Thinking about the results of Austin Xavier’s investigation, and the indulgent smile he showed towards Gordon Quinn in the photos, she suddenly realized that what she encountered might not be true love, but rather a master actor.

From beginning to end, she was tightly ensnared in a web woven by the other party.

And now, the other party finally revealed their true colors.

Has he dropped the act?

Sumr Xavier’s tone also grew colder.

"He deliberately crashed into with his car and then fled the scene. Isn’t it only right that I sue him and hold him legally accountable? Since he dared do such a thing, he should have expected the consequences."

If he was afraid of ruining his future, why did he hit soone with a car?

Harrison Sheridan said, "He’s already told about it and apologized. He really didn’t do it on purpose; he only just got his license and isn’t familiar with driving yet. In the end, he didn’t cause you much harm, so why are you making such a big deal out of it?"

Oh, so because I wasn’t hurt much, I shouldn’t hold accountable the person who tried to hurt ?

So many people hold double standards like this. Even the smallest harm done to them is unbearable, yet they think it’s no big deal if they inflict harm on others, even if it’s deadly. After all, they believe it’s the other’s fault for being vulnerable.

Harrison Sheridan is obviously such a person.

Sumr Xavier sneered, "I was the one hit. Why would he apologize to you? What right do you have to forgive him on my behalf?"

Harrison’s tone had already turned impatient, "Can you be reasonable, Sumr Xavier? How can you throw such a tantrum and still be a good wife for our Sheridan Family?"

His words were already a threat to Sumr Xavier, implying that if she continued to hold onto this issue, their engagent could be called off.

He dared to say this because he believed his charm had already captivated Sumr Xavier deeply, thinking she wouldn’t bear to break up with him.

But in reality, Sumr Xavier didn’t care at all, "I also think a man as unreasonable as you, still tangled with his so-called brother, has no right to be a son-in-law of the Xavier Family, so let’s end it here."

The other end fell silent for a brief mont, likely because Harrison hadn’t expected Sumr to know about his involvent with Gordon Quinn.

However, he soon felt that it didn’t matter.

He and Gordon loved so hard, Sumr was about to take a position that should belong to Gordon—what right did she have to be dissatisfied?

Isn’t this just being ungrateful after getting the benefits?

Harrison hadn’t even said it was over, yet Sumr declared the end? How dare she say it’s over? What right does she have to say it’s over?

"Sumr Xavier, I advise you to stay calm and rational, not to say things in the heat of the mont that you’ll regret later.

Harrison’s tone was condescending, "Since you know about my relationship with Gordon, your lawsuit against him is deliberate revenge, isn’t it? But let tell you, don’t think you can separate and Gordon just like that. Our love isn’t sothing you can interfere with, even if you beco my wife, you can’t beco the person in my heart."

Sumr Xavier, "..." The absurdity of his words was so similar to what Ryan Abbott had once said.

Sumr Xavier was rendered speechless.

Harrison continued, "Tell , what will it take for you to let Gordon go? Forcing into marriage? Or forcing to leave Gordon?"

Sumr Xavier, "..."

She couldn’t listen to such nonsense any longer.

Once again, she placed her hand over her heart, doubting herself: Was she blind back then to think Harrison Sheridan would be a good husband?

Sumr Xavier couldn’t help but take a deep breath, calming herself down.

"If you want not to sue Gordon, it’s possible. If you want to let him go, it’s not impossible either, unless he stands still and lets hit him with a car twice—then we’ll call it even; otherwise, don’t talk to about letting him go."

These two n are simply out of their minds. If they love being together so much, then just stay together. Why cause trouble for others?

Even if soone’s submissive, they’re still a man, right? Can’t control his own man and then cos after a woman, as if their alternative love is so awe-inspiring that others must unconditionally sacrifice for them?

Sumr Xavier always returns a grudge. Since Gordon Quinn dared hit her, he must pay the price.

Harrison Sheridan was infuriated, "Sumr Xavier, I never thought you’d be so vicious. Gordon knows he was wrong, and he feels very sorry for hurting you. He even cried—you know how n rarely cry? His tears an he’s really upset, yet you still want to sue him. If I had known you were this type of woman, I never would have been with you in the first place!"

Listening to the conversation between Sumr Xavier and Harrison Sheridan, Paige Sterling increasingly felt that the relationship between Harrison and Gordon was quite strange.

Even if Harrison doesn’t like Sumr Xavier, she’s still the one who got hit. Shouldn’t he show at least so concern? Yet, even when his fiancée’s in the hospital, he shows no sympathy—instead, he’s criticizing Sumr for not being magnanimous enough, for daring to sue the hit-and-run offender.

As a victim, suing a hit-and-run driver, isn’t that a normal action?

Why does Harrison see it as unreasonable, as cruel?

The values are completely shattered.

And Harrison’s behavior truly infuriated Sumr Xavier; she said angrily, "If I’d known you were a shaless womanizing dead GAY from the start, I’d never have gotten engaged to you. A disgusting person like you only deserves to be with a despicable man like Gordon Quinn."

Sumr then hung up the phone and angrily threw it aside.

She had no idea how she ended up so unlucky: the first person she wanted to marry was fooling around with her half-sister, and the second was a GAY who only wanted a beard.

What’s worse, she only found out about their character at the last mont, just before walking down the aisle. It’s infuriating.

She now seriously doubts her ability to judge character.

On the other end, Harrison Sheridan also wasn’t in a good mood.

His parents knew about his orientation, which is why they restricted his freedom and forbade him from being with Gordon Quinn.

He had to resort to suicide threats to pressure his parents, who finally relented, agreeing that as long as he married a woman and had a son, they didn’t care what he did outside.

Of course, the Sheridan Family wasn’t ordinary; even if their son was a GAY, nobody else had to know, right?

So the woman couldn’t just be anybody; she needed to be outstanding in her own right and have a good family background.

After searching, Mrs. Sheridan and Mrs. Xavier happened to agree, and they decided to let their children et up.

Given the lessons learned from the Abbott Family, this ti Mrs. Xavier did so preemptive checks on Harrison, and unlike Ryan Abbott, Harrison seed to have no scandals or rumors around him and appeared to be an inspiring, young talent.

So the two t.

For Harrison, if it wasn’t for Gordon Quinn, he didn’t care which woman he was with; since his mother approved of Sumr Xavier, Sumr it was.

So, to break free from parental control, he poured all his patience into being with Sumr Xavier.

She was excellent, good-looking, and gentle towards him. There were monts when Sumr Xavier really thought this man was genuinely in love with her.

In a mont of passion, she got together with Harrison Sheridan and even thought of marrying him.
