"Okay, did you guys hear about the superpowers going missing? People have been talking about it for a bit. Not only that, but the demon I faced said that the heroes and superpowers won’t be able to win against the demon king."
Kirlia and Janna started to catch on.
"They’re capturing them!" Kirlia shouted, slamming her hands on the table.
"D-Do you think that they want to kill them? I heard about demons using humans as sacrifices to the demon king." Janna was worried about her father and hoped he wasn’t killed.
"Hmmm. I doubt that." Kai shook his head. "When I was in Ashenfall, a demon nad Dante was feeding off of human sacrifices, but the humans there weren’t powerful at all. Well, they weren’t as powerful as superpowers. If I were a demon, I would capture the superpowers to use them as batteries to fuel the resurrection of the demon king. Killing them would be a waste."
’I’ve read enough fantasy to co to that conclusion. The worst-case scenario is that they are dead, and if that’s the reality of things, then oh well. I’m sure these two beautiful won would need so comfort and love to get over their grief, hehe.’
Kirlia nodded, agreeing with Kai’s reasoning. "T-That makes sense. Since you’re also a superpower, are you able to contact so who hasn’t been captured yet?"
"Nah. I only registered, and I’m not in contact with any of them. I have no clue who or where they are. The only superpowers I’ve t, according to my mory, are my adventure team, Kassandra....OH SHIT KASSANDRA!"
Kai totally forgot that she was a superpower as well. He instantly sent a clone to her to see how she was doing. He wasn’t too worried because he placed protection around their ho and her body, but it was better to be safe than sorry.
’She’s good, bro. Happy to see us, too. There was a demon who ca here, but she killed it in one shot and reported it to the church. So now, Ashenfall completely surrounded by Holy Knights, Paladins, Priests, and Priestesses. So sexy nuns as well.’ Clone Kai inford Main Kai.
’Phew, thank god. Just stay there for now, in case anything happens.’

"Is everything okay?" Kirlia asked
"Yeah, eveything’s fine. Let’s continue."

Hector was doing his daily patrol of the estate to make sure everything was in order. He passed knights, guards, maids, and butlers, greeting them all with respect.
He was a highly respected individual of the Gryff household, but he stayed humble, never using his position to bully others, and never thought he was better than the less fortunate.
But one thing irked him.
’How close is she with that boy?! Are they together? No, she’s a noble and he’s a commoner. But the Madam was familiar with him and was even invited to her study. Not only that, but he’s in the hero academy. Maybe I’m thinking too much.’
When he passed by a couple of maids, sothing he did every day, he heard one of them talking about what they saw earlier.
"Yeah, I was shocked. Young Lady Janna had that boy in her room. What was his na? Kai?"
"He’s a real cutie!"
"I know, right! I want to sit on his face."
"The young Lady is lucky to have a friend that handso!"
"But that’s just it! He wasn’t just in her room, but his arm was wrapped around her, and she was lying on him as well. When I entered the room, they didn’t even pretend to be doing sothing else. I think they’re in a relationship."
"Kyaaa! That’s so taboo!"
"But it’s so hot!"
"I want to be in his arms!"
"But isn’t she supposed to marry Sir Hector?"
"No, that was just on the table if Lord Ian couldn’t find a suitor for her. But it seems like she found one on her own, one that even the Lady approves of. Did you see how familiar they were with each other?"
Upon hearing the maids, Hector beca furious! For the longest ti, he was in love with Janna, and they were always close with one another. He never overstepped the boundary that was set between them because of her status, but he always respected and loved her.
Then, to hear that so random man ca and snatched his love away from him, he was not having that.
His aura exploded, and he stord off to find Kai.
Luckily for him, he didn’t need to search for too long as Kai walked out of the mansion with Janna, arm in arm with him. His anger rose once more, but it quickly died down.
’What am I doing? This is beneath . While I don’t like young lady Janna being intimate with him, all I have to do is show her that I’m more fit to be her partner. I’ll challenge this Kai dude to a duel, phrase it as myself wanting to fight soone from the hero academy, beat his ass, and call it a day. Yeah, let’s do that.’
Kai and Janna stopped walking, waiting for Kirlia to arrive since they were all going to et with the military. She wanted to gather a few things before they left.
"Just don’t teleport us to the sky again." Janna teased
"I have no idea where the military camp is anyway, so we’ll probably be taking my carriage."
"Hello. May I have a word with you?" Hector asked, stepping up to Kai.
Janna smiled as she saw Hector. "Oh, Hector! This is great, we were looking for you."
"If you will excuse , young miss, I would like to speak with your friend." He said in a firm but polite tone.
"What’s up? I have a feeling that you’re not going to give a muffin." Kai frowned
"W-Why would I give you a muffin?"
"I don’t know. I just want one right now. So, what do you want?"
"What do I want?" Hector took a deep breath before speaking up again. "I wish to challenge you to a duel."
