The car drove through the busy streets. Outside, neon lights flickered and stars twinkled in the night sky. An Xiaxia rolled down the window to let in so fresh air. She then saw that sothing was different today. “This isn’t our way back ho, is it?”
“Heh.” Sheng Yize chuckled. “I didn’t think you’d realize that, since you have no sense of direction at all.”
“Hey... I do rember the way back ho, ok?!” She had grown up in Yu City, after all.
Sheng Yize turned the steering wheel. “I’m taking you to get a late night snack.”
An Xiaxia was touched. “How did you know I didn’t eat enough at dinner?”

Seeing that she was practically drooling, Sheng Yize was a little uneasy.

After making that decision, he dialed a number and left so instructions.

“Sure.” How on earth would he know? Just get her inside first!
They were the only custors in the restaurant. The lights were muted, emphasizing the romantic and refined atmosphere.
A row of white candles had been lit beside the best window seats, which had been decorated with white roses flown in from abroad.
A violinist and a pianist were playing in one corner of the restaurant. It couldn’t be any more beautiful.
An Xiaxia tugged at Sheng Yize’s sleeve and whispered, “Is the food awful here?”
“Huh?”
“Look, there are no custors. No one’s eating here, so it must be the food!” An Xiaxia made a fuss as she analyzed the situation. “How about we eat sowhere else?”
Sheng Yize swore he was having a stroke. Like hell they were going sowhere else! This was the best restaurant in Yu City! He had rented the place for the night just for An Xiaxia!
“The food here is delicious. Really. I’ve been here before...” Sheng Yize found her such a pain in the neck.
“Alright...” An Xiaxia scratched her head and took her seat.
The waiter went up to their table politely and An Xiaxia asked expectantly, “Do you have spicy crayfish here?”
The corner of the waiter’s mouth twitched. “Ma’am... We have Australian lobster and lobster sashimi... but we don’t have spicy crayfish here...”
An Xiaxia pursed her lips in disappointnt. “Sheng Yize, I...” She wanted to leave.
Before she could finish, Sheng Yize cut her off. “Just serve everything I ordered earlier.”
“Yes.”
An Xiaxia was surprised. “You ordered already?
“Yes,” Sheng Yize said with a straight face. “And they’re very expensive. So, you’ll have to finish everything and let nothing go to waste.”
That successfully convinced An Xiaxia. She nodded repeatedly and said, “I’ll do my best!”
Good. She was as dumb as ever.
They ate their dinner while the piano and violin played on.
Fireworks suddenly exploded outside. The view was spectacular.
An Xiaxia looked up and her eyes flickered, as if there were flaming stars in them.
“Do you like it?” Sheng Yize asked.
