Chapter 1605: Chapter 1605: It Will Be Too Much to Handle
“Yes, I understand,”
Lin Chushui nodded, having co to terms with this matter long ago.
“Sister Sangsang, don’t worry. I’ll be fine and won’t let anyone bully ,” he said.
“Huh.”
Lin Caisang let out a deep sigh as she looked at Lin Chushui.
“When are your parents planning to leave?” she asked.
“My mother wants to leave right now, but I’m not willing. I was thinking maybe we could depart early tomorrow morning. Sister Sangsang, what do you think?” Lin Chushui inquired.
Upon hearing this, Lin Caisang bit her lip in thought for a mont before lifting her head.
“Let’s depart early tomorrow morning. I’ll prepare so things for you,” she said.
“Okay.”
Lin Chushui nodded in agreent.
…
Within the Golden Pearl space, Lin Caisang sighed as she looked towards the Jade Mirror.
She figured that Brother Molian must still be busy with the affair of poisoning Sui Zijin and, having completed several virtual tasks in a row, it was ti he rested.
“Brother Jade Mirror, do you think I can take on virtual tasks alone?” she asked the mirror.
There are so things she had to learn to face on her own after all. She couldn’t always depend on Zimo, could she?
Even spouses can’t always be together all the ti.
‘Master, do you wish to take on a virtual task?’
A line of text appeared within the Jade Mirror, phrased as a question.
Lin Caisang rolled her eyes, sowhat speechless with the Jade Mirror.
It’s almost like the mirror wanted her to undertake a hundred virtual tasks a day. She had clearly asked if it was possible, yet the Jade Mirror went straight to asking if she wanted to take on a task.
Of course, she wanted to take on tasks, but how to do so was the issue.
After all, without Zimo by her side, she felt a bit uncertain, didn’t she?
“Let’s not take on a task for now. I haven’t handed over my Seven-Aperture Bead to the Golden Pearl Command. Do you think, if I hand it over, I could earn so extra rit points?” she queried the mirror.
‘Master, by submitting the Seven-Aperture Bead, you will receive ten rit points,’ the Jade Mirror replied.
Lin Caisang’s eyes lit up at the ssage displayed on the mirror.
“Ten rit points? Is the Seven-Aperture Bead really that valuable to rit an imdiate ten rit points?”
The task involving the bead had been the easiest one she and Zimo had done, with no particular difficulty; they just had to defeat so creatures and acquire the bead.
And that alone would grant her ten rit points?
“How many rit points do I have now?” she inquired.
She and Zimo had completed several tasks since acquiring the Seven-Aperture Bead, so surely she must have accumulated a decent number of rit points by then.
It should certainly be enough for a visit to the Golden Pearl Pavilion.
‘Master, you currently have sixteen rit points,’ appeared in a line of text on the Jade Mirror.
“Sixteen rit points?”
Adding the ten points from the Seven-Aperture Bead to that, she’d have twenty-six rit points.
She could spend sixteen minutes inside the Golden Pearl Pavilion, which should be enough ti to find that spiritual manual, as long as she searched quickly.
“Brother Jade Mirror, are the spiritual manuals in the Golden Pearl Pavilion hard to find?” she asked.
If sixteen minutes weren’t enough, what then? Surely she wouldn’t have to start over?
But Lin Chushui was departing early the next morning. Could she possibly complete ten or twenty tasks in one night?
While ti outside stood still during virtual tasks, the energy inside her would still be consud. Taking on so many tasks in succession would surely be overwhelming, wouldn’t it?
Right?
