Ch. 49 Part 1 – Blazing Feather (I)
“Then, how can I go there?” ng Qi asked again.
“Go there?” The staff looked at ng Qi with a weird expression, “No one can go up without the owner’s permission.”
ng Qi did not say anything. She silently looked up at the island floating in the highest part of the sky, and tried hard to rember all the things that happened during her drunk. But at that ti, she was really dizzy, and her mind stopped working. The only thing she could think at that ti was that the white robe was so soft and cool, and the cloud waterfall was so magnificent.
Besides that…
ng Qi knocked her head in annoyance. Why did she drink that wine? Even a full cup, and getting herself drunk. If not for that, she would have seen who was that white-robed man and rembered what he said to her.
ng Qi pondered for a while, then asked the staff again: “Where is Beyond The Heaven Restaurant? Can I go there now?”
“Yes. But if you want to go to the top floor, you need to make an appointnt.” The staff looked at ng Qi for a while. He rembered this girl. She was the person valued by third Miss Xue, so his attitude was polite: “How is it? Do you want to go now?”
“Yes.” ng Qi nodded. Led by the staff, she stepped into a teleportation array. In the blink of an eye, she appeared outside Beyond The Heaven Restaurant.
This was ng Qi’s first ti here. The floating island where the restaurant was located had a different atmosphere than Profound Auction House island. The entire island was like a large garden with beautiful scenery. There was a lotus pond in the distance, with small bridges and elegant streams winding towards a serene area, where a few buildings with different styles scattered.
In the center of this large garden, a wooden building seed to stand tall above the clouds. ng Qi raised her head and tried to look up, but she couldn’t see the top of the building. The top floor that the staff told her just now must be in this tall building.
ng Qi looked around. Beyond The Heaven Restaurant was located on the second highest floating island. Since the highest island was floating separately from the others, this island was the highest one around, so people couldn’t see other islands from here.
ng Qi took a deep breath and walked towards the main building. The waiter at the door quickly greeted her: “Fellow Daoist, do you have a reservation?”
“No.” ng Qi shook her head.
“Are you alone?”
“Yes.” ng Qi nodded, “Excuse , can I go to the top floor?”
“Fellow Daoist, I’m sorry.” The waiter smiled apologetically, “Today, the top three floors are fully reserved. If you are not an invited guest, you cannot go up.”
ng Qi nodded. She considered for a mont, then she let the waiter led her inside. The restaurant looked more spacious than from the outside. The decoration wasn’t luxurious, but pretty simple and elegant.
The waiter led ng Qi to an empty table on the fourth floor, where she could sit alone by the window. Every table here was far apart, so the guests on each table wouldn’t disturb each other. The waiter brought the nu. ng Qi flipped through it and randomly ordered a few side dishes. It didn’t take long for the steaming dishes to be delivered.
“It slls good.”
Inside Beyond The Heaven, cultivators retained the sa senses as in Three Thousand Worlds. However, it didn’t affect their real body, so no matter how much they ate here, they wouldn’t feel full in reality. Cultivators with the privilege to visit Beyond The Heaven typically were at the Golden Core stage and above. They had long ceased the need to take a regular al. For them, eating was just a matter of taste. And thus, Beyond The Heaven Restaurant beca their first choice for eating and hosting banquets.
The food on the table was full of color and delicious aroma that attracted one’s appetite. Even ng Qi, whose mind was still distracted, couldn’t help being attracted by the row of delicious foods.
The waiter brought over the last order and put a pot of tea on the table. “Fellow Daoist, please take your ti.”
“Excuse . If I want to go to the top floor tomorrow, can I make a reservation now?” ng Qi stopped the waiter.
“Fellow Daoist, I’m sorry. But the top floor has been fully booked until three months later. I’m afraid there is no way to make a reservation for you these days.” The waiter smiled. “Do you have any other orders?”
“No, thank you.” ng Qi was a little disappointed.
In the middle of Beyond The Heaven Restaurant, there was an open space leading up from the ground to the highest floor. ng Qi tried to look above, but she couldn’t see the upper floors from here. She wasn’t surprised. This structure was similar to the Profound Auction House, and it wasn’t her first ti seeing the owner’s genius arrangents.
She retracted her gaze and was about to start eating. Suddenly, there was a loud noise from another table: “Blazing Feather?! Are you sure?!”
