Chapter 359: Chapter 359: Difficult to get off a tiger’s back

“Alright then, have him co over.”

She nodded, but after pondering for a mont, she added another sentence.

“Brother Molian, please have him co as soon as possible. I’m likely going to be quite busy these next few days.”

No matter how precious this ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’ is, she must obtain it. The poison in the Elder Princess is entirely dependent on this ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’.

Furthermore, the poison in Ya Molian’s body would also require the use of ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’ in the future. This is what’s called being prepared.

“You’re still planning on obtaining this ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’?” Ya Molian asked, his brows furrowed.

“Of course.”

Lin Caisang nodded with utmost conviction.

“The efficacy of this ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’ can’t be replicated by any other dicinal herb. I would love to use other herbs as substitutes, but it’s clear that it’s not feasible. We’ll still need it.

If we really can’t obtain the ‘Earth Yin Bead’, then acquiring the seeds of the ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’ along with the ‘Tianyang Bead’ is also feasible. As long as we have either the ‘Tianyang Bead’ or ‘Earth Yin Bead’, I’m confident I can cure the Elder Princess’s poison.”

After hearing her words, Ya Molian fell silent for a while before questioning her again.

“Do you have ti to go to Youxiang River?”

“Well…”

Thinking about the issue of timing, Lin Caisang paused, clearly hesitant.

She only had four days. The Youxiang River was just too far away from Jianan City. Even if she rides non-stop day and night, she wouldn’t have enough ti. How could she possibly have ti to collect the ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’?

Therefore, to have ample ti, she would need to leave from here. Yejun is near Wei State. To travel to Youxiang River and back from here, would take only two days, leaving her with two days to search for the ‘Absolute Jail Ginseng’.

But here…

If she were to disappear without a trace for several days, what would they do if they couldn’t find her?

Each and every one of these issues was a problem, not to ntion that the Elder Princess’s health wouldn’t allow her to be away for four days. She also needs to amalgamate the three types of poison in the Elder Princess’s body into one.

“Knowing this, I wouldn’t have administered the body-conditioning dicine to the Elder Princess so early. Now I’m in a difficult position.”

She sighed lightly as she spoke.

Even with the wisdom of hindsight, regretting now is of no use. It doesn’t matter how early she knew, if the Elder Princess’s health continues to deteriorate, saving her would be the sa as not saving her.

“Why do you insist on saving the Elder Princess?” Ya Molian asked.

“You wouldn’t understand.”

Lin Caisang was feeling anxious, and had no intention to hide anything when she spoke.

“I took on a task. This isn’t just about the amount of points involved. If the Elder Princess ends up dying and I can’t complete my task, then I can only wait to be… uh.”

Her words trailed off as she realised she nearly revealed too much.

But she wasn’t wrong. If she failed the task, she could only wait to be sent sowhere unknown in the Golden Bead Dinsion for punishnt.

Even though she still didn’t know what the supposed punishnt was, the penalty for a normal task was described to be severe by the Jade Mirror. As this was a special task, she could imagine she’d be severely punished even if she managed to survive.

“Punished by what?”

Ya Molian’s gaze darkened as he asked.

He did know that Sang was performing so mission but he’d never heard of anyone in the world being able to accept such a mission, being able to move between Yejun and Jianan City in an instant.

Regardless, since Sang had accepted this mission, all he could do was accompany her.

But he had not expected that failing such a mission would result in consequences, was it a punishnt?
