you had like hypnosis powers or sothing, then I’d understand. But you’re just a normal guy."
"My father was going to give the throne to Henry because he said that I don’t have what it takes to be a king! He stripped away what was mine!" Jas shouted.
Kai looked at the now unconscious Henry. "I an, he had a point. Look at what you did to—Oh shit! I gotta heal Henry before he dies."
