Then she removed a porcelain bottle, opened it, and poured the white powder inside on the silver needles that had pierced Suri’s pressure points. In a short while, when the silver needles were placed in the other cup, they appeared to be colorless.
Only then did she place the tea cup casually on the table and put away the silver needles.
