Chapter 283: Chapter 283 ‘No Worries for Food and Drinks
“Perhaps for you, this might be good news,” Ya Molian contemplated, then said.
“Hmm?”
Lin Caisang was even more puzzled.
How could there possibly be good news? Had Liu Baixiao offended soone else again?
“Today, Zhe Jue overheard sothing Liu Rui said outside the Liu family house,” Ya Molian began.
“What did she say?” Lin Caisang imdiately asked.
“She said, ‘She’s eating alone when there’s food to share. She really isn’t my own…’ Liu Rui didn’t dare to finish her sentence. What do you think she’s implying by this?” Ya Molian countered.
Lin Caisang frowned upon hearing this.
“I’ve been thinking, no matter what, Liu Chushui is supposed to be Liu Rui’s own child. How could she be so ruthless towards him? Unless Liu Chushui isn’t actually Liu Rui’s biological child?!”
That would explain everything.
How could a selfish person like Liu Rui treat soone without blood ties kindly? All the beating and scolding now made sense.
“And Liu Baixiao…” Lin Caisang looked up at Ya Molian.
“Do you think Liu Baixiao, who has been behaving like a grandson in the Liu family, would dare to raise another woman’s child?” Ya Molian anticipated her thoughts and responded with a question.
“So, you’re saying that Liu Chushui really has no connection to that family”
Upon saying this, Lin Caisang couldn’t help but chuckle. She had thought the Liu family had produced such a unique individual, but it turned out he was grafted from the outside. No wonder.
“Can you investigate this matter for ?”
She genuinely wanted to help Liu Chushui and also wondered how soone like Liu Rui could willingly raise a child that wasn’t even her own.
“Sure,”
Ya Molian nodded.
“What about Liu Baixiao? Shall we…”
“Give him a beating, so severe that he is bed-bound for a couple of weeks,” Lin Caisang finished his sentence.
“Hmph! When he’s able to finally get out of bed, we’ll beat him again. Until Liu Chushui heals from his injuries, I won’t allow him out of bed. I’m going to make him lie there and be taken care of by Liu Rui, making sure he’s well-fed!”
She spouted a string of angry words, then rembered to ask, “Do you think my Second Uncle knows about Liu Chushui’s situation?”
Before he could answer, she shook her head.
“Impossible. It would be strange if Liu Chushui could grow up in that house if he knew.”
Liu Baixiao was a despicable man. He was a coward, a bully, vindictive, selfish, and many other distasteful words fit him perfectly.
If such a man knew Liu Chushui wasn’t his biological child, he wouldn’t have let him stay.
“Wait for my answer,” Ya Molian concluded, without making any assumptions.
“Okay.”
Lin Caisang nodded.
…
The Liu Family residence.
After all the turmoil, the terrified Liu Baixiao was still sleeping like a log. His snoring was so loud that it seed it could shake the ground. As Ya Molian led Lin Caisang inside, she couldn’t help but cover her ears.
Without wasting any words, Ya Molian put Liu Rui to sleep and turned to Lin Caisang.
“How do you want to beat him?”
Hearing this, Lin Caisang just raised an eyebrow, her gaze sweeping towards Liu Baixiao.
She reached out, lifted the covers off Liu Rui, and threw them over Liu Baixiao’s head. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, she produced a stick and lashed out at Liu Baixiao.
The next second, Liu Baixiao’s scream pierced the air, hurting Ya Molian’s eardrums.
He just turned his head away, unable to watch his future wife’s violent tendencies. She was literally aiming to beat Liu Baixiao to death.
