Kai and the others made their way to the rcenary guild to start working. It would be their first experience, and Kai was really excited. The others, not so much.
Once they arrived, Kai tossed Carlo a gold coin, glad that they used the sa currency, and entered the guild.
The island had a good-sized population. Since this place was a town, not a village or hamlet, there were a lot of people in the rcenary guild.
The races were also the sa. Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Beastkins. As for the Dragonborn, they didn’t know.
One of the rcs spotted them entering the guild and whistled. "Hey, look, everyone, fresh at!"
"Hahaha!"
"They look so young."
"Go back to your mother’s house and suck on her tits, you youngins!"
"Hey, those girls are hot though."
"You think they’ll let us have so fun with them?"
"After they see my rank, they’ll be all over in no ti."
"You got that right!"
"Hahaha!"
All of Kai’s girls were disgusted. First of all, none of the n there were even attractive to them, and their attitudes were the worst. Besides, they only had eyes for Kai and Kai only.
"Ugh, fucking brutes." Kyana groaned.
"Disgusting." Nadya shook her head.
"I’m actually down to beat them up, if you all are up for it." Sasha cracked her knuckles
"Burning a few heads? Count in."
" too! I’ll cut off their dicks!"
No one could hear what the girls were saying because if they could, they wouldn’t be looking at them the sa.
Kai ignored all the chatter, not paying those lowlifes any attention. Since they talked about his girls in such a manner, they would suffer the consequences, but his main priority was getting a job and making sure his license worked here.
"Hey, shrimp dick." A man called out to Kai. "How about you let us have so fun with those beauties behind you, huh? You don’t look like the type of man who can handle all that."
Kai could, in fact, handle all that.
He looked at the man, disgust riddled on his face. "Watch your mouth, or I’ll watch it for you." He threatened.
"Ohohoho! Carolus, you gonna take that from a kid?"
Carolus stood up from his seat, standing at a staggering 7’3. His muscles bulged, and his foot steps made the establishnt shake.
"I don’t like the way you spoke to , young blood."
"I don’t give a damn. Now get out of my way or my boot will be the last thing you see."
"Pwahahahaha! This kid doesn’t know who he’s ssing with."
"He’s so dead now!"
"We can have as much fun as we want with the girls now."
"It seems I need to give you a lesson on who you’re talking to. My na is Carolus Blandman, and I’m a tier-5 Torrent."
’Torrent? The fuck is that? Is this the term for warrior here? Maybe it is, since a torrent is a strong and fast stream of water, and this is an island nation where water is abundant.’
"Good for you, want a cookie?" Kai asked
"This bastard! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!" Carolus swung his fist as hard and fast as he could at Kai’s chest. He had every intention of killing him for the disrespect Kai showed and to have fun with his girls.
What he didn’t expect was his arm bones shattering the mont his fist connected with Kai’s chest.
"AAAARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" He bellowed in pain, clutching his shattered arm. The pain was so intense that he nearly passed out. But he couldn’t. He wasn’t going to let Kai trample all over him.
Carolus swung his other arm. "DIE YOU BASTARD!"
Kai caught his arm with ease, twisting it alongside Carolus’s body and slamming him onto his back with a devastating crack. Then, he lifted his foot and stomped on his face, crushing his head, killing him.
Then, he fired a beam from his finger that split into multiple beams, and they each penetrated the heads of the n who were talking about his won.
"Anyone else?" He asked, looking around.
No one answered.
"That’s what I fucking thought." Kai walked over to the receptionist.
"Fuck, that made so wet." Kyana was biting her lips and wanted Kai to take her right now.
"H-H=How may I help you?" The woman behind the counter asked, slightly scared of Kai.
"Hello. We’re here to find so jobs for Bronze III rcenaries."
"Bronze III?" The woman was confused
’Shit, do they go by a different system?’
"Yeah? Is there a problem?" He asked
"N-No, it’s just that you seem a lot stronger than a Bronze III rcenary." She eyed the bloody ss that was the n Kai killed.
"Oh! Haha, yeah. We’re all S-Rank adventurers as well. That’s why. And sorcerers."
Upon hearing this, everyone in the guild shifted. If they had known even one of those pieces of information, they wouldn’t have ssed with them.
So of the guys there sighed in relief since they kept their mouths shut.
"I wanted to start at the bottom of the ranks. So, do you have any work for a couple of rcenaries?"
"Y-Yes. You can find job requests on the listing board over there. May I have your IDs to register you with this guild?" She asked
"Sure!"
Each of them handed their IDs to the woman, and seeing that they were actually in fact S-Ranks made her nearly pass out. She even noticed that Kai was a Primal hunter.
’So primal hunters exist here too, and the ranking is the sa. That’s great.’
"Here you all go. You’re registered and you can start working." The receptionist bowed.
"Sweet. Alright, team, let’s go have so fun!"
All of them groaned.
"Fun, he says, then we have to start off with fucking fetch quests," Gwen grumbled.
"I can’t knock heads off with Bronze jobs!"
"Damn, no valuables to steal either."
"You know, while this does suck, I’m glad we’re back on land." Kyana smiled
"We know! Get over it already!"
Kyana hmphed. "Fuck you guys."
"Kai, these jobs are not the best."
"Yeah, okay, they might suck, but it’s either this or Synergy!"
All of them froze.
"You know, maybe these jobs arent so bad."
"I’m sure there is a plant or two I can cut down."
"As a dwarf, all rocks are treasure in my eyes."
"Again, I’m just glad to be on land."
"I don’t think I want to experience that again."
Kai smiled. "Haha! Works like a charm."
