Three days had passed, and it was currently the night of the festival. Kai was prepared for his date with Sonya, but she had stood him up. When he went to pick her up, she had left a note saying...
’Did you seriously think I would go on a date with you after making a fool out of ? You’d better join that tournant in the festival so I can beat your fucking ass!’
Kai admitted that he was slightly bumd. He was looking forward to the date. He even dressed nicely. So, instead, he took Janna out and they had a blast. But unfortunately, she had to go since she was one of the Key figures of the festival and had to make sure the place was secure.
Now, on the day of the festival, Kai was not impressed. It was just an overglorified science fair and talent show in his eyes. The festival was simply a place where people could show off what they’ve learned over the sester, and where clubs would show the reason why they could be fun to join.
Kai sighed deeply as he sat alone. All of his girls were off sowhere doing their own thing, and Kai simply wasn’t interested in anything that was going on. He just wanted to leave.
Then he saw the Church of Gracia arrive, pissing him off even more. He had just gotten back from going balls deep into Celeste, being her hero, and beating the demon king. But now, unbeknownst to him, he had to make an appearance here.
"Hello, dear." Celeste smiled, taking a seat next to him.
"So when were you going to tell that I needed to make an appearance here?"
"I-I’m sorry." She lowered her head in sha. "I ant to tell you at your celebration, but I got distracted and then we made love and...well, you know the rest."
"Mmhmm, sure."
"S-So, are you participating in the festival? I-I an, besides your mandatory role?"
"Nope. Just gonna sit back and relax until I need to make an appearance. Stay there, I’ll be using your thighs as a lap pillow. Wake up when I need to show myself."
Kai plopped his head on Celeste’s lap and fell asleep.

"Wow, I can’t believe that a lot of people are attending this festival. A ton of families are here." Kyana was surprised by how packed it was.
"That’s because we also take this ti to recruit people into the academy. Not to ntion that the hero is making an appearance." Janna responded. She chuckled slightly when ntioning the hero since she already knew it was Kai, and she also knew how he felt about being the hero.
"Besides, this is a ti to get together and celebrate the founding of this academy. Everyone is welco on this day."
"I’m just glad that Lissana isn’t here! That’s ugly bitch!" Amaya hissed
"Is it true that you guys financially ruined their house?" Janna heard the story from Kai, but didn’t believe him because it was really ridiculous.
"Yup. Stole all of their money, valuable items, and killed all of their contacts. So, they can only crumble to the ground now." Erald felt good saying that. She hated the Calabacks and was glad that they were gone.
"They should be thankful that we didn’t kill them." Everyone was shocked that Nadya would say sothing like that, but when the nicest person is that angry, you just go along with what they say and don’t say anything back.
"So this also ans the story about you all destroying the Cheston house is true as well?" Janna wondered.
Nadya didn’t even hesitate to confirm that. "Oh yeah! We killed those bastards. Best ti of my life!"
"We took all their things as well," Sasha added
Vanessa looked confused. "Isn’t Kai already rich? Why take more valuable items?"
"So we can beco richer," Sasha said as if the answer was obvious.
"Whoa, look at her go. She’s really making everyone look like a fool." Amaya said as she pointed at Sonya, who was currently demolishing people in the tournant.
"Sonya? What is she doing here?" Gwen wondered
"You know her?" The others asked
"Yeah, she’s the daughter of our tribal leader. She was also the only person to be nice to back at ho. But she left the clan before I did to pursue greater strengths."
"Well, she’s strong, alright. She was the only person in our school to be a Rank-7 magic warrior until you all arrived. After the demon king appeared, she vowed to get stronger." Janna gave Sonya a thumbs-up for doing well in the tournant.
She easily breezed through them, winning the whole thing, and wanted to challenge the hero to test her strength. But she had to wait until it was ti for him to make an appearance. So, in the anti, she kept accepting challenges.
"Look at her go, not stopping. She’s a battle maniac." Janna teased
"So, Janna, do you like Kai?" Kyana wondered.
"Yup. I do. He’s tall, powerful, handso, funny, and is a nice guy." Her expression softened as she gushed over him.
All of Kai’s girls looked at each other and couldn’t help but laugh. "Pffwahahahaha! Kai? I an, sure, he’s so of those things, but he’s definitely not a nice guy."
"T-Then why are you all with him?"
"What? Because he’s the best there is, duh." Gwen said as if that were a no-brainer
"Kai is so cool!" Amaya expressed.
"He saved my life and I fell in love." Sasha responded nonchalantly.
"He saved my life as well, and I eventually fell for his charm." Kyana didn’t want to admit it, but she did anyway.
"It’s the sa for ." Nadya smiled, thinking back to the ti when he freed her from slavery.
"He showed what it was like to be a real man, and I never looked back." Vanessa started drooling at the thought of Kai, and she wanted him to ss her up right now.
"...Anyway, Kai likes you too and I’m sure he already sees you as a part of his harem. So don’t even try and ask him out. Just act as if you’re his girl and he’ll just go along since he already sees you that way."
Hearing Gwen say that really made Janna’s heart skip a beat. She was too nervous to tell Kai how she felt, but now that she knows that he likes her as well, she was going to do what Gwen suggested.
"Hello everyone, may I have your attention?"
Everyone stopped and turned to the person who was speaking.
"Ladies and Gentlen, I introduce to you, the Hero of Gracia!"
