He Jiayu knocked on Su Xiaomo’s door early in the morning.
“It’s ti to get up.”
Su Xiaomo mumbled sothing inaudible and ignored him.
The tap on the door ca again a little while later. “Wake up. It’s ti for school.”
Annoyed, Su Xiaomo threw a pillow at the door. “Piss off! Leave alone!”
Outside, He Jiayu was conflicted.
To keep knocking or not, that was the question.
After so thought, he tried to reason with Su Xiaomo. “We need to go to school now. Be a good girl and get up, alright?”
Still half-asleep, Su Xiaomo heard his gentle voice. Opening her eyes, she realized that she was in a strange environnt.
She didn’t seem to be in her room...
“Su Xiaomo, the early bird gets the worm. So get up~”
That was such a nice voice...
And it was kind of familiar...
Wait. Wasn’t that He Jiayu?
Her brain was finally coming back online now. Su Xiaomo recalled what happened last night and she imdiately jumped out of bed to get changed.
Opening up her suitcase, she put on the first things she grabbed and after quickly washing up, she opened her door. He Jiayu greeted her with a smile. “There you are. I was going to knock again.”
“Hoho... sorry about that. It’s always been difficult for to get up.” Su Xiaomo chuckled awkwardly. “Co, let’s go to school!”
“There’s no need to rush. It’s still early and we have enough ti for so breakfast.” He Jiayu said nervously, “I made it myself and I hope you like it...”
Going up to the dining table, Su Xiaomo was utterly flattered when she saw the sumptuous feast laid out. “You – you made all that for ?”
“Yes.” He Jiayu nodded. “Try it. I’ll make sothing else if it’s not to your liking.”
Su Xiaomo took a bite and her eyes sparkled with tears.
“What’s wrong? Do you not like it?” He Jiayu was all jittery.
“No.” Su Xiaomo shook her head. “It’s so delicious!”
Su Xiaomo had never been so touched.
Apart from sending her money, her parents hadn’t even spent a Chinese New Year with her for years, let alone make her breakfast.
She was hopeless in cooking and didn’t even know how to switch on an induction cooker. She hadn’t had a proper breakfast in a very long ti.
So guy was actually willing to make her such a wonderful breakfast! Aww!
“Cutie He! Marry ! I promise I’ll make a lot of money and give you a good life! You can just stay at ho and be my sweet little wife!” Su Xiaomo howled, her cheeks streaked with tears.
He Jiayu said in resignation, “Let’s have breakfast first...”
“No! I won’t eat until you say yes!” Su Xiaomo wouldn’t listen.
Good-natured and bashful as He Jiayu was, he couldn’t bring himself to scold Su Xiaomo, and could only try to persuade her. “Have your breakfast, or it’ll get cold.”
Persuaded, Su Xiaomo picked up her chopsticks and wolfed down the food.
After breakfast, He Jiayu rose to his feet before she could say anything and cleaned the table. “I’ll go wash the dishes.”
He then went into the kitchen, leaving no ti for Su Xiaomo to say anything.
Su Xiaomo was all the more amazed. He washed the dishes as well as cooked!
All in all, the more ti she spent with He Jiayu, the more lovely she found him to be!
She ran to the kitchen like a puppy wagging its tail and stuck her head inside. “Cutie He, what do you think of my proposition?”
He Jiayu nearly dropped the plate in his hands. Looking over his shoulder, he gave Su Xiaomo a bashful glare. “Su Xiaomo! Do you even realize that you’re a girl?”
“Who else is a girl here if not ? You?” Su Xiaomo smiled mischievously. “Are you going to take off your pants and prove it?”
He Jiayu narrowed his eyes, and there was sothing dangerous about the way he looked.
“Do you really want to see it?”
