Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Eat Less Salt

At this mont, the others also noticed.

“Hey! Look over there, isn’t that Qi Yue?”

Qi Yue had just returned from the experintal fields and hadn’t had ti to change her clothes. She was wearing a lab coat as usual, clean and tidy. Although it wasn’t covered in soil like before, it looked sowhat shabby compared to Qi Zhen and Chu Jiapei.

“Qi Yue!” Chu Jiapei tentatively called out.

Qi Yue, who was prepared to leave, instinctively turned her head back.

“It really is her!” Chu Jiapei exclaid with so excitent.

“Hey! Qi Yue! How can you not greet your old classmates?” Chu Jiapei shouted toward Qi Yue.

Next to him, Sun Hao also chid in teasingly, “Qi Yue, you’re such a big shot! You don’t even attend the class reunion! Even the busy Qi Zhen is here!”

Song Qiuqiu was still waiting to be fed back in the dorm, and when Qi Yue saw that group of people, she originally didn’t plan to pay them any attention and preferred to pretend she didn’t see them.

However, she was called out just as she was about to leave.

Qi Yue stopped in her tracks and gave a casual greeting, “Sorry, I’ve been quite busy lately.”

“Pfft…” a snicker ca from the crowd, “Too busy planting potatoes?”

The tone was sowhat flippant.

Qi Yue looked up at the person chuckling with sharp eyes. Her previously indifferent gaze suddenly beca piercing, “Is there a problem?”

That person unexpectedly felt a chill from Qi Yue’s gaze and stamred, “Nothing, no problem. After all, that’s what your major is about. What I an is, even if you’re busy, you should participate in the class reunion. It’s not easy for everyone to gather, and since you live close by, it’s quite convenient for you to co over…”

Qi Yue: “It has nothing to do with being nearby.”

She simply didn’t feel like coming.

Then Chu Jiapei chid in, “Qi Yue, I heard you’ve been matchmaking lately. You should have said so! Maybe your classmates could help out! We’ve got so single folks; we could pair them up!”

As soon as these words fell, several guys looked awkward and avoided eye contact.

Sun Hao imdiately stated, “Just to make it clear, count out, I already have a girlfriend!”

While saying this, Sun Hao looked at Qi Yue, with a hint of boastfulness in his gaze.

Back then, Qi Yue didn’t fancy him, but now she had fallen to the point of going on matchmade dates…

Chu Jiapei teased with a giggle, “We know, we know! You got an air hostess girlfriend! Stop bringing it up all the ti!”

“Well, although I’m still single, I already have soone I like…” another guy said, touching his nose.

At this point, Qi Zhen tried to smooth things over and turned to Qi Yue, “Qi Yue, don’t be too picky. Mom just wants what’s best for you. You should co ho when you have ti.”

Qi Yue glanced at Qi Zhen with a cool smirk and murmured, “Classmate, I think you should eat less salt.”

This line Qi Yue learned from Song Qiuqiu: Eat less salt, you’re so idle (salty) minding everyone’s business!

“What?” Qi Zhen was taken aback, not imdiately getting Qi Yue’s implication.

By the ti Qi Zhen understood, her expression had turned sowhat sour.

Chu Jiapei, who had been clued in by another student, frowned in disapproval, “Qi Yue, what do you an by that? Your words are so unpleasant. Zhenzhen was just showing concern for you. Even if you don’t appreciate it, there’s no need for sarcasm…”

As Chu Jiapei was speaking, she suddenly fixated on sothing near Qi Yue and fell silent.

Seeing this, the others instinctively followed Chu Jiapei’s gaze.

In the next second, everyone’s eyes shone with amazent.

At the entrance of a milk tea shop, a young man was seen walking out the door.

The man had striking features and his eyes seed to hold boundless charm. His deanor was both noble and elegant. Even in such a bustling street, he seed otherworldly.

The mont he appeared, the bustling crowd behind seed to dissolve into a tiless ink wash painting, and he was like a figure stepping out of a scroll…
