"I..."

Su Yaoyao squeezed out a smile and said, "I’m fine."

The boy in front of her was nad Liu Zhengjie, and he was here to pick her up.

Su Yaoyao was taken away by the investigation departnt yesterday, but the data she had was handed over to her by soone else. Plus, she was just a student, so after being detained for one night, she was released.

"That’s good to hear!" The boy raised his hand and placed it on Su Yaoyao’s shoulder.

Su Yaoyao frowned, instinctively wanting to dodge, but after a second thought, she held back.

Feeling the warm touch on his palm, Liu Zhengjie’s mind wandered, wanting nothing more than to take Su Yaoyao to a hotel imdiately.

But as Su Yaoyao lowered her head, she suddenly caught sight of the sword at Liu Zhengjie’s waist, and a rush of unnad malice surged up within her.

"Zhengjie, I rember you’re a Warrior, right? Against a healer of the sa level, you could definitely win, right?" Su Yaoyao suddenly asked.

Liu Zhengjie was taken aback: "Huh?"

Why would he go and fight a healer for no reason?

Su Yaoyao didn’t answer directly but said, "Do one thing for , and once it’s done... I’ll be yours!"

Liu Zhengjie’s eyes instantly widened, nodding excitedly: "Just tell ! I’ll do anything!"

Su Yaoyao was silent for several seconds before finally squeezing out a venomous voice from between her teeth: "Find a chance to kill Lin Ye!"

Upon hearing this, Liu Zhengjie was completely stunned.

...

Lin Ye disbanded the team and went straight to a chanical Puppet Shop.

"Welco..." The shopkeeper raised his head to greet when he saw soone coming in, but upon seeing who it was, his eyes lit up.

"Ah! It’s the great Lin Ye!"

The shopkeeper greeted him enthusiastically.

At this point, who in the Shan City settlent didn’t know Lin Ye?

The first-ever SSS-Class rating to clear the Black Stone Mine in history!

The prestige of this achievent was incredibly high, and though the Black Stone Mine was only a Level 5 Secret Realm, it was enough to prove Lin Ye’s strength, far surpassing others of his age!

In the shop, a few scattered custors glanced over at Lin Ye, their eyes filled with surprise.

"So that’s Lin Ye?"

"He looks so clean and pale, you’d never expect him to be so strong!"

"I don’t get it; how can a healer be that strong?"

"Idiot! Can’t you take a look in the mirror? Look at yourself, then look at him! Can’t you see the difference?"

Discussion rumbled on quietly.

A healer leading a team to achieve such astonishing results was indeed hard for people to imagine.

So much so that so people attributed Lin Ye’s achievents to his most consistent teammate—Li Fei.

After all, an S-Class Talent, combined with a rare profession...

It’s a setup many could only dream of.

With such talent and profession, it ant a guaranteed bright future.

Handling such a novice Secret Realm is normal, isn’t it?

"Hey? What are you guys doing huddled in the corner? You’ve been browsing for half the day without buying anything. Are you planning to steal from my shop?" The loud-voiced shopkeeper shouted into the store.

The group of people was startled and quickly scampered away.

"Thank you!"

Lin Ye watched as they scurried away and nodded amusedly at the shopkeeper.

These guys seed to be saying good things but were actually hinting that Lin Ye was just a pretty boy who relied on won to clear Secret Realms.

But Lin Ye didn’t bother about such rumors...

He simply didn’t think it was worth making a fuss over.

Within the safety zone, I follow the laws; I’m a good citizen outside the safety zone if you aren’t strong enough but still dare to run your mouth, then I’m the law!

For a mature Professional, killing isn’t sothing hard to accept.

In fact, in an Anomalous Spatial Rift, it’s the human Professionals you need to guard against more than the Otherworld creatures!

But clearly, such dark truths aren’t taught in schools of this level.

Many Professionals, regardless of Level, only step out of the novice phase after they’ve experienced true carnage in an Alternate Space.

"Young man, don’t listen to those brainless jokes!" The shopkeeper said, smiling warmly to Lin Ye again.

"So, what are you looking to buy this ti? I’ll give you a discount!" The shopkeeper patted his chest in promise.

"This ti... I’m not buying anything, but I need your help to repair these Sheep Puppets, and it’s best if you remove the sound devices for !"

Lin Ye said, laying out ten Spatial Bags on the table.

The shopkeeper hesitated slightly...

Removing the sound devices wasn’t hard to understand.

But weren’t these ten Sheep Puppets bought just yesterday?

And now they already needed repairs?

What happened? Did you take them to grind in a Secret Realm?

"Alright, no problem, leave it to !" The shopkeeper was puzzled but agreed nonetheless.

It’s his job, and repairs do cost money after all.

"Thank you, boss! Here’s my number. Call anyti when it’s ready for pickup!"

Lin Ye left his number with the shopkeeper and then left the puppet shop.

"This kid..."

The shopkeeper shook his head amused, taking out all the sheep from the Spatial Bags on the table.

A little while later...

"My gosh... did you really take them to a Secret Realm? How on earth did they get so damaged in just one day..."

Looking at these Sheep Puppets, the shopkeeper felt overwheld.

...

In a hospital room at Shan City Central Hospital.

"Dad, I’m here to see you..."

Li Fei sat by the pristine hospital bed, holding the hand of the unconscious patient on the bed.

"Don’t worry, I’ve repaid all the dical expenses and hired the best caregivers for you. When I’m capable, I’ll find a High-level Professional to wake you up!"

Li Fei’s face appeared incredibly determined.

Growing stronger relentlessly is the only way to wake her father!

"Maybe, by then, I won’t even need to seek out outsiders..." Li Fei’s face turned slightly red.

"Bang!"

Right at that mont, the door was rudely flung open.

"Li Fei, I knew you’d be here! Didn’t I tell you to take your brother for leveling today? All these years, you’ve eaten and worn our things, and now that you’ve got skills, you’re unwilling to help level your brother?"

A plump middle-aged woman squeezed in from the door, pointing at Li Fei and hurling insults.

Following behind her was a slightly tall boy, with a sowhat gloomy expression.

The yelling of the middle-aged woman attracted many eavesdroppers, and so curious heads peeked through the door.

Faced with the middle-aged woman’s scolding, Li Fei simply lowered her head in silence.

She’s endured it like this for years and has gotten used to it.

"And it was you who paid off your dad’s dical bills? A full three million! With that money, you could have bought your brother so gear or potions to strengthen him. You used it to pay dical bills? Are you crazy?"

The scolding continued, and Li Fei couldn’t help but clench her fists.

"Was it that pretty boy nad Lin Ye who taught you to do this? Huh? Speak! I’ll go trouble him right now!"

At this mont, Li Fei seed to be struck at her most sensitive nerve, and she beca a blaze of fire, rushing to the middle-aged woman.

"Smack!"

A slap landed hard on the plump lady’s face, knocking out several of her teeth.

"You can’t badmouth him!"
