Lightnova.
She was flying at the speed of light toward Gimpo airport.
"Ji-hye! Listen to , Indigo brought an associate with wind powers, she calls herself Windra. Be very careful when fighting her."
The director said through Lightnova’s earpiece as she flew.
"Understood, Director!"
From a distance, Lightnova could see about seven large tornadoes surrounding the airport.
’This power... isn’t this the sa power as that woman from yesterday?’
This wind power was the sa one used by the woman who caused yesterday’s riot in the city center.
However, it seed like she had awakened.
Visible from outside the airport, a helicopter was broadcasting the situation live.
Lightnova then landed at a gate entrance to the airport where soldiers were standing guard.
"Ah! Ms. Lightnova!"
"What’s the situation?"
"Right now, there are approximately 583 civilians trapped inside, and we’ve just gotten word that a plane will be forced to land here because it’s running out of fuel, bringing the total to 736."
"Ugh... damn it."
*On Indigo’s Side*
Hmm... it looks like Lightnova has arrived.
I can guess she landed at the airport gate.
I then stood up from the chair I was sitting in.
Walking slowly.
Past the trembling, fear-stricken employees who were bowing their heads.
"Do all of you want to get out of here?" I asked them.
"..."
There was no answer; they seed too terrified to reply.
"I won’t repeat myself... do all of you want to get out of here?"
"Y-Yes... we want to get out of here..."
"Good... if you want to leave this place, then do sothing for ."
*On Windra’s Side*
She was sitting atop the back of a man who was on his hands and knees.
Hah... this is so boring... why do I have to just wait like this?
Windra then looked ahead, where many terrified people were sitting, waiting for backup.
"You know what? If it weren’t for my boss’s orders... I probably would’ve massacred all of you, so after this, you should thank my boss for forbidding from killing you."
Windra said in a bored tone, resting her head on her fist, signifying her weariness.
"Ahem... ah, hello everyone, this is Indigo... I’d like to inform you that the plane that’s about to land at this airport is going to crash."
Hearing Indigo’s voice over the microphone, Windra suddenly got excited again.
"So, whoever is out there, I know that so of you are pretending to be hostages while secretly relaying information right now."
"Tell Lightnova to stop the crashing plane, and then I will set all of you free~"
With that, the microphone cut out.
*Outside the Airport*
"What!? He’s asking Lightnova to stop a crashing plane!? Has he lost his mind?"
Hearing that, Lightnova imdiately approached the soldier who was speaking into his earpiece.
"What is it?"
"Uh... well, Ms. Lightnova... Indigo wants you to stop the plane that’s currently falling."
Hearing this, Lightnova’s expression turned grim.
’After this... I am truly going to catch you.’
"Alright... no matter what... I have to stop that crashing plane. After all, there are many innocent people inside."
With that, Lightnova shot into the sky at imnse speed.
She saw the plane plumting like a missile.
Both of the plane’s wings were visibly on fire; it looked like Indigo had done sothing to it.
Lightnova then stretched out both her hands, using her light powers to form a net of light.
The light net struck the plane.
"Ugh!"
It was incredibly powerful; Lightnova seed to be struggling.
The light threads slowly started to snap one by one under the imnse pressure.
It was so strong that Lightnova’s breathing beca ragged.
Her face began to turn red as her power was being drained significantly.
"HAAHHH!!"
Lightnova then scread, and the light net began to push the plane backward.
The light net started to completely envelop the plane; finally, Lightnova managed to halt the crashing aircraft.
With her last bit of strength, she gently placed the plane down on the ground using her light power.
Lightnova then collapsed to the ground, kneeling.
She gasped for breath.
Then, a voice bood loudly over a microphone, so loud that it could be heard from outside the airport.
"Amazing!! The power of an S-rank Hero is truly magnificent! As promised, I’ll stop here."
With that, the voice from the microphone vanished.
*Inside the Airport*
I walked toward Windra.
"Let’s call off our operation. Our business here is done."
"What? Ugh... Can’t we fight her? Isn’t she exhausted right now?"
"No, we must stop our action now, as per my promise."
"Ugh... fine."
With a disappointed tone, Windra nodded.
She then approached , placing her hand on my shoulder.
I turned to face the people.
"See you at my next act! Look forward to it!"
With that, I tipped my hat as if to salute, and then vanished along with Windra.
The tornadoes outside, all of them dissipated.
*At Yoo Jinhoo’s House*
I sat comfortably on the sofa in my living room.
I then looked at Kim Gae-in’s face, which seed sullen.
Like a woman who had hoped for sothing from her boyfriend but was rejected.
Maybe it was just my imagination.
"I’m going to take a shower first."
"..."
After saying that, Kim Gae-in walked straight to the bathroom with a towel draped over her shoulder.
I simply watched her in silence.
"Mira!"
I called out to Lee Mira. Lee Mira ca down the stairs.
"Yes? What is it, big brother?"
"Where’s Donghyun?"
"Ah, my brother just went out to buy so groceries. I also asked him to get ice cream when he cos back!"
Hearing Lee Mira’s cheerful voice, I smiled warmly.
I then felt my pants pocket; there were so candies.
"Do you want a candy?"
"Of course, I do!"
With that, Lee Mira approached and took the candy from my hand.
*At the Market*
Lee Donghyun.
He was saved by Indigo Reign, whose real na is Yoo Jinhoo, Korea’s S-rank Villain.
After they were rescued, Lee Donghyun intended to repay Yoo Jinhoo’s kindness.
Even if it wasn’t by returning the favor in the sa way, Lee Donghyun promised to help Yoo Jinhoo achieve his goal, even though Yoo Jinhoo himself hadn’t stated what his goal truly was.
But there was one thing certain in Lee Donghyun’s mind:
Lightnova.
Korea’s first S-rank Hero.
For so reason, Lee Donghyun felt like Yoo Jinhoo was obsessed with her.
Lee Donghyun knew Lightnova was beautiful, but wasn’t it a bit excessive to constantly focus attention on just one Hero?
Though, the truth, according to Yoo Jinhoo, Lightnova was the key to world peace.
He wasn’t obsessed with Lightnova; rather, he was trying to increase Lightnova’s strength and train her in a harsh manner.
Back to the Present.
Lee Donghyun was walking, carrying shopping bags.
He glanced around him.
There were many people also shopping in the market.
And certainly, Lee Donghyun knew that 99% of them were scamrs.
Why? Because earlier, while Lee Donghyun was shopping, he saw a vendor manipulating the scales to make items appear heavier and more expensive.
Lee Donghyun is the person who hates scamrs the most.
As Lee Donghyun walked toward the market exit, he suddenly felt a very chilling aura, an absolutely terrifying presence.
Lee Donghyun looked around; it turned out that many people also felt it, so even crying in fear.
Lee Donghyun then scanned his surroundings, looking for the direction from which the terrifying aura was coming.
He then looked up at the top of a building.
It was...
Indigo?
A man wearing a suit, a cloak, a hat, and a black mask was visible on the rooftop.
’Why is Brother Jinhoo committing an act of terror here? Isn’t he currently at Gimpo airport, committing an act of terror there?’
What was actually going on? That was Lee Donghyun’s thought.
Suddenly, Lee Donghyun’s phone rang.
It was a call from his younger sister, Lee Mira.
"Hello, big brother! Hurry up and co ho, Brother Jinhoo is back."
"W-What...?"
Lee Donghyun felt very confused.
"Hello? Big brother? What’s wrong? Your breathing sounds heavy."
"Ah... I’ll be right back."
With that, Lee Donghyun hung up the phone.
Lee Donghyun then observed the person impersonating Indigo more closely.
’He... he has glowing red eyes.’
Lee Donghyun noticed one difference: the eyes behind the black mask were glowing red; he wasn’t Yoo Jinhoo.
He was a fake Indigo.
Suddenly, the surrounding area began to explode.
Explosions were everywhere, and people started to panic.
"I have to tell Brother Jinhoo about this..."
