In the dormitory, An Ying looked concerned as she leaned close to Li Fei.
"I’m fine, just spacing out for a mont." Li Fei slightly lowered her head, avoiding her roommate’s gaze.
Seeing this, An Ying couldn’t help but shake her head inwardly.
"Co on! Let’s go study in the library, we need to start preparing our graduation thesis." An Ying asked again.
Li Fei was about to refuse but saw An Ying pouting with an aggrieved look, shaking her arm.
Seeing An Ying like this, Li Fei could only smile helplessly.
"Alright, I’ll go with you!" Li Fei agreed, ultimately won over by her friend’s persistence.
The two walked across the campus, with An Ying holding Li Fei’s hand, chattering non-stop.
From the buns they had for breakfast to noticing that their professor seed to have less hair during the class, she went on and on.
Yet Li Fei mostly just responded with a light smile.
As for those strange stares around her, she had long since gotten used to them over the last few years.

"Thank you, but please don’t say that next ti..." Li Fei said to An Ying helplessly.
"But they’re being too much!" An Ying was clearly angry, saying, "Lin Ye disappeared trying to save everyone, and they’re still spouting such demoralizing words!"
As one of the participants in the military training arena back then, An Ying could count herself as having benefited from Lin Ye’s help too.
If not for Lin Ye, all the participants from that year might have ended up lost in the Alternate Space.
And earlier, among those claiming Lin Ye was never coming back, were actually so of the forr participants!
This was what angered An Ying the most!

Li Fei gave her a sideways glance and walked on quickly.
And just at that mont, her phone rang with a long-lost ringtone, making her entire being tremble!
This was a ringtone she had set for one special person; with trembling hands, Li Fei picked up her phone to check the ssage.
"What is it?" An Ying walked up and asked.
Li Fei exclaid excitedly, "He’s back!"

At this mont, a figure appeared at Shenzhen Professional Plaza.
Lin Ye stood on the plaza, putting down his phone, looking at the sea of people around, feeling sowhat sentintal.
He hadn’t expected that he’d been in the Alternate Space for a full three and a half years!
Now that he’s returned to the Human World, upon seeing the current year, he was utterly shocked!
He had thought he’d been in the Alternate Space for just over a year at most, not realizing how numb one’s sense of ti could beco in that changeless place without day and night.
But it was still acceptable.

So were too excited to speak coherently, so couldn’t talk through their tears, and others insisted on coming over imdiately...
Clearly, his return evoked a huge reaction from everyone.
And at that mont, a series of rousing alarm sounds echoed across the plaza!
Lin Ye glanced at his phone, at the incoming ssages, spotting one from Chen Daosheng.
"I’m coming to pick you up now! I’m going to let the whole world know you’re back!"
This made Lin Ye chuckle, amused. It wasn’t hard to guess that this alarm was Chen Daosheng’s way of cheering for him.
And this, too, was my proclamation to everyone...
