Kai was flying over the open ocean, the darkness of the sky and the violent waves reminding him of when he first traveled to Eridani. The monsters were the sa as before, even spotting so that he hadn’t seen, but this ti, there was no underwater nation.

"Wow, the open ocean is pretty scary," Karumi said while on Kai’s neck as he flew toward the next continent.

"I thought you saw what the open ocean looked like already?"

"I did, but that was when we were inside your...uhh...flying tal bird."

"Ahh, that’s right." Kai forgot that he took the Jet to Astalith instead of taking a boat.

A giant sea monster jumped out of the ocean to eat Kai and Karumi, but he killed it with ease, flying right through the beast.

Soon, they saw land in sight and arrived at the next continent within an hour of flying.

"Wow, this place is all white!" Karumi didn’t expect to see snow on this continent. It did snow in the spirit world, but not often. In fact, it only snowed a handful of tis, and each ti it did, there was like a 100-year gap.

"I know, right! This continent is covered in snow! I fucking hate snow!" Kai’s first impression of the continent was already soured.

"Really? You hate snow? That’s...wow. I think snow is great."

"Of course you would, you arctic fox."

"Hey! I’m a Nine-Tailed Fox! Not whatever an Arctic Fox is!"

Kai chuckled, then landed in a random area. He didn’t want to land in the city, nor did he want to land in a village. So, he landed a bit away from civilization, in a frozen forest.

"So, what are we going to do?" Karumi asked, still on his neck in her wolf form.

"Have fun. I was supposed to have fun on every continent, but Astalith ended up becoming a job. I kind of want to have an adventure like when I first arrived in this world. Man, this is gonna be fun! I can’t wait to—"

Kai’s mind was taken to another realm, one where there was nothing but ice and snow. Right in front of him was a white palace with a woman who was extrely beautiful with white hair, white eyes, wearing a white dress and a white fur coat.

"Hello, Kai LuForia." The woman smiled.

"I’m guessing that you’re the goddess of this land?" Kai didn’t need to guess; he already knew that she was. He could feel her divine energy.

"That’s correct. My na is Frostina. The continent that you are on is called Skadi, the land of the frost."

"Ha, that’s pretty on the nose if you ask . Anyway, what did you call here for?"

Frostina squinted her eyes, looking Kai up and down. "Listen. Don’t start trouble here, okay? My sisters already told how you are, and I don’t want my land to suffer under your bullshit."

"Whoa! What do you an by that?!"

"Really? Every kingdom that you go to, you leave it in ruins. Okay, not ruins, per se, but a good bit of destruction."

Kai felt offended. "Well, yeah, I fight the demon kings, man."

"Oh, please. Sure, on Gracia’s continent, I can understand, you weren’t nearly as strong as you are now. But on Aquaphina’s and Rauna’s continent, no excuse."

He sighed. "That’s true."

"I don’t care what you do on my continent. Fuck as many won as you like, have hundreds of kids, steal wives, fiancées, do whatever, I don’t care. Just don’t leave my continent in ruin. Oh, and for the demon queen of my land, we have a truce, so you don’t even need to worry about that. If you still wish to kill them to put Morrigan’s sister in charge, then do as you like. And finally, for the person who has Progenitor Decay, it’s none other than the king. He was exposed to it on an expedition, got sick, and now the kingdom is divided between the factions of his sons."

"Damn, you just gave everything, huh?" Kai smiled.

"Yes. I don’t see why I shouldn’t. Anyway, you can join whatever faction you want, or not; it doesn’t matter."

This was the first ti Kai was talking to a goddess who didn’t really care what he did on the continent. It was pretty cool.

"So I can literally do whatever?" He asked

"Again, just don’t destroy the place. Other than that, I don’t care what you do. Oh, and if you decided to kill people, leave a good bit alive so they can repopulate. Creating them will be such a hassle."

Kai was starting to think that Frotina was his favorite goddess yet.

"Say less. Thanks for the tips and advice, I’ll see you later then." He teleported back to his body. He didn’t even know his soul could be pulled out of him like that now that he was a divine being. But it wasn’t that big of a deal.

"Hey, Karumi, how long has it been?" Kai asked when he got back

"Huh? What do you an? You were just talking, then you stopped, stared at the ground for five seconds, then asked how long it’s been."

"Ahh, that’s cool. Well, I t the goddess of this land. Her na is Frostina, apparently. Pretty hot woman, not gonna lie."

"Wow, that was quick."

"I know, right. Normally, I would have to go to a temple or a church. The land is called Skadi."

"Pretty cool na." Karumi nodded.

"Agreed. Anyway, ti to get changed." Kai changed his clothes from the fancy ones that he normally wore to baggy robes that had battle damage and were worn out.

"Why did you change?"

"Because I know what I plan on doing for my ti on this continent. On Sarkylla, I was a hunter and adventurer. On Eridani, I was a rcenary. And on Astalith, I was a...I don’t even know what the fuck I was. But for this land, I want to be a magic knight for a noble family. They’ll take in, see that I’m super powerful, then involve in their politics and shit. After that, I’ll join the civil war that will eventually break out, and team up with whoever the noble family supports."

"What if they support a shitty guy?"

Kai shrugged. "Why does that matter to us? We’re just here for fun. Whatever happens, happens."

"True that."

As Kai started to walk in a random direction, he heard the pants of multiple people.

"Quickly, my lord! This way! On this route, there is a cave we can rest in!" A man shouted.

"P-Please! Protect my wife and daughter! Leave !"

"No, father! Don’t leave us!"

"Dear! We need you!"

"Worry not, my lord! I will protect all of you!"

’Interesting.’ Kai smiled nacingly.
