"Uh, first both parties must spread their wings and fly down from the Wutong Tree, circling the tree once, announcing the marriage to all tribes..."
That night, in the Troll-kin's library. Quite a few ancient texts of the Troll-kin and other tribes were piled up here, among which there was no lack of the Phoenix-kin's. Fisher discovered that the things manufactured by the Phoenix-kin were basically all entirely made of True Ice. This kind of material, which was exceedingly rare in the outside world, seed to be inexhaustible near the Wutong Tree, making Fisher increasingly curious about the Wutong Tree's appearance.
At this mont, Darivuvu held the ancient text in her hands. While reading, she raised her head. She swept a glance at Fisher who was currently reading ancient texts together with Eimhart, and then cast a glance at Valentiina lying on the recliner beside them, whose lower body couldn't move at all. Subsequently, she curled her lips, lowered her head, and drew a mark with her finger.
"You guys don't have wings, so let's keep it simple. Just walk around our village once... Then, relatives from both sides must exchange gifts. Where are the parents of you two?"
Valentiina and Fisher simultaneously raised their heads and looked at Darivuvu. Without speaking a single word, they simultaneously shook their heads. The aning within naturally went without saying.
Darivuvu speechlessly scratched her head, subsequently using her finger to draw a mark on the ancient text again,
"Ah, right. You two ran all the way here alone, how can you go invite your families? Then this item will also be kept simple, changed to you two simply exchanging gifts with each other... Then, both male and female Phoenixes must wear crowns and jewelry made of True Ice to perform the ceremony. Do you guys have True Ice to make these things?"
Fisher nodded. Seeing this, Darivuvu also finally breathed a sigh of relief and smiled,
"That's good. Let see, my craftsmanship is pretty good..."
Fisher then took out the piece of True Ice he obtained from the Mya military forces previously from his embrace. Darivuvu cast a glance at the roughly palm-sized True Ice in his hand, and raised her head to look at Fisher and Valentiina who bore serious expressions before her eyes. She almost couldn't help laughing from anger.
"No, you guys have nothing at all, what kind of holy matrimony are you still doing? If you keep simplifying it further, it won't even compare to our Troll weddings. If you ask , just consummate the marriage directly. Seeing how cooperative you two look, what kind of holy matrimony are you still doing?"
Valentiina's face turned red and she wanted to sit up to explain. As a result, halfway up, her body went soft and she fell back down, leaning on the recliner again. This montary pause caused her montum to slightly stagnate. She didn't get up again, having no choice but to lie on the chair and say in a low voice,
"Who could have thought the last will left by the Moon Princess would be this...? After climbing the mountain for so long to get here, of course we couldn't prepare so many things..."
Darivuvu scratched her head speechlessly. Shaking her head, she shortened the remaining several procedures as much as possible. She heaved a sigh, stood up, and took out another Troll-kin marriage certificate,
"It seems we can only refer to our etiquette procedures. However, if the ones the Moon Princess was waiting for are you guys, she must definitely know that with your conditions, it's impossible to complete the holy matrimony ceremony... In that case, what she wanted should only be the most basic part of holy matrimony. Understood, understood, I will go make the arrangents. The day after tomorrow we will prepare the teleportation ritual and your holy matrimony ceremony... You can take and use anything you want from here. I'm going to go look at my Kokolia."
Valentiina waved her hand, while Fisher rely nodded his head. He picked up a True Ice scroll beside his hand, only to see written above in ancient Northern Border language: "Book of Stars".
He raised his eyebrows sowhat curiously, and then asked Valentiina to open this sealed True Ice scroll with her bloodline, carefully reading the contents within together with Eimhart.
This scroll seed to be the Phoenix-kin's records regarding that war against the Chaos-kin. The scroll itself was very thin. The opening foreword wrote:
"In the year 527 of the Third Tree Era, the husband of the King passed away. The King said during her grief, that within a hundred years, powerful enemies would be bound to descend from the sky to the mortal realm. When that ti cos, the living beings below will suffer terribly, and no longer exist. Thereafter, during the eldest prince's wedding, there was another prophecy. The King, considering the common people and knowing the logic of interdependent danger, resolved to make preparations in advance to stand together with the common people beneath the mountain."
"In the year 612 of the Third Tree Era, unseen living beings indeed descended from the starry sky. The King said their true bodies were like stars of chaos, originating from the Spirit World, hence nad [Stars]. Five stars descended in total: two in the south, two on the eastern shore, and one on the northern shore. Although the King, the princes, the princess, and the tribes of the Snowlands made preparations in advance, the casualties were still disastrous."
"Within a few hours, tens of thousands of various tribes on the southern shore died or were wounded. On the eastern shore land collapsed into the sea taking innurable soldiers with it. The mountain ranges on the northern shore toppled over, the climate and geography altered massively, becoming unrecognizable. During the war, the eldest and second princes defended the east, the eldest princess led the various tribes to defend the south, and the King alone led her tribesn to defend the north. Fighting unceasingly for more than ten days, the entire Snowlands, apart from the Tree Shade, sank. Twenty-seven tribes including the Unicorn Species, Frost Deer Species, Dwarf Species, Ice Kite Species, and Mist Cat Species perished. Half of the Six Tribes suffered casualties, and one hundred and twenty-eight multi-winged Phoenixes fell in battle. The remaining tribes need not be ntioned. The King mourned their wounds, ordering the princes and princess to lead the Six Tribes to take charge of affairs."
Fisher's eyes trembled slightly twice. Only now did he realize that there were surprisingly only five Chaos-kin who invaded the Northern Border. Even so, they almost turned the Northern Border upside down. Unable to speak for a mont, he had to continue reading downwards. The official docuntation style above ceased, and the remaining content was the recorder's notes, which constituted the main body of this scroll,
"I am a physically weaker Phoenix within the tribe. Although I participated in the war, I cannot be considered to have achieved any accomplishnts; conversely, I received much care from my fellow tribesn. Because of this, I eked out a living, feeling ashad towards the fellow tribesn, Trolls, Cangniao, and humans who fought together. However, during the battle, I discovered so situations regarding the [Stars], recording them briefly here to warn future generations."
"There are five types of Stars in total. Their shadows within the Spirit World perfectly correspond to the appearance of unreachable celestial bodies in the sky. Legend has it that they have been observing the world at all tis while in the Spirit World, thus styling themselves Stars. From low to high Tier, they are divided into five categories: [Northern Sky Constellation], [Northern Circumpolar Constellation], [Southern Sky Constellation], [Equatorial Constellation], and [Zodiac Constellation], totaling eighty-three individuals."
"The five that invaded the Snowlands were respectively the weaker [Sagitta] and [Lyra] of the Northern Sky; the stronger [Cepheus] and [Cassiopeia] of the Northern Circumpolar; and the most powerful [Crater] of the Southern Sky. The two weaker ones were roughly equal in power to the Princess. The two of the Northern Circumpolar were similar to the King, stronger than the two Princes. The one of the Southern Sky surpassed the previous four combined. If not because preparations were made in advance due to the prophecy, the complete annihilation of the Snowlands' army would have been inevitable."
"The Stars possess nearly inexhaustible magic power, exaggerated physical abilities, as well as [Traits] that can only be described via Myth even using the eyes of a Phoenix..."
Following this roughly recorded the appearances, combat processes, and so on of the several Chaos-kin the Phoenixes encountered back then.
Amongst them, it recorded that when the Moon Princess fought against Sagitta, Sagitta seized the dayti light, forming a rain of light that covered practically the entirety of today's Sardin Woman's Country. In a morning several tis darker than night, countless panic-stricken massive armies were pierced by dense light arrows nailing them dozens of ters underground, leaving no intact corpses; Cepheus manipulated the freezing ocean to form a colossal tsunami that covered the sky and blocked the sun; Cassiopeia blew up storms capable of reshaping the terrain. The two Princes had no choice but to use their swords to lift large chunks of land mass in the Northern Border in an attempt to block it.
Undoubtedly, the Phoenix King and her children had all advanced to the Mythical Rank. Fisher guessed the two Princes and one Princess were all at the Fifteenth Tier, while the Phoenix King was approximately at the Sixteenth Tier. Then the five levels of the Chaos-kin were also very easy to classify, spanning from the Fifteenth to Nineteenth Tier from Northern Sky to Zodiac. Moreover, it was necessary to note that the Chaos-kin were bodies constructed in the Reality world and not their true bodies; these Tiers rely asured their abilities in the Reality world.
Saying it like this, in that war, the overall combat power of the Northern Border consisted of one Sixteenth Tier, three Fifteenth Tiers, and hundreds of thousands of other races varying from the first to Fourteenth-Tier fighting against two Fifteenth Tiers, two Sixteenth Tiers, and one Seventeenth-Tier Chaos-kin?
Furthermore, Fisher basically suspected that besides the Phoenixes and a minority of existences exceeding the Tenth Tier, the other races couldn't directly participate in the battles at all, rely acting as logistics and so forth. The main force was the Phoenixes and the Six Tribes; this was exactly the beginning of the Phoenixes' noble bloodline.
Even though they were Chaos-kin at the beginning stage of the Mythical Rank, Fisher's eyelids still twitched fiercely when reading the Phoenix-kin's brief account of the combat process. Although the Mythical Species fought until there weren't many left now, right before his eyes, there veritably stood an Erwind who was one step away from the Mythic Rank.
He sighed slightly and put down the scroll. Valentiina, quite curious, took the scroll from his hands, wanting to see what on earth made even Fisher reveal a worried expression. anwhile, Eimhart cast a glance at the surroundings and said in a low voice,
"I reminded you back when we were on the Iceberg Queen Ship in the Southern Ocean, these Mythical Species are not to be trifled with. When you asked back then, I was totally dumbfounded. The Chaos-kin I described to you at the ti was the [Hydrus] of the Southern Sky Constellation, which was also the only Chaos-kin that Baimon fellow recorded down. Every Chaos-kin looks different, I don't know if she has seen others..."
"This was just the Phoenixes fighting five Chaos-kin, which can already be considered a petty skirmish. The Mythological War afterwards was a war that battered the Southern Continent separating from the West Continent, sinking the Eastern Continent and the World Tree, even the vast oceans couldn't withstand the battles of those fellows..."
Fisher's expression was sowhat solemn, yet he wasn't panicked. Right at this mont, within his eyes, flecks of golden light flashed faintly, revealing lines of illusory text.
[Giant Troll-kin]
[Bindable Quota: 1/1]
[Bound Target: Adult Female Troll-kin, Darivuvu]
Yes, previously when Darivuvu was discussing the holy matrimony ritual with them, he had already bound this carefree and casual female Troll-kin. Whether the research would succeed or not remained unknown; he could only rely on reading the Troll-kin's ancient texts and Eimhart to increase the process of societal research. However, Fisher didn't really care either; the most important thing was he had already gathered all the research species for the Snow Mountain Familiars.
Right at this mont, the illusory golden light before Fisher's eyes grew increasingly radiant, as if about to completely cover his entire sight. But that golden light didn't continue spreading. Instead, it sketched out the flashing artistic text of the Demi-Human Girl Completion Manual before his eyes, seemingly bearing malicious humor,
[Congratulations, you have gathered a brand-new Demi-human Species Tag Sequence: Six Tribes of the Snowy Mountains!]
[Contributor's Note: Throughout the profound history of the Northlands, the Phoenixes residing in Wutong and the remaining six tribes historically refused to acknowledge each other. Yet under the clever machinations of destiny, they mutually forged a steadfast brand called "Loyalty".]
[Even if the forged Sigil of Loyalty has been stained with unknown amounts of dust and fresh blood through the passage of ti, it ultimately survived to the present and is known by you... Oh, as a side note, their loyalty to each other can also serve as a warning to you, who are about to engage in relations with an incomplete Phoenix, lest you get stabbed to death later on (Scumbag Instant Death Ray, bzzt bzzt bzzt).]
[(っ'-c)]
Fisher looked with a face completely covered in black lines at the illusory text floating from the Demi-Human Girl Completion Manual. From within that text burst forth a dense ray of light that continuously shone in his eyes, as if it was truly firing so groundless "Scumbag Instant Death Ray" at him.
Coming this far, Fisher felt the Demi-Human Girl Completion Manual, which kept adding Reproduction Ability for him, should bear the primary responsibility. He had been restrained enough so far, how much more rational did they want him to be?
The next second, those floating golden illusory texts vanished without a trace in an instant. Showing up instead was another line of text,
[You have unlocked the Sequence Reward: Snow Mountain Familiars (Purple)]
[Constitution 15, Post-Reproduction Enhancent Buff (Strong), World Tree Teardrop]
[Post-Reproduction Enhancent Buff (Strong): After partaking in reproductive activities, the recovery power of your body and soul will obtain a minor enhancent lasting up to 48 hours. This amplitude will fluctuate based on your internal emotions, with a minimum of 1% and a maximum of 50%. The cooldown ti is a minimum of 15 days, and a maximum of 90 days. ("Strong" level adjustnt)]
[World Tree Teardrop: Used as an additive component for forging Angelic Holy Artifacts. Legend states that a master possessing extrely profound forging craftsmanship can transform a Holy Artifact infused with a World Tree Teardrop into one possessing consciousness and thought. This is a god-stealing thod at the very peak of forging craftsmanship.]
Looking at the illusory text revealing [Post-Reproduction Enhancent Buff (Strong)], Fisher remained speechless for a long ti. Just a mont ago, the Demi-Human Girl Completion Manual was still able to bitterly denounce him for being unfaithful to his partner, yet the next second it instantly added a reproduction ability buff for him. This made Fisher truly feel sowhat helpless, and increasingly feel he committed no faults whatsoever.
But the most important thing was, the Fisher who previously approached the Eleventh Tier had only barely reached roughly the Thirteenth Tier after obtaining the Constitution buff. Although comparing to many other non-mythic demi-human races it was already adequately powerful, comparing it to Erwind, it remained insufficient. Furthermore, the Snow Mountain Familiars were already the last place where he could obtain a massive Constitution buff.
Next, even if he researched Darivuvu, this Troll-kin, to perfection, there's no way he could surpass Erwind relying on Life Tiers; he needed another thod.
Although the Demi-Human Girl Completion Manual granted the so-called Post-Reproduction Enhancent Buff, Fisher didn't want to consider this kind of buff born of malicious humor right now, nor would he in the future, because this didn't align with Fisher's values.
Relying on reproduction to enhance one's strength, it sounded too strange. Moreover, it was impossible for him to casually grab a random woman to perform that kind of thing before every major battle, right?
First, he had the [Death Rune] capable of killing Erwind in a single strike, so it couldn't be considered that he completely had no chance of winning. However, based on his level, the chances of winning were very low; he remained in need of another weapon to assist himself...
Fisher's eyes trembled faintly. Looking at his own hands, a noun surfaced in his mind once again...
The Dual Circle Head Magic he hadn't yet successfully studied, possessing destructive power rivaling myth—[Killing Dragonspear].
