Could it be that she intended to release him, to let him return to Lu Tianfeng’s side?

again! I won’t let you! Not a chance!" He shivered, putting on a facade of ferocity as he shouted at Lin Caisang.
"Hah."
Lin Caisang sneered softly.
"Ziyou, Ding Rong, take good care of him for the next few days. Make sure he looks utterly miserable."
Her gaze swept over Yin Lvqing, sizing him up, as she gave instructions to the two people behind her.
"Of course, but make sure that face is well-tended. If Lu Tianfeng doesn’t recognize him, who am I supposed to send him to?" She paused to add after so thought.
"Understood, Sister-in-law," Sui Ziyou responded.
