Paige Sterling glanced at Nanny Sutton, initially thinking her distant niece was an honest girl, but now it seed otherwise.

It seed necessary to send her off quickly, to avoid any more trouble at ho.

Julian Hawthorne was also sowhat embarrassed; after all, this was Paige Sterling’s ho, and he nearly rolled around with a Sterling Family maid in the living room. It was truly inappropriate.

But then Julian rembered Paige and Wayne Wright.

This adulterous couple was so blatant, so why couldn’t he, as a man with normal needs, have sothing happen with Sarah Sutton?

Julian quickly regained his composure, "Alright, this is just a small matter, don’t make things difficult for her."

Paige laughed sarcastically, "Did I make things difficult for her?"

Is he blind? She had even thoughtfully suggested they go to a hotel.

Julian, "..."

Sarah Sutton said softly, "Miss, don’t be so cold to Mr. Hawthorne, he has only you in his heart. Just now, Mr. Hawthorne mistook for you because he misses you so much."

Sarah glanced at Julian, her face full of sweetness.

How lucky could she be to beco the woman of such an excellent and handso man?

And Paige, betraying such an outstanding man and ssing around at ho with an ugly man, it was truly unacceptable.

If this were in our hotown, she would long ago have been drowned in a pig basket.

Poor Mr. Hawthorne, to be stuck with such a wife, she truly felt sorry for him.

But upon hearing this, Paige laughed, "He mistook you for ? Is he blind? You’re so ugly, how could you look like ?"

Sarah’s face turned green imdiately. Though she wasn’t beautiful, she was still a delicate beauty; why did Paige have to say that about her?

This woman was truly vicious.

Sarah looked at Julian with grievance. She was now Julian’s woman, not just a maid of the Sterling Family. Julian had promised to protect her and give her a good life, so she would not be bullied by Paige as she pleased.

But Julian didn’t speak up, so she could only say aggrievedly, "Miss, even though I work at your ho temporarily, I didn’t sell myself to your family. How can you be so excessive?"

Paige sat down and said, "You’re under my nose, in my ho seducing my husband, and I can’t be excessive?"

Looks like this sofa needs to be replaced too; she’s had enough of Julian and doesn’t know when this will finally be over.

Sarah imdiately cried out her grievance, "Miss, how can you falsely accuse like this? I haven’t done anything."

As she spoke, she walked over to Paige, "Miss, you must believe , I’m not that kind of person. I just saw Mr. Hawthorne was too upset and wanted to comfort him..."

Hmm, just that the way of comforting was a bit special, but after all, it’s all about comfort.

Paige saw her approaching and directly pushed her away, her face full of disgust.

Sarah fell to the ground; she was wearing a skirt, her knees hit the floor directly and got scraped.

Seeing how excessive Paige was, Julian stood up imdiately, "Paige, are you done yet? Even if I have sothing with Sarah, so what? She’s a pure girl; we acted upon feelings and adhered to propriety. Unlike you, blatantly bringing your lover into the house, do you have any regard for ?"

Sarah quickly understood and said, "Mr. Hawthorne, don’t quarrel with Miss Sterling because of . I’m just slightly injured; it’s no big deal!"

Even an ordinary woman was so kind and magnanimous, yet why was Paige so unreasonable?

If it wasn’t for everything Paige represented, he would have long given up on such a woman.

"Paige, you are my wife, the second daughter-in-law of the Hawthorne Family. You should have the deanor of a nobility and stop being barbaric and rude, making lose face with you. I think you should learn from Alisa and also from Sarah."

Paige, "I advise you not to lecture , or I’ll beat you up."

"Is this your attitude? I..."

This ti, Paige stood up and directly punched Julian.

It had been a while since she last hit soone, and she was a bit out of practice.

Julian was dumbfounded by the punch; he never expected Paige to hit him.

Sarah imdiately went forward heartbroken, "Mr. Hawthorne, are you alright? Miss, how can you hit Mr. Hawthorne? You’re really going too far! I won’t work for you anymore; whoever wants to serve such an ill-natured person can do it!"

Julian glared at Paige, enraged and wanting to hit her.

But he didn’t dare.

He pointed at Paige, "You’re simply, simply..."

Simply for a long ti, but couldn’t co out with what exactly it was.

Now he couldn’t out-argue Paige, nor could he outfight her, only feeling utterly suppressed and humiliated by her.

"Where’s my father-in-law? Is he ho? Bring him out and let him see the good daughter he’s raised! It’s truly disgraceful!"

He was just yelling to regain so footing.

But he never expected that Jared Sullivan happened to return ho from outside right then and heard Julian’s words.

"What did you want to do just now?"

Julian, "..."

Jared Sullivan walked over, gloomily, "Speak, why are you here at the Sterling Family again?"

Julian’s arrogance deflated, awkwardly saying, "Father-in-law, I’m here to see Paige. She’s been throwing a tantrum and refuses to co back with . I hope you can persuade her not to be so unreasonable."

Jared Sullivan sneered, "She’s unreasonable? Is it really her being unreasonable or you?"

Julian felt stuck in his chest.

Of course, it was Paige being unreasonable!

Did his father-in-law also have to blindly speak nonsense?

"Father-in-law, you know about her keeping a man at ho, right?"

Jared Sullivan nodded, "I know."

He was even planning to find one for his daughter himself, but she refused.

Julian, enraged, "Then why didn’t you stop it? Watching her make mistakes?!"

Jared Sullivan retorted, "Why should I stop it?"

Julian thought Jared was crazy, "Father-in-law, you’re a man too. Can you tolerate your woman giving you a green hat by being with soone else?"

Jared replied matter-of-factly, "Aren’t you also giving her a green hat by being outside? If you can play outside, can’t my daughter? She’s the eldest daughter of the Sterling Family, not soone who has to climb the Hawthorne Family’s social ladder. If you want to bind her with rules, then you keep to the rules yourself; otherwise, shut up."

Julian never expected such an open-minded thought from Jared, as a man.

What kind of bizarre father and daughter are these?

The Sterling Family doesn’t have a single normal person!

Julian took a deep breath, "Father-in-law, this isn’t my fault, just ask Paige what she did. If it weren’t for her being unreasonable, why would I have a woman outside?"

So it was all Paige’s fault.

"There’s a big problem in our relationship, and it’s largely Paige’s fault. If she doesn’t change, I think I should find soone else to be my wife!"

He thought he was threatening Jared, but Jared remained expressionless, "Oh."

Julian, "..."

Wasn’t Jared afraid his daughter would indeed be abandoned by him? Wasn’t he worried about the disgrace if it got out?

"Father-in-law, you’re a man too, you know n and won are different. I can have many won outside, and people would at most call a playboy, but if Paige had sothing with a man other than her husband, how do you think people would talk about her? I advise you to manage her well before things get out of hand, what she’s done will not sound good if it gets out, and it won’t look good on you either."
