Chapter 1095: Chapter 1095: Is There Anything Abnormal?

All eyes fell on her, and just as the captain of the soldiers was about to speak, an excited voice rang out.

“Miss Lin, it really is you! I’ve been longing to see you.”

“Eldest Prince?”

Lin Caisang turned her head and saw the Eldest Prince riding towards her on a horse, followed by two guards.

“Why are you here?”

The important person that uncle ntioned earlier turned out to be the Eldest Prince; the situation in Wan County must be quite serious to have the Eldest Prince co here in person.

“Eldest Prince, do you know this lady?” the captain of the soldiers looked at the Eldest Prince and then at Lin Caisang.

The person he was about to scold turned out to be an acquaintance of the Eldest Prince, which scared him into a cold sweat.

“What are you dawdling for? Why haven’t you delivered the vegetables yet?” The Eldest Prince glanced at them, feeling it unnecessary to answer the captain’s question, and directly issued his command.

“Uh.”

The captain of the soldiers was suddenly embarrassed.

“Eldest Prince, it was this lady who stopped us.”

We would have already left with the ox carts if she hadn’t. Why would we still be here?

“Hm?”

Eldest Prince’s gaze turned towards Lin Caisang, perplexed.

“Miss Lin.”

“I just think that you should transfer the vegetables from these ox carts onto the carts you brought from the city, then drive the original carts back,” Lin Caisang explained.

“My lady, wouldn’t that be superfluous?” The captain of the soldiers was even more puzzled.

Why do this? Can’t they just exchange the carts directly? Anyway, they’ll be delivering vegetables again tomorrow.

“Superfluous?”

Lin Caisang repeated the word, then glanced sideways at the Eldest Prince.

“Move the vegetables.”

The Eldest Prince, without a second thought, ordered the captain of the soldiers.

“Yes, Eldest Prince.”

With no other choice, the captain ordered his soldiers to do what he considered to be unnecessary.

“Uncle, may I ask you sothing?”

Lin Caisang watched as they moved the crates of vegetables, with the uncles helping out, and she pulled aside the uncle who had been chatting with her.

“Please ask, my lady.”

The uncle dusted the dirt off his hands and replied.

“Uncle, you’ve been delivering vegetables to Wan County for quite so ti now, haven’t you?” Lin Caisang asked.

“Yes, for about a month and a half,” the uncle replied.

In the beginning, people were still allowed into the city, but when that beca impossible, they sealed the county, and since then, these vegetable farrs have been coming to deliver vegetables every day.

“Then, have any of you experienced any abnormalities in your health?” Lin Caisang asked further.

“Ah?”

Upon hearing her words, the uncle’s face darkened instantly.

He thought to himself: What’s the matter with this lady? Could it be that she has a demon’s face beneath that mask? How could she say such a thing? Isn’t this cursing them to death?

However, he had also overheard her conversation with the Eldest Prince; the two knew each other.

Not wanting to offend soone of high status, he contained his irritation and did not show it.

“My lady, we are all fine.”

“Really?”

Lin Caisang was sowhat incredulous.

Though it was good that everyone was unhard, the poisoner wouldn’t have only targeted Wan County. Now that the city was sealed, if they wanted to poison soone, they would have to target these vegetable farrs.

“Maybe I wasn’t clear enough, uncle. Let

ask you again; are you, or anyone in your family, or even the old oxen you use to deliver vegetables, all right?”
