Chapter 1856: Chapter 1856: Is Everything Alright?

“Zhong You, these days, you’ll follow Brother Molian.”

After that day, Zhong You, who had been following Sui Zimo, began to get busy. He worked so hard every day that he fell asleep as soon as night arrived, and almost no one saw him anymore.

A few days later, Lin Caisang and her party left Ya Village, taking a carriage toward Jianan City.

The journey was peaceful and, thanks to their disguises, they were not recognized. A month later, they settled in the Elder Princess’ Mansion in Jianan City.

Zhong You was still nowhere to be seen, and Lin Changhong and Zhe Jue also disappeared from view. Though a large group of people had co to the Princess’ Mansion, in the end, only the Elder Princess, Lin Caisang, and Sui Zimo appeared before others.

The Eldest Prince and the Second Prince, upon learning that their aunt had returned with their cousin, rushed over to visit.

But they were all turned away by the Elder Princess.

The reason was that her precious daughter had just arrived after many days of travel and needed to rest properly for a few days before she felt like eting anyone from outside.

The two princes left dejectedly, and then the Emperor sent soone to inquire, wishing to invite Lin Caisang to the palace.

The sa treatnt was ted out by the Elder Princess, who sent the ssenger back with a ssage that no one would see her family woman before she had rested well!

Less than half an hour passed before another visitor arrived at the Princess’ Mansion.

This person could not be turned away by the Elder Princess; she had to welco him in.

“Auntie, I heard that Sangsang ca with you. Where is she?” The visitor was Lin Changfeng, who had been left to serve as an official in Jianan City.

Six months had turned him into a commanding and prestigious governnt official. His gaze at the Elder Princess had changed, no longer filled with the intense smile of the past.

But how could he not co to see his cousin when she had arrived?

“Sangsang has just returned and said she was sleepy. She’s sleeping right now, after all, having traveled for a while,” the Elder Princess replied to him.

She beckoned Lin Changfeng to sit, and they began to chat.

“Changfeng, co, sit down. How have you settled into life in Jianan City these days? Is everything all right?”

“I’m accustod to it, it’s all good. The Eldest Prince and the Second Prince have taken good care of ,” Lin Changfeng replied.

“That’s good to hear.”

The Elder Princess felt reassured upon hearing his words.

Before she left, she had entrusted her two nephews with the care of Lin Changfeng, who was unfamiliar with the place. Besides her, he had no family in Jianan City.

n should not rely too much on others when away from ho and should carve out their own place in the world. Nevertheless, having soone to support you is always good.

“Before coming here, your mother asked

to bring you two sets of clothes. She sewed them herself. I’ve brought them for you. You can get them later.”

She instructed Lin Changfeng.

“Thank you, Auntie,” Lin Changfeng expressed his gratitude.

“There’s no need to thank ,” the Elder Princess laughed softly.

The two of them sat together, talking and waiting for Lin Caisang to wake up.

anwhile, Lin Caisang, who was supposed to be resting, wasn’t resting at all. Instead, she was in the Golden Pearl Space, observing the red oval cocoons in the pasture space.

“Are these ice silkworm cocoons?”

She reached out, her index finger touched one of the tiny cocoons, and then she imdiately withdrew her hand.

“It’s actually hot.”

All the ice silkworms had turned into red cocoons, but after they all cocooned, she discovered that they weren’t ice silkworm cocoons at all, but fire silkworm cocoons.
