Since no one told him to stop, Kai kept beating Brimous to a pulp. He didn’t care what others thought about him after this mont. The feeling of putting soone in their place in front of a crowd was enough for Kai to feel satisfied.

Even the professors, the ones who were present, were surprised to see Kai beat the shit out of Brimous.

"Co on, fight back! Don’t be a little bitch!" Kai picked him up by the collar of his shirt, then launched him at the barrier, cracking it with his strength.

"Haha, whoops, almost broke that barrier." Kai chuckled, grabbing Brimous once more to beat the guy with his own arm again.

"STOP!" Prince Philip demanded Kai.

"Huh? What did you say?"

"I demand you to stop!"

Kai paused, taking a minute to fully grasp what the prince said.

"No," Kai smirked. He continued to beat Brimous.

"How dare you disobey a command from your prince!"

"Are you on the throne?" Kai asked

"H-Huh?"

"I asked if you’re on the throne. Because, if I’m not mistaken, only the King and Queen can make absolute demands. Not to ntion, we’re in the institute, your influence doesn’t an shit here."

Philip bit his lips, knowing that what Kai was saying was the truth. Still, no one would dare to go against him.

"I an, I can stop if you want, but then you would have to take his place. This guy here said that he would beat until I couldn’t walk, kill my parents, and he talked down on Lady Charlotte AND the Third Prince, whom I support." Kai said that part on purpose.

"Besides, I rember you telling Brimous to kill not too long ago, and he happily agreed. Now that the situation isn’t as you predicted, you want to stop? Hahahahahahahahaha!" Kai stomped on Brimos’s head, killing the guy, "No."

More gasps were heard in the crowd. Seeing soone die was not on their list of things to do for the day, so it caught everyone off guard.

Also, the second prince couldn’t do anything because Kai used his authority against him, was defending his lady’s honor, and used the third prince as a shield. The guy wasn’t in a position to do anything.

"If you wish to avenge your attendant, then by all ans, step onto the platform. But if you do, then you’ll have to suffer the sa consequences as him."

Now that was an open threat, one that wouldn’t be taken lightly.

"You would dare threaten a Prince?" Philip burst into a fury of rage and mana.

"You would dare attack your precious citizen? The rulers of a nation are only that because of the people under them. Do you know what happens to a ruler who doesn’t have the love of his people?" Kai swiped his throat with his thumb.

"So, make your move, your hiney."

Philip grumbled, cald himself, then walked away. Brimos’s possee followed behind him. But suddenly, Jace felt sothing grip his neck, pulling him into the clutches of Kai.

"W-What is the aning of this?! Let go!" He demanded

"Kai. You already made lose face once today, don’t make use my royal authority on you. Put him down." Philip demanded.

"Did you know that it was Jace who told Brimous about ? The guy was jealous that his master called handso and Brimous to teach a lesson. Well, we know how that went."

"I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I won’t ss with you again! Please! Please!" Jace begged.

"That’s enough! This duel is over; let him go." One of the professors demanded that Kai do.

"You know, when one man sses up, his whole family is punished, even if they are innocent. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the truth. Sotis, we need to learn that our actions have consequences, and today, you’re seeing it." Kai crushed his neck, killing Jace.

"This guy is insane!"

"He’s hot!"

"Yeah, and he’s fucked."

Kai could only laugh. "Well, consequences don’t matter if you’re the strongest." He disappeared, then reappeared in front of Charlotte. "Shall we go ho, my lady?"

"Kai! We’re gonna be in big trouble!" She was starting to think that hiring Kai was a mistake.

"Hahaha! Nonsense! Nothing will happen to us. Trust ."

"Stop right there!" A loud, booming voice glued everyone to their seats, and if they were standing up, they collapsed to the ground.

"Who dares kill in MY institute?!" An old man, presumably in his 70s, but extrely powerful, appeared in the sky above the duel grounds.

"S-Shit! It’s the headmaster!"

"W-We’re fucked!"

"! ! Over here! I did it!" Kai raised his hand.

"Boy! How dare you break the rules of this Institute! You will suffer the consequences of your actions, and Charlotte, you are suspended since you can’t keep your attention in check."

Though the headmaster was showing off his power, he noticed that Kai looked unaffected. ’Odd. This boy is strange.’

"Hahahahaha! You’re a real bastard, huh? Karumi, scare that guy a bit. Don’t kill him, though."

Karumi jumped off Kai’s neck, turning into her massive Nine-Tailed form. She easily overpowered the Headmaster’s strength and roared so loud that the bellow could be heard across the kingdom.

The headmaster was in shock. He didn’t expect Kai to have a summoned beast, nor did he expect to be overpowered by one. However, after feeling the power of Karumi, he knew that he couldn’t ss with Kai anymore.

’If my studies are correct, then a spirit beast can’t be more powerful than the summoner. S-So if the beast can overpower , then that ans...’ The headmaster looked at Kai, who had a grin on his face.

’Know your fucking place, trash.’ Kai said to the old man telepathically. He grabbed Charlotte’s hand, then teleported back to her ho, Karumi following behind.

"W-What just happened?" Soone asked

"That spirit beast overpowered the headmaster!"

"W-Was Kai holding back?!"

"I-If he was, then just how strong is he?"

The second prince was as scared as he was furious. He knew that if soone as powerful as Kai was supporting his younger brother, then his claim to the throne was as good as gone, and he would not allow that to be.

’I need to kill him! I need to kill him now!’
