Chapter 841: Chapter 841: Played by Her_1
“Is it her?”
The guard who was grabbed was startled for a mont, then quickly realized what was happening and hurriedly retreated.
Lin Caisang walked unobstructed in Prince Mo’s Mansion and soon arrived outside Ya Molian’s study. Just as she was about to enter, she saw soone coming out of the study. Upon seeing her, their eyes widened in surprise.
“Master, how did you co here?”
The person who erged from the study was none other than Zhong You.
“Zhong You? I’m looking for Brother Molian. Where is he?” Lin Caisang was briefly stunned, then she imdiately asked.
“Grandmaster has gone out. He’s not been in the mansion these past few days. I heard Zhe Jue saying that he seems to be waiting for soone sowhere. I don’t know the details,” Zhong You explained.
Upon hearing this, Lin Caisang realized where Ya Molian must have gone—he was probably at the courtyard he had taken her to before.
Raising her hand, she tapped her forehead lightly, scolding herself inwardly. Ya Molian had reminded her before that he would wait for her in that courtyard, yet she had completely forgotten about it.
“How have you been getting on here?”
Since she had run into Zhong You, it was only natural to inquire about his well-being.
“I’m getting along well. Grandmaster treats
very well, and Brother Jiang Zuo has also been teaching
dical skills,” Zhong You replied.
“That’s good. I have so matters to attend to, and I’ll co speak with you again when I’m free,” Lin Caisang nodded, without adding anything else.
She was in a hurry to find Ya Molian. Now that she knew he was in the courtyard, she could go there directly.
However, after walking only a few steps outside, she suddenly rembered sothing. She turned around, approached Zhong You, and reached into her small bag to take out two books, which she handed to him.
“Try to morize the content of these two books; it’ll benefit your study of dicine. If Jiang Zuo wants to look at them, he can learn as well,” she said.
These were the books Lin Chushui had morized for a hidden task in the Jinzhu Space. The other two books weren’t dical texts, so they wouldn’t be much use to Zhong You at the mont, but Lin Caisang thought these two would be suitable for him.
After instructing him, she waited for Zhong You to take the books from her hands before she turned around and left.
…
She had left Prince Mo’s Mansion eagerly heading towards the courtyard where Ya Molian was.
But not long after departing from the mansion, Lin Caisang keenly felt that she was being followed. Moreover, the person tracking her was incredibly discreet, almost unable to be detected.
If it were not for her Jinzhu Space, which would cause the bead on her necklace to heat up and alert her to danger, she would probably not have noticed the tracking.
“It seems that Shaohua City is really not peaceful.”
With a twitch of her mouth, she silently took a turn into an alley at the corner.
The woman who was following her also entered the alley. Soon after, she turned back out with a look of panic on her face and turned towards another person at the entrance of the alley.
“Did you see anyone co out?”
“No, what happened, did you lose them?”
The man guarding the alley entrance was also extrely surprised and asked.
“Damn it!”
Upon hearing his words, the woman gritted her teeth in frustration.
“She tricked , that’s a dead-end alley!”
When she followed Lin Caisang in, she had felt sothing was odd. It was only upon arriving that she discovered it was actually a dead-end alley. She blad herself for being too careless; she had never imagined that the young girl would be so clever.
