Before she could say anything else, she was pulled back and spun around. An Yibei had pulled her into his arms.
Frightened, she was going to scream again when she felt sothing warm against her skin. Opening her eyes, she saw that An Yibei had taken off his shirt and wrapped it over her shoulders.
Ai Bao turned around and quickly buttoned up the shirt. Her face was as red as an apple.
An Yibei arched an eyebrow. “I was going to show you what an animal I am... It’s just that, Baobao, I’m not going to force you.”
He was willing to wait.
Ai Bao stared at him in a daze.
“What would you like to eat? I’ll make us so dinner.”
He turned to leave, but she caught his wrist.
Ai Bao’s voice was as tiny as the sound of a mosquito. “You can... if you really want to...”
An Yibei narrowed his eyes. “Do you know what you’re saying?”
Ai Bao couldn’t think straight. A hundred voices seed to speak all at once in her head and she didn’t know what she was doing.
All she knew was that she liked this man, so much so that she didn’t care if she got hurt.
“Mr. An.” Ai Bao blinked. “Will you lie to ?”
Unlike Wu Hanxiao, An Yibei didn’t make so elaborate promise, but only said in a solemn voice, “I can’t make promises about things in the future. Baobao, I’m a man, not a god. I’m not perfect. I’m sorry if I’ve disappointed you.”

She stord off, but only realized when she reached the door that she hadn’t changed her clothes yet, nor did she have any money on her. Hitting her head with her fist in frustration, she inched back to An Yibei. “Give so money.”
An Yibei smiled gently. “Haven’t you been warned that you should never piss off a lawyer? Or... you’ll lose everything, including your pants.
“However, your lawyer here is willing to give all his money to you.” An Yibei picked up his wallet on the table and removed his ID card. He then tossed it to Ai Bao without hesitation. “There. My debit cards, credit cards, and my salary card. All yours.”
Ai Bao said after a long pause, “So, you’re the one without pants now?”
“...” Blue veins popped in the corner of An Yibei’s forehead as he said between gritted teeth, “Shall I start by unbuckling my trousers now? Huh?” He was turning into a big bad wolf; the little woman had it coming!
