Rewinding ti back to over ten minutes ago. Deep in the corridor of the first-floor lobby.

"Fisher, he is here. Inside the Restroom."

In Fisher's line of sight, that man sporting a diterranean hairstyle, Caleb Uz, suddenly appeared at the doorway of a n's Restroom. Pointing at that room he leaned against, he reminded Fisher like this.

Fisher cast a glance at him but didn't reply, because he knew Caleb Uz before him was just a hallucination. The real Caleb Uz had long perished in the long river of history together with the Dragon Court.

He ignored the other party and directly pushed open the door panel of the Restroom. He only saw that within the narrow room, Balzac was bowing his head, leaning over the washbasin. In Fisher's eyes, upon his frail scholar's body, there seemingly was a massive flesh and blood monster. That flesh and blood monster extended a mosquito-like mouthpart from its head location, continuously sucking his brain matter.

Fisher's pupils shrank. The Fluid Sword in his hand instantly extended out. Massive silver light instantly unfurled, swallowing the entire room. But just as the blade struck out, from Fisher's front and embrace, two voices instantly transmitted,

"What are you doing?! Fisher!"

"Wait, I... cough cough!"

The simultaneous stopping voices coming from Eimhart and Balzac made Fisher's movents pause slightly. The next second, he blinked his eyes. The scene in the Restroom of that terrifying monster sucking Balzac's brain marrow abruptly turned into only a pale-faced Balzac alone. Placing both hands in front of his chest, he looked at the cold-faced Fisher gripping a blade Struck With Panic.

Fisher's action of swinging the blade ca to an Abrupt End. However, the Tenth-Tier body strength swung out with full force uncontrollably whipped up a gust of fierce wind, blowing the arm-hugging Balzac flying backwards. The tiles of the Restroom shattered into fine powder under Fisher's forcefully stepping left foot. That exaggerated shattering continuously spread. Bringing along the blade edge of the Fluid Sword, the entire Restroom was almost torn down.

"Crack crack crack!"

Pieces of tiles fell from the ceiling. Fisher's blade edge emanating a cold tallic gleam stopped between Balzac's legs. The terrifying slash mark almost made the Hahn Family completely cut off from descendants.

"Don't kill ... don't kill ..."

Balzac extrely spinelessly leaked out streams of burning liquid from his pants. He was already suffering a severe cold; at this mont, he was even more Scared Out of His Wits.

Fisher panted. Eimhart in his embrace also suddenly flew out, continuously bashing his square head against Fisher's head.

"What exactly is wrong with you?! Pulling a blade to hack people the mont you enter! Have you already beco so frenzied that you can't allow a single man to appear within the line of sight of that Turan Family's Eldest Miss?!"

"...You didn't see it?"

Fisher sowhat pantingly looked at the normal Balzac before him. But for that instant just now, he indeed felt a certain kind of monster existed on Balzac's body before him... whether it was the aura of its Soul or...

"See a ghost! Wait, what did you see just now?! Did you go secretly read that damn bird book behind my back again?! Your mom! I told you long ago that kind of forbidden knowledge cannot be read recklessly! If you keep reading, it won't just be as simple as a misperception! I don't want you turning into a lunatic so day!"

Fisher didn't answer Eimhart's question, but rely looked at Balzac before him, whose snot and tears were flowing together. Probably he was the one whose ntality had majorly collapsed right now. Originally, his body already wasn't well due to a cold, coughing terribly here in the morning. As a result, Fisher said nothing else, drawing his sword to hack him the mont he entered. Tenth-Tier strength nearly tore this place down even withdrawing the blade, scaring him so much his entire being doubted his life.

"No, his condition isn't right."

Fisher narrowed his eyes, looking at Balzac lying on the ground constantly shedding tears. He suddenly realized sothing and crossed four steps in one bound, arriving beside him and lifting his arm up. As a result, the mont he grabbed his hand, Balzac shrank back as if electrocuted.

"Don't... don't touch ! I truly was wrong, Big Bro. I will never provoke you again..."

Eimhart floating in mid-air gained dead fish eyes, roasting Fisher,

"Look, you even scared his gender into changing. Stop going mad recklessly from now on. Not everyone is unconstrained by gender like the great Sir Book Artifact."

Fisher couldn't be bothered with him. The turbid Mana Circuits in his hand instantly lit up. The magic simultaneously stimulated Balzac's Mana Circuits. In the instant his Mana Circuits lit up, Fisher imdiately saw densely packed Mana Circuits scurrying everywhere like tadpoles within his right arm. And amidst those Mana Circuits, a at-worm shaped Mana Circuit was that conspicuous...

"Wait, what... what is this thing?! Why would such a bug be inside my arm?!"

Balzac was not a hillbilly from the countryside. Naturally, he recognized those Mana Circuits existing inside his own body did not belong to him, but were more akin to being parasitized by so creature he had never seen before.

Fisher's eyes turned extrely chilling. He gnashed his teeth, yet that chilling na abruptly rang out within his heart.

Erwind!

The Lord of Life took action...

Balzac's body had problems five days ago. This explained that the other party placed this at-worm inside Balzac's body at least five days ago. And those tadpole-like things were eggs laid by this bug. But what was truly headache-inducing was, these things were not Balzac's clones, but bizarre creatures he cultivated.

Erwind knew he had the Death Rune that could instantly kill him in one hit on hand, hence why he used this kind of thod hiding beneath the water's surface.

"Balzac, what did you feel during this ti?"

"Ah, feel? I... just felt like catching a cold and fever, but it was a bit hard to sleep at night, constantly dreaming..."

"Dreaming? Dreaming of what?"

"Nothing much. Just my past matters of being exiled in Schwari. Oh, and also us searching for the Sigils together during this ti."

Fisher's pupils shrank slightly. If Erwind didn't obtain clues about entering the Wutong Tree from him when he went to sneak attack Lord Cardinal, he would also definitely know his movents, because Lord Cardinal always knew his location. Erwind wasn't a fool. The Turan family mber Valentiina, who could absolutely never be seen in ordinary days, moving about outside definitely was for so purpose.

Erwind set his eyes on the Turan family. Moreover, it was highly possible he already knew entering the Wutong Tree required Sigils. His objective this ti was the Sigils in Valentiina's hand.

Fisher abruptly raised his head and looked upstairs. That was the place where Valentiina and Clan Chief Dar were conducting discussions. If it was like this, what Erwind locked onto was definitely Valentiina.

"No... Big Brother Fisher... Uncle! Aren't you a Magician? Quickly save ! What exactly is inside my arm? Why can't I feel anything at all?"

Fisher lowered his head to look, but suddenly discovered his bug-like twisted Mana Circuits abruptly beca active. The next mont, a large bulge swelled up on Balzac's hand. A massive at-worm lunged out from his muscles, bringing Balzac's fresh blood as it pounced towards Fisher.

"Ah ah ah! I have feeling now, I have feeling now, but it hurts so much!!!"

"Clang clang clang!"

In mid-air, that at-worm brandished tentacles resembling lightning as it attacked towards Fisher. Fisher raised the Fluid Sword in his hand, accurately blocking the at-worm's attack. Following that, that straight Fluid Sword in mid-air abruptly twisted, stabbing towards that at-worm and nailing it to the ground.

Fisher looked up at Balzac's blood-dripping arm. Only to see countless little bugs stained with small black dots constantly drilling out from the rupture where the at-worm drilled out. Seemingly due to absorbing Balzac's blood, those small bugs multiplied as if infinite. Very quickly, they filled up the Restroom like a tide to the brim.

"Ah ah ah, Fisher, save ... I don't want to die yet..."

Facing Balzac's pleading voice, Fisher raised his eyes and took a look. He fiercely drew his blade and cleanly chopped off his right hand. The severed arm danced a half-circle in mid-air. While continuously shrinking and becoming as withered as a tree branch, a final massive wave of small bugs also landed on the Restroom's floor.

But those small bugs didn't attack Fisher. Instead, they crazily drilled into the crevices on the Restroom's walls. The densely packed black bugs resembling a black tide vanished Completely Clean in the blink of an eye. But Fisher had a premonition they hadn't disappeared, because in his eyes, a massive pupil appeared on the ground like a hallucination. But the next second, that pupil vanished without a trace.

In its place were tremors and rumbling sounds like an earthquake.

"Rumble!"

"Ah ah ah, it hurts so much, my hand, I'm going to die... Mom..."

"Fisher, it seems sothing is growing underneath! Your mom, wait! Open your pocket, let hide back inside before you make a move!"

Fisher, his face cold, used the Fluid Sword to fling the one-ard Balzac out of the Restroom. Imdiately after, he threw two Magic Rings to him, opening his mouth to speak,

"The green one is a healing ring, use it to stop the bleeding first. Inside the white one is a light magic, use it for self-defense. Find a safe place to hide, don't die."

Balzac clutched his continuously dripping shoulder. His right arm had completely vanished. He was in so much pain his face was pale, yet he still gratefully nodded towards Fisher, imdiately running towards outside the hotel without looking back.

"Rumble!"

Intense sounds of the earth rumbling continuously arrived. Fisher remained in place, watching helplessly as thick, fleshy, tree-branch-like tentacles violently surged out from the ground drilled through by those bugs. Those giant tentacles tightly enshrouded the hotel Valentiina was staying in like a palm, plating the room with a layer of bloody shadow.

An eyeball soaked in blood vessels suddenly blood before Fisher's eyes. Although Fisher knew the bizarre creature before him wasn't Erwind's main body, that guy was definitely using this guy to observe him.

Sure enough, the next second, that massive eyeball trembled twice. That bloodshot pupil abruptly split open like a mouth, exposing sharp teeth inside as well as a faint human voice,

"Fisher... long ti no see..."

Fisher stored Eimhart into his embrace. A trace of cold light flashed in his eyes. He raised the Fluid Sword in his hand, aiming it at the eyeball before him. He similarly sneered,

"Long ti no see, Erwind."
